My right leg pains alot, starting from my right bum down to my thighs and sometimes till my ankle. Is it sciatica?

May be your have to suffering disc herniation and root compression. The symptoms are standing more pain with difficult to walking left leg numbness. If theses r symptoms present so you need mri l/s spine and consult to neurosurgon.

My periods have not come since march. I am 43 years old and follow good diet. I have back ace since 2007. No medicine, only on physiotherapy when required. Doctor says it may be due to hormone imbalance. Is there any medicine in ayurved. If so what I should do. Please reply.

45-50 is the age when menopause occurs. It might b reason tht you may b approaching menopause so harmonal imbalance can b the reason also. So its better to undergo ultrasound scan before starting any treatment.

you may be having anxiety neurosis or cervical problem,,do not worry dear , take proper sleep , avoid pillow under head during sleeping,,, take ashwgandadi cap at night ,,remain calm , read some books ,do exercise , Exercise will bring fatigue , which in turn bring sleep..ok take care

This is a general low back ache and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes, if pain still persists you can stretch your body by twisting the waist on both sides how we used to do in the school drill similarly you can try which will help you relax as well will reduce the pain. It looks like you are anaemic. If you have back pain after you sit for long hours then it is due to your haemoglobin levels as it is important to check that. Anaemia always leads to the symptoms of being tired and also having back / leg pain though there may not be any pathological reasons for back pain.

Hi lybrate-user aerobic workouts aerobic workouts increase your heart rate. The cardiovascular exercises help to blaze calories and fat from your body. To reduce belly fat follow the rule. Do aerobic exercises for 30 minutes, 5 days per week. If you follow the program, you are sure to burn calories resulting in weight loss of 2 lbs in a week. Increase the time to another 30 minutes, to shed more weight. Fast walking, swimming and pedaling your way are the workouts to reduce belly fat. Indian women can easily reduce belly fat by doing domestic work without using any machines. Circuit training circuit training is doing a combination of workouts repeatedly. It includes 30 seconds of jogging, 10 lunges, 10 pushups, 10 bicep curls, 10 sit-ups and 10 squats. Doing the circuit training regularly, you can increase your heart rate and improve your muscle groups in your body such as core, legs buttocks and arms. Complete the circuit training exercise by doing the activities mentioned in 1 one minute without any break. The routine workout helps your weight loss program. The plank routine the plank workout reshapes the abdominal muscles underneath your belly fat. This is a simple exercise to try; lay yourself on the floor with your stomach touching the floor. Now, transfer your weight to forearms and toes and slowly lift your body off the floor and you are on the straight line from head to toes. When lifting your body off the floor, breathe deeply for 30 seconds and gradually increase the time once you gain abdominal strength.

How heal spur is treated. My wife is 70 years old ,since last one month she feel too much pain in left heal when she leave wed in morning. Pain killer and message is being taken. No significance relief is observed. What to do please advise.

Get treated with Ultrasonic therapy which would directly heal the calcaneal spur (inflammation of the calcaneum bone) which causes the heel pain in majority of the cases. Along with ultrasonic therapy, shortwave diathermy also can be given. Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area: Simultaneously it is better to wear MCR chappals (micro cellular rubber) which will help to transfer the Plantar Fascitis weight evenly in the feet so that the weight will be completely felt in the heel area. You shall do contrast bath to relieve this pain. Contrast bath is nothing but keeping in one tub hot water (bearable heat) and in another tub cold water Ask your father to apply ice in the painful area which would definitely help to greater extent. If still the pain persists then it is better to keep TENS stimulation at one of the nearby physiotherapy clinics.

Looks like your shoulder muscles are strained. You can apply cold fomentation at least twice a day. Avoid doing any strainuous activity with left hand including lifting heavy objects.

Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days caldikind plus (mankind) 1 tab odx10days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do ask for detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore, lest it becomes starting point of a major problem.

Hello. Neck problem is mostly due to cervical spondylitis. Pls let me know if she has any pain or tingling in her arms. Till then ask her to take 1) tab hifenac p twice daily after meal 2) cap pan d once daily before meal. Also avoid lifting heavy weight. Ask for more help if needed.
