I am facing pain in my chest portion and pain in my hands also having gastric. Is this any cause of heart attack.

MBBS, MD - General Medicine

I am facing pain in my chest portion and pain in my hands
also having gastric.
Is this any cause of heart attack.
Hello Dear there's is cardiac and non cardiac chest pain. Cardiac chest pain is origin from heart as you know in myocardial infraction or stable or unstable angina or from pericardium. Non cardiac chest pain origin from lung like pleuritic, from muscle like muscle spasm ,from intercostal nerve like nerve root compression or herpes zoster, from esophagus like GERD or diffuse esophageal spasm, from stomach like gastritis. From cervical spondylosis may also cause chest pain due to nerve compression. I think you may be suffering from non cardiac chest pain may be be originating from cervical spondylosis or due to acid reflux disease. So first you need to consult your doctor to confirm that the pain is not originating from heart by ECG. Then your doctor treat you non cardiac pain accordingly. I think I answered to your question if you have more questions feel free to ask. Take care.

Upto what extent can someones blood pressure can go high to maximum, if he is in twenties.

Upto what extent can someones blood pressure can go high to maximum, if he is in twenties.
Being in twenties is not a guarantee that your blood pressure will not shoot higher then accepted limits blood pressure has nothing to do with age but it is connected with your endocrinal level stress level and work schedule. Many young men in their twenties died of CVA or MI where blood pressure shoots above 200/150. Now coming to your point I guess you are asking about bp increase doing excercise. During stress training and Gymnastics bp can shoot above 150/120 for short time.

Having diabetes makes high blood pressure and other heart and circulation problems more likely, because diabetes damages arteries and makes them targets for hardening (atherosclerosis). Atherosclerosis can cause high blood pressure, which if not treated, can lead to blood vessel damage, stroke, heart failure, heart attack, or kidney failure.Diabetics can avail special benefits of walking by adjusting their walk time according to their blood sugar levels. For those individuals who have higher post-prandial (after meal) blood sugar levels, it is advisable to walk for 10 ? 15 minutes after every meal. While those who have higher fasting blood sugar levels, it is advisable to walk during late evenings. This helps in controlling the overnight hepatic output of blood glucose. This particular benefit of walking is not only for diabetics but also for those who want to cut down the risk of developing diabetes or for those who fall in the high-risk category because of genes/medical problems. A study conducted by the School of Public Health University of Pittsburgh discovered that walking for 30 minutes a day cuts diabetes risk for both overweight and normal weight men and women. You can consult me in private for detailed treatment which is available in Biochemic system of medicine depending upon symptomatically. Eatng lots of garlic. If you cant have it get it homeopathically Allium sativum (Biochemic) Nat phos 30x, avoid all types of fats and red meat

Dear lybrateuser, - Your pain could be due to acidity/ GERD - avoid spicy, fried, sour & junk food - chew your food well, do not miss meals, have meals on time, have 4-5 small meals rather than three large meals, do not lye down for about an hour after meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - have 7-8 glasses of water daily for proper hydration - take tab Pantaprozole, 40 mg,1 tab half an hour before breakfast daily morning
