You need to see ENT specialist. As whatever the cause only he can tell you by checking your inner ear. Whenever you travel by air U put cotton buds in both your ears. Also chew (toffee or chicklet or empty) esp during take off n landing. Al the best.

Truth is that there is no medicine for sleep the medicine for those you think these are for sleep they are actually the medicines which provide you unconsciousness not sleep and there is a big difference between sleep and unconsciousness And fortunately there are so many very much better homoeopathic medicines these are all safe, very effective, without any side effect you can take for your better treatment and by this you can quit the allopathic drugs you are taking for sleep and by this medicine you can have a very good sleep without any allopathic medicine if you convey your problem regarding your insomnia in detail so that we can prescribe you correctly, for it you can contact on chat or on call us.

You will not get better unless you stop smoking completely. Your smoking is adding fuel to fire. Consult a good pulmonologist.

Hello lybrate-user did you recently have cold. During attack of cold the ears get blocked due to spread of infection via a tube into the ears. This tube usually opens during yawning that's when you feel opening in ears. If still you feel blocked you can do steam inhalation, do chew carrots on the side of block. Certain nasal drops decongestants help. If still the same do consult. Take care.

When I cough it feel very dry and during breathing it feels like something is stuck I used various home remedies like Steam Ginger Salt water gargle But it Didn't work. Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking help. Your problems seem to be mostly due to allergy. To clear off the sticky mucous, drinking half a glass of luke warm water in which a teaspoonful of fresh honey, 1/4 tsp turmeric, little bit of grated ginger and about 2 pieces of black pepper (grind) are mixed properly would help. You can take this twice daily after food. As an alternative to the above-mentioned, you may as well take 10 ml of Dabur Honitus syrup, thrice daily. Its in your best interest that you have stopped smoking. It seems you are somehow allergic to certain foods and drinks including tea, and also smoking which when taken is leading to excess mucous secretion and hence the stickiness. I would first and foremost advise you to restrict intake of such foods/ drinks so that you can prevent most of these issues. I recommend you to have a balanced yet relatively bland diet devoid of excessive spices, salt, oil et al and have a regularized lifestyle with due emphasis on relaxation/ de-stressing. Exercise/ walking for at least 30 - 45 mins should be a part of your daily regimen unless you have other health issues that do not allow you to. Again, in order that you do not get acidity, it is advisable that you avoid tomato based products, citrus fruits/ juices, greasy, fatty or fried and hot foods, sweets, alcohol, caffeinated beverages, tea (with milk), deep fried flesh foods, peppermint, dairy products including chocolates etc. Also, avoid sticky foods that create more of mucous leading to congestion in throat. Hope this helps correct your condition and also give you a long term prophylactic support. You can always meet up a ENT specialist in person for further clinical evaluation should you not get relief still. Do take care and all the very best. Sincerely,

I have recently had a ECG for a job, the results of ECG showed that I had suspect anteroseptal myocardial infarction and sinus tachycardia but they somehow granted me the fitness certificate, I want to know whether the said condition is something to be worried of or it is minor symptoms of something else.

BHMS, DEMS
Homeopath, Pune
An anteroseptal infarction is a specific area of heart that dies due to lack of or insufficient flow of blood. If Dr. Suspect you hv mi definitely they advice hospital admission. Tachycardia is caused by something that disrupts the normal electrical impulses that control the rate of your heart's pumping action. Many things can cause or contribute to problems with the heart's electrical system. Causes=anemia exercise sudden stress, such as fright high blood pressure smoking fever drinking too much alcohol. Drinking too many caffeinated beverages medication side effects. If cardiologist given fitness certificate. Then no worry about that. If you hv any doubt take one more ecg and show to cardiologist. Don't think too much. Avoid stress.
