I am 48 year old female. My hdl and ldl colestrol are higher side. Kindly advice.
Let the hdl be on higher side but ldl must not be! try eatng lots of garlic. If you cant have it get it homeopathically allium sativum,(biochemic) nat phos. Avoid all types of fats and red meat and excessive salt consumption. Requires detailed questioning so as to ascertain your personality and to treat you symptomatically. Treatment is available, safe and without side effects in biochemic system of medication. Consult me in private.

this reports are not good for you...pl. consult near by doctor soon. Finding the Best High Cholesterol Treatment There's a lot of variability in how high cholesterol treatments work in a given person. Treatment that did wonders for your spouse may do nothing for you. Some of it depends on your genes. You and your doctor will need to come up with a custom-tailored approach. For most people, the first high cholesterol treatment to try is three lifestyle changes: Eating better Maintaining (or losing) weight Exercising more Some people, if they already have other risk factors -- such as diabetes -- may immediately start medication as well. While lifestyle changes can really help bring your cholesterol down, Wong says that not enough people give them a real chance. "The problem is that both patients and their doctors like immediate results," he tells WebMD. "Lowering your cholesterol with exercise and diet is just not like that." So try to give high cholesterol lifestyle treatments time to work. If they do, you can avoid the hassle of being on a daily medicine for the rest of your life.

Dear, you need to reduce the cholesterol levels. High cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia) what is hypercholesterolemia? hypercholesterolemia is a condition in which the level of cholesterol in your blood is high. When you have too much cholesterol, deposits of fat in the blood called plaque form inside blood vessel walls. The blood vessel walls thicken and become narrower (a condition called atherosclerosis). This change in the blood vessels reduces blood flow through the blood vessels, increasing your risk of heart disease and possibly leading to heart attacks or strokes. Cholesterol is a naturally occurring fatty substance. Your body needs small amounts of cholesterol to make and maintain nerve cells and to produce hormones. Most of the cholesterol in your blood is made by your liver from the fats, carbohydrates, and proteins you eat. You also get cholesterol by eating animal products such as meat, eggs, and dairy products. The two most important components of cholesterol are ldl (low-density lipoprotein) and hdl (high-density lipoprotein). Ldl and hdl carry cholesterol through your blood. Ldls carry a lot of cholesterol, leave behind fatty deposits on your artery walls, and contribute to heart disease. Hdls do the opposite. They clean the artery walls and remove extra cholesterol from the body, thus lowering the risk of heart disease. Ldl is called" bad" cholesterol. (you can think of" l" for" lousy" cholesterol.) hdl is called" good" cholesterol (think of" h" for" healthy" cholesterol). It is good to have low levels of ldl and high levels of hdl. How does high cholesterol occur? the main cause of high cholesterol is eating foods that are high in saturated fat or cholesterol. Other possible causes are? an inherited problem with the way your body processes cholesterol? a disease that raises the cholesterol level (for example, diabetes mellitus, kidney disease, liver disease, or hypothyroidism). What are the symptoms? high cholesterol is a silent disease. There are no symptoms until problems have already developed, such as the chest pain of a heart attack or calf pain with walking, caused by narrowed or blocked arteries to the legs. How is it diagnosed? you will have blood tests to check your cholesterol level. These lab tests usually measure your total cholesterol level as well as the levels of low-density lipoprotein (ldl), high-density lipoprotein (hdl), and triglycerides. You may need to fast before your blood test. This means you do not eat or drink anything except water for 12 hours before the test. Your health care provider may give you a physical exam. He or she may ask about your diet and diseases and health problems in your family. How is it treated? the goal of most cholesterol treatment is to decrease the ldl in your blood and to raise the hdl. For every 1% decrease in cholesterol level, your risk of heart disease is reduced 2%. A diet high in fiber and low in total fat, saturated fat, and cholesterol can help to lower cholesterol levels. For more information on changes you can make in your diet, see health maintenance: controlling cholesterol. You will need to lose weight if you are overweight. You should also exercise as recommended by your health care provider. If diet and exercise are not enough to reduce your cholesterol level, your health care provider may prescribe drugs. Among the drugs commonly used are cholestyramine, niacin, gemfibrozil, atorvastatin, fluvastatin, lovastatin, pravastatin, and simvastatin. Each medicine has slightly different effects. Sometimes you will need to take more than one medicine to decrease your total cholesterol. Your health care provider will choose the best medicines for you. How can I take care of myself and prevent high cholesterol? in addition to changing your diet, you can help lower your cholesterol by the following? get more exercise, especially aerobic exercise. Ask your health care provider about an exercise prescription. Start slowly to avoid injury. Exercise helps raise hdl levels, improve circulation, decrease body fat, and tone muscles? don't smoke? maintain a normal weight? have your cholesterol levels and weight checked by your health care provider.

Most likely to be costo chondritis, a low inflammatory condition of ribs meeting the central sternum. The joints are tender due to ligamentous inflammation which is not evident on x rays. Locally tenderness on touch is there. General lack of exercise aggravates this. Regular breathing and stretching exercises of chest muscles helps in increasing stretchability at these joints without causing pain. It needs patience for some length of period to get results. Occasional use of anti inflammatory and muscle relaxants can be made.

What is the functions of kidney in human body, and also the heart,? please send the answer.
Kidneys function is to filter blood for toxins and hearts function is to receive impure blood to one side and send that blood to lungs for purification and than again receive that pure blood and send it to body tissue.

Has a pain in heart when tense. Twice bye pass done.
Any precautions or r these symptoms of any other disease?
Hello sir, based on the short description it would be difficult for me to help you determine whether the cause of the pain is cardiac or not. Considering the history of bypass surgery, it's best to rule cardiac cause of pain. It's always better to find the cause and than treat the same. No particular precaution to be taken, except continuation of medicine prescribed and an active lifestyle with healthy diet. For finding the cause: if you are physically active, a treadmill stress test would be the best choice. If not a stress echocardiography should be a reasonable alternative. The above test should be particularly done if the chest pain occurs when you exert (being tense is a mental exertion) climb stairs and if there is associated breathlessness. Let me know if any clarification needed and I would be happy to help. Regards

hi sonam if I were your treating family doctor I would evaluate you first .. most commonly FOR on and off chest pain heart attack can be ruled out first. nextly it should move only gastritis . for that ask him to take tab.razo-d for two weeks twice a day before food. x ray obviously will be normal. it has nothing to do with your chest pain. . drink plenty of water of atleast 5 to 6 litres of water per day which is compulsory. hope I answered your question.don't hesitate to ask me any quiries if you have any . have a good day.

Heart problems do not continue to exhibit their symptoms these long. It is possible that your brother might have suffered from muscular pain around the left side of the chest and worrying about any heart problem. You can get him checked with your local doctor.

Initially I was on telmisartan 40 mg then some combinations were used by doctor later I started exercise and a year ago I used to feel fainted post which doctor reduced telma dosgae to 20 mg which I hv been using for more than a year now and BP was regular during this time. But recently my BP reading was 160/100 later doctor advised to check it frequently and it was near this reading only. I got my lipid profile done and result: cholesterol was 213, triglyceride 241, HDL 38, LDL 126.8, VLDL 48.2, total cholesterol/HDL 5.60 & Non HDL 175 this report also has huge difference in lipid levels as compared to previous one done 3 months ago/which was pretty normal. Now doc has advised to take CTD-T 6.25/40 along withatorvastatin10 mg. And I am doing exercise regularly. Would I be able to go back to lower dosage of this drug or whn can I expect to not to have this medicine as it's been a long time that I am not this treatment and also do these drugs have side effect on me.
