Mr. Lybrate-user, its a home re, edy, you can try, if possible. Apply milk cream mixed with soaked almond paste for 20-30 minutes over the face/patches& then wash it off with normal water. Homoeopathic cream ANTIMARKS CREAM ( BIOVALLEY) Apply twice daily in circular fashion Lemon Juice A quick and easy solution is lemon juice. Lemons have vitamin C that can lighten dark spots on your face. It’s easy to apply. 1. Put some fresh lemon juice on a cotton ball and rub it directly on the affected skin area. 2. Allow it to dry and then wash it off with plain water. 3. Continue applying this dark spot removal home remedy for at least two weeks to get the desired result. If you have delicate or sensitive skin, you can dilute the lemon juice with plain water, rosewater, or honey. You can also use lime juice to get rid of black spots, applying it in the same manner as described above. 2. Buttermilk Buttermilk is also beneficial in getting rid of dark spots. Like lemon juice, it also helps fade blemishes and black spots but without causing burning sensation. 1. Take four teaspoons of buttermilk. 2. Add two teaspoons of fresh tomato juice. 3. Mix the two ingredients (both have excellent bleaching properties) and then apply. 4. Wash it off after 15 minutes. The lactic acid in milk too, will gradually reduce skin pigmentation, and brighten and tone your overall skin complexion. So, if you do not have buttermilk, simply apply soak a cotton ball in milk and dab it directly on your spots. Leave it on for about 10 minutes and then wash it off Put milk on a cotton ball and dab it directly on your spots. Repeat this procedure twice daily for four to five weeks. You can also prepare a solution by mixing milk and honey and apply the solution to your dark spots, leaving it on for 10 minutes. Homoeopathic treatment for Hairfall HAIR GROWTH OIL ( Wilmar Schwabe India) Apply twice weekly at night.Leave overnight A.C.9 ( BAKSON ) Chew 1 tab twice daily

It seems that you are having sun allergy. As weather is hot, avoid direct skin contact with sun. Apply sunscreen lotion before going out. Cover your face properly when going out. If possible avoid going out in peek hours like 12 to 3.

I am 20 years old male and have vitiligo skin problem for last 5 years. I have used so many medicine but haven't got any cure. What should I do know ?please cure this problem .

Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS), Diploma in Dermatology
Ayurveda, Faridabad
Hello, hi lybrate-user, vitiligo is a genetic disorder trigger by indigestion and stressful conditions. The patches on face, legs, arms, elbows, chest with hair on it remain black can be treated through medicines. No doubt there are some patches which are difficult to treat like on lips, fingertips, feet and where the hair color has changed to white. Vitiligo is an autoimmune disease and has no definite treatment and cure but it is a manageable disease and can be managed by using ayurvedic treatment internally and externally. Ayurvedic herbal medicines are used to purify blood and stop the spread of disease and external application are capable of quickly start regimentation. Extra use of haldi and vit. C, brinjal, red meat, fish, alcohol should be avoided in vitiligo.

For the diagnosis of sweet syndrome, are there any tests? I get these lesions only during winters on my dry hands and this time it's on my wrist. I usually apply cotaryl. After that it gets better over a period of time. Please advise.

Sweet's syndrome is also called acute febrile neutrophilic dermatosis. Its primary symptoms are skin lesions — usually small red bumps — and a fever. The lesions appear most commonly on your neck, arms, back, or face. The condition is easy to treat. The most common medications used for Sweet's syndrome are corticosteroids, which come in a variety of forms, including: pills and creams Blood test and microscopy are used to diagnose this Your doctor may remove a small piece of affected tissue for examination under a microscope. The tissue is analyzed to determine whether it has the characteristic abnormalities of Sweet's syndrome.
