Can we have sex during periods time? If not how many days we have to stay away after periods?

Can we have sex during periods time? If not how many days we have to stay away after periods?
It is absolutely safe to have sex during periods. There is only religious belief not to have sex during pregnancy as woman is Dirty or UNCLEAN during this time.Although sex is safe from pregnancy point of view but your risks of sexually transmitted diseases and infections are higher than normal during this time because the cervix opens to allow blood to pass through. Unfortunately, this creates the perfect pathway for bacteria to travel deep inside the pelvic cavity. You are also more likely to pass on blood-borne diseases like HIV and hepatitis to a partner during your period and more likely to develop yeast or bacterial infections because the vagina's pH during menstruation is less acidic. You can have safe unprotected sex during Mensturation and 3 days after completion of menses if menses lasts for 4-5 days.

My wife is 27 years old. She is feeling burning pain in her vagina when I put my penis. So she is not allowed me to do sex from 2 years. Remaining time she is ok. She has good health also. Why this problem with her. Suggest any medicines.

MBBS
General Physician, Mumbai
It might be due to tightness of vagina and I will suggest you to stimulate her clitoris for a minute and than insert your penis and even if the problem persists than we have to examine her for further guidance

Hi I want to know about the dates to do sex to get pregnancy for my wife as her period date is 23 rd of every month.
Hi . A pregnancy would happen if you have relations around the time of ovulation. Ovulation happens during mid cycle. Ideal days to have relations is 10th, 12th, 14, 16th and 18th day of periods.

Hi, me and my husband are trying for baby since months now. Have done all harmone tests, tsh test (is 11 and medicines are strted), sonography is also done. All the testes are normal. Also following the ovulation period. What could be the reason for delay. Any medication to be taken to conceive fast? please help.

Patience is the key to treatment. No medicine helps to conceive fast. You havent mentioned about the semen analysis report. Also your thyroid function needs to normalise first.

We had unprotected intercourse this morning ,where in her periods stopped two days ago. In this intercourse I have not put my penis inside the vagina but I was trying to masturbate over her vagina and the sperms came out over her vagina. She went inside and cleaned it off immediately and took a ipil. Will it help? And what should be done now to avoid pregnancy? If there is a risk.

There are various causes of irregular period , but the most common is a hormone imbalance. And some other causes are mainly -Stress -New cycle , that is the irregularity experienced by some young girls at the onset of the periods. Their cycle can be irregular for months or years whilst it is establishing itself. -Dietary problems , e.g. Anorexia, bulimia or simply poor diet -Too much exercise -Drugs - prescription and recreational -Break in routine -Thoughts and emotions -Sexual activity - especially when it is a new occurrence -Anxiety about pregnancy -Illness or physiological imbalance e.g. Thyroid conditions (-i suggest you some home remedy -Take ½ teaspoon finely ground cinnamon (dalchini) every night along with 1 cup milk. -Powder 1 teaspoon dried mint (pudina) leaves and take with 1 teaspoon honey, thrice daily. Hello, The delay could be stress induced in itself and as its the first episode, you can just watch your next 2 cycles to establish the pattern. If menses do not resume in next few days then you can opt for a withdrawal bleed with progesterones.

Bloated Stomach Solution

Bloated Stomach Solution
Little and often

Keep your meals small and regular. A big meal sitting in the stomach will produce a pot-bellied look even in the slimmest person, whereas eating little and often won’t overtax your digestive system, and is less likely to spoil your silhouette in that little black dress. But good news for baked bean-lovers – plant-breeding programmes have made these beans lower in raffinose, the sugar that causes wind.

Get in balance

An imbalance of good and bad bacteria in the gut can also cause bloating, so top up with a healthy probiotic yoghurt or drink. Take a little care at first, though, as sometimes probiotics can unsettle things digestion-wise, at least temporarily. If you’ve been overdoing refined carbs, swap to smaller portions of slower-releasing, low-GI types, such as porridge, grainy breads and wholewheat pasta. Swapping some of your carbs for monounsaturated fats (MUFAs) will also help (think nuts rather than pretzels, tahini instead of jam).

Flat tum foods

Great flat-tum-friendly foods are potassium-rich fruit and veg, in particular bananas, beetroot and a daily glass of orange juice. Potassium works its magic by counteracting the water-retaining effects of excess sodium in the body. But you’ll also need to cut down on salty foods to maximise the stomach-flattening impact.

Drink less
Never drink on an empty stomach and go for spritzers or other lower-alcohol drinks to help keep your stomach trim. Instead drink plenty of water to aid digestion and flush out waste matter more efficiently.

Put down the chewing gum

When we chew gum, we often swallow excess air which leads to bloating. Avoid it altogether where possible!

Avoid stress
There's a clear link between stress and digestive health. Why not go for a run to de-stress, or book in to that much-needed yoga class?

I'm going with ivf treatment. What precautions should I take to get positive results? Please advise.

Follow your doctor's advice. Many factors influence the success rate of ivf. From your part, try to have the injections in time, as prescribed.
