Hi to increase weight you should improve your digestive system. By digesting your indigested food with the help of remedy and medicines will ultimately increase your appetite and digestive system. Take chitrakadi vati after meal. Take ashwagandha churna with water twice a day. Take banana milk shake. Take pranacharaya karsyatanashak capsule twice a day. Take sleep after taking meal drink lots of milk and eat lots of milk products. Like butter. Ghee.

Dear lybrate-user, at the age of 45 enlarged prostrate does not appear to be the best of the diagnosis. What is your exact complaint? do you have to go frequently to pass urine or does it take a lot of time during passing the same. Kindly consult with detailed reports.

There is a drastically hairfall since a year. Is there any remedy to cure it naturally?
Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash.

I have got red coloured patches on whole body. When I consult a doctor he said it is psoriasis & there is no permanent cure for it. For temporary he referred anti histamine tablets, clobetasol with salysilic acid 6% cream & antioxidants. When we apply it disappear in 1 place & re-occur in other parts. What should be done in order to control it & not to re-occur in other areas of body. Please suggest me proper medication sir.

Hii, psoriasis is genetic disorder triggered due to stressful conditions and irregular life style. Psoriasis is a manageable disease, generally patient use steroidal application on patches which give temporary relief and disease reappear after 2/3 days. In severe cases methotrexate is used which is not a safer option and is liver toxic. Ayurvedic external application give very quick results with sun exposure in clearing the scales and internal treatment does not allow the disease to re appear. You should use 3 gms of haldi with milk helps in psoriasis patients. Red meat, alcohol n stress should be avoided in psoriasis.

U have to improve your food habits do 1. Take 2/ 3 glass of warm water in the morning 2. Take more water in day 3. Take meals at fixed hrs 4. Take small amount of food at a time, take more frequent meals - may be five times a day. 5. No spicy/ fried/ fast/ junk/processed food. 6. No milk for few days, can take curd, no uncooked salad 7. Avoid constipation 8. Use nibu pani (lemon water) 2/ 3 times a day

I am suffering from mosquito bites, it happens in my office. Allout, odomos etc leave their effect for sometime only. I can't wear gloves to cover my hands coz of sweat, it makes me uncomfortable very soon. Whatever other says I have done everything. for temporary relief of itching, try these self-care measures: use a high-quality moisturizing cream on your skin. Apply an anti-itch cream or lotion to the affected area as prescribed by me avoid scratching whenever possible. Apply cool, wet compresses. Take a lukewarm bath. Wear smooth-textured, loose cotton clothing. Also, deep breathing techniques help your body relax, which may ease pain. Tension and tightness seep from muscles as they receive a quiet message to relax. Do reply back for medications. Hi i Had pain and decayed smell in 6+ teeth with food particle struck in between the joints of teeth. Root canal completed and filling up done yesterday. Still I have a sensation to press the gum near their joint and below and feel tolerable pain but the decayed smell continues making me to feel that still some food paricle is yet to be removed from the root. My dentist affirms that no food particle is left behind but still I feel the pain when I press the gum and decaying smell persists remedy please.

Dear , if the decay has been ther since a long time - it is called chronic - and chronic involvements of the pulp take longer to heal. I would advise you to brush - after breakfast and after dinner - and undertake multiple warm saline mouthrinses- 10 to 15 glasses a day. Your problem should gradually subside in few days. If not do get back on the same forum. Wil do our best to help you. If the problem subsides do proceed for a crown and that would further help in avoiding food impaction between teeth.

Hello, this may be because of acidity/ indigestion/ gas you can take(if no drug allergy): 1. Tablet Meftal spas one tablet stat after food 2. Tablet Pantocid 40 mg before food once a day for 2-3 days. And follow care advises given below. Avoid food from outside, junk, fried, spicy fatty food take home made light food like moong dal, Dalia, chapatti also tell me associated symptoms like vomiting sensation, loose motion/ burning sensation in chest or any other symptoms are present or not? so that we can reach diagnosis. Kindly see a physician for further management

Bronchial Asthma is inflammation or congestion of airway and has usually a family history some triggers like home dust,mites, pollen food products containing sulphite as preservative, sudden change in weather etc. or defect in nose. You have to identify the cause and take necessary precautions. To control the attacks which come in episodes there are tablets, meter dose inhalers or rotahalers You should consult a Physician or a Pulmonologist for advice. Which you may have to follow. Spontaneous cure is possible. Otherwise you should learn to keep it under control to prevent further complications

1. Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit like orange grape, lemon, tomato, cucumber, raddish, vinegar, pickle etc 2. Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3. Eat food slowly, don’t rush, take smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat. Limit fluid intake during meal4. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily). Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having,6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days.

not getting menstruation could be due to breast feeding of the baby. if not you have to look for other causes. epilepsy and the medicines used for treating it are not known to cause any menstrual disturbance. if you are not breast feeding pregnancy has to be ruled out and other causes have to be looked in to.

Your weight is normal so don't worry about this. But your hair fall is most important problem. If your hair lose about 50-100 strands of hair each day. It is normal but if you lose more than 100 strands of hair after shampoo then you suffer excessive hair fall. There r certain factor which is responsible for hair fall. 1. Now a days thyroid problem is very responsible for hair fall. You can improve your thyroid function to eat calcium, iodine, magnesium, protein, vit a b and c. 2. The ring worm scalp infection and fungal infection is most responsible factor for hair fall. So we use antifungal. 3. You eat balance diet especially protein and vitamin rich diet. 4. Now a days stress is very important factor for hair fall. You do meditation for stress free. 5. You use only home made shampoo and herbal shampoo only. You wash your hair by amla, retha, shikalahi and methi instead of shampoo.

5 Common Mistakes That Prevent You From Being Happy and Healthy Today, Backed by Science

Being healthy and happy is a state of mind. Yet, it is also a choice that we make consciously or subconsciously. The way we choose to live and how we respond by matter of habit or choice, to the various life events and situations thrown at us, pretty much decides how our hormones, blood pressure and other factors behave in the long run. Anxiety and general unhappiness have been found to share a deep link with the quality of one's health. So let us look at the common mistakes we make, backed by science, which may be keeping us from health and happiness.

  1. Avoiding Connections: What really happens when we do not cultivate relationships with people whom we can laugh and cry with? You end up bottling things up inside and do not get an outsider perspective that can help you take things in a lighter vein or from a different, often more justified perspective.
  2. Endorphins: Also, when you do not have someone you can laugh with, especially during stressful times, you end up supressing hormones like the endorphins which are known to be natural pain relievers too!
  3. Sitting All Day: If your job or lifestyle involves the sedentary act of remaining seated, you are first of all, asking for neck and shoulder pain in the long run. That besides, you are also losing your fast paced metabolism due to the lack of activity and this can also fuel the build up of toxins which may lead to chronic and potentially fatal diseases in the future.

Exercising, eating right and taking time to breathe and listen to people around you will help in fostering a better lifestyle with more human connections. This is especially important for people living in nuclear families with stressful jobs.
