I am about 70. I am having severe back pain and I am unable to do routine work. Kindly help me what type of medicine ...
Hello Sir, Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -Apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --While sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -Find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -Do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -Avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -Good posture plays a key role in your spine health, helping to prevent additional back and neck pain and even injuries to spinal structures. Try to be aware of your posture and make good posture part of your normal routine. -head up, shoulders back, rear tucked under -Stand and walk with correct posture -Sit with support -Lift and carry carefully -And finally, keep moving:-Maintaining a static position for too long—more than twenty or thirty minutes at a time—is hard on the back. Prolonged static posture can slowly deplete elasticity from the tissues. By simply moving—be it a change of position, a stretch, or a short walk—the tissue elasticity needed to protect your joints can be restored and the associated discomfort reduced. -Stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -Some Physiotherapy treatment like IFT current can give you relief. -Consult a Physiotherapist for detail assessment and management of your back pain. Best wishes.

Is there any herbal products are available in the market to shed grey hair without any side effects.
Hello. No, there is no such product. Also, we can't change the gray hair turn black, but of course, prevent further greying! The causes of premature graying of hair are several. Here we have listed out a few common causes. Heredity is a major reason for hair greying Excessive use of tobacco and smoking Chronic emotional stress or psychological worries Lack of nutrients such as vitamins, iron, copper and iodine in the diet Medical conditions such as anemia, hypothyroidism, tuberous sclerosis or neurofibromatosis Home Remedies: 1. Add the curry leaves to the oil and boil it for 6 to 8 minutes, or till the leaves turn black. Remove from flame and let it cool. Strain the oil in a container and massage your scalp and hair with this oil 3 to 4 times per week before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 2. Turn the fenugreek seeds to a smooth powder and keep aside. Heat the oil and add the amla pieces to it, let it boil for 5 to 6 minutes, add the fenugreek powder to the oil, let it boil for another minute and remove from flame. Let it cool and strain the oil, apply on scalp and hair before going to bed. Wash off with a mild herbal shampoo in the morning. 3. Mix onion and lemon juice in a glass bowl and apply on scalp and hair evenly. Leave it on for 30 minutes and wash off with a mild herbal shampoo. Repeat it 4 to 5 times a week for 2 weeks. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine – Schwabe's Acid Phos. 200/ once daily and Weisbaden 200/ twice daily – all of them for 1 month. And a multivitamin - A to Z/ 1 cap. Daily once for 3 months (as deficiency of zinc, copper and selenium can also cause premature greying). Use Schwabe's Arnica Shampoo and Hair Growth Oil. Revert.

Hello. Wash your face with Bakson's Facewash (wash your face with warm water only) and followed by CTMP, i. E. Cleansing, toning, moisturising and protection (apply liberally Sunscreen Gel with SPF-30) after washing your face daily. Prevention: -Take healthy food only and avoid unhealthy ones (although sebaceous glands are not excretory glands then as well!) as what you eat is reflected on your face! -Avoid taking unnecessary stress/ tension as it encourages secretion of stress hormone in the body as thus affects skin or any other tissue of the body. -Drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water in a day. -Take 6-8hrs. Of sound sleep everyday. -Don't use others towels, handkerchief on your face as well as never share yours. -Never ever rub your face as it damages the skin (even towel should be dab on skin softly) and break outs of acne get worsened! -Maintain hygiene, wash your face 2-3times in a day, changes the pillow covers, bed sheet daily, use cotton bed sheet only (try to sleep on your back). Home-made remedies: - Take 1 tbsp of fuller's earth (multani mitti) + a dash of lime + bit of rosewater – apply this on your face till it gets dried up, then rinse it off. - Take 1 tsp of Alum (or fitkari), make it slightly wet with water and apply this on your wet face, spread it well; let it dry and rinse it off. Alum remove your excessive moisture or oil and it also tightens the skin's tonicity. Medication: You can take homoeopathic medicines – Berberis Aquefolium Q/ 10 drops in 1/2 cup of water/ thrice a day (and for local application as well) and Kali Brom. 200/ thrice a day – for 30 days. Use of Skin toner or rosewater after few hours of gap in a day and splashing water on face 2-3 times a day along with intake of healthy food (sp. Fruits, nuts, salads, vegetables), avoiding junk food, taking 6-9 hrs of sound sleep, drinking 10-12 glasses of water in a day, daily light exercises and 30 minutes of brisk walk, positive thinking and keeping a big Smile on your face - these will keep you always fresh!

Health Benefits Of Wheat Bran

Health Benefits Of Wheat Bran

Health benefits of wheat bran

1. Snooze and lose those extra pounds

Like any dietary fiber, wheat bran can play a key role in losing and maintaining weight by staving off your hunger pangs. Wheat bran regulates your appetite and leaves you feeling full and satisfied. This mechanism directly promotes less food intake and also aids healthy eating and weight management.

2. Eat for a happier gut

Including wheat bran in your daily diet keeps you regular. If you are often constipated, adding more of wheat bran to your diet can get things moving. 3
It helps improve your overall digestive health by reducing constipation, hemorrhoids, leakage of stool, and other gastrointestinal disorders.

3. Be heart healthy

High blood pressure causes excess strain and damages your arteries. Consuming wheat bran has shown significant reductions in blood pressure. It has been associated with decreased cardiovascular risk and slower progression of cardiovascular diseases. Making wheat bran a part of your overall diet may help improve blood cholesterol levels, and lower risk of heart disease, stroke, obesity and diabetes.

4. Fight cancer with diet changes

Studies have proved that diets containing wheat bran are protective against colon cancer development. Wheat bran fights colon cancer in a three step process:

  • The first one being the dilution of potential carcinogens. Wheat bran, high in insoluble fiber, promotes bulky stools that reduce the chances of carcinogens accessing your colon lining.
  • Secondly, it accelerates bowel movements through the colon, which means the rapid movement reduces access of the colon cells to stool constituents. The third step involves its fermentation effect. The short-chain fatty acids reduce cancer formation and growth.
  • Wheat bran is a concentrated source of antioxidants and phytochemicals. These compounds effectively fight free radical damage and prevent serious conditions like cancer, while keeping the healthy cells intact.

You must take care about your diet. Faulty diet is common cause of weight gain. Eat plenty of vegetables and fruits. Avoid roti bread pudi paratha alu rice. If at all when taken then take it in a small amount. E. G. One thin roti. 2 teaspoons of rice. Increase water intake upto 3.5 litres per day. Do jogging for 40 minutes. At last also check for your haemoglobin and thyroid function test as their altered level can cause weight loss.
