Hi Lybrate user, first you should go to physiotherapist under his survillance you can follow these exercises like cat and camel, pelvic tilt ,partial curl. Quadruped arm/leg, and extension exercises along with ultrasound therapy, tens therapy gives you relief a lot. REGARDS.

I am 44 years old and have back pain from last 1 month. Visited doctor and advised for sonography and x-ray and sonography report are normal and in x ray there is space between L5 and s1. So what is the treatment I need. I ride bike 60 km everyday.

yes this is spondylosis due to degeneration , low calcium & lifestyle . Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. Start natural calcium supplement. Do regular stretching exercise In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR. Consult a physiotherapist tp check with your range of motion of elbow. So that you can check with the elbow angle for better clarification, to confirm we can go for an xray and then decide whether you are eligible for army or not. Apply ice in the painful area which would definitely help to greater extent. And you can wear elbow brace which would help you to keep your elbow warm and will give you protection.

Avoid exercise. Do physiotherapy treatment posture correction must avoid long sitting toward bending lifting heavyweight.

I have been feeling pain in ankles ,and weakness sometimes in arms and legs,recently got pain in knee and checked up to get perhaps early symtoms of osteoporosis BMD -2.5, joint gap getting lesser itseems, Alhough taken medicine precribed by docter but still movements if increases are painful ,not able to walk fast.

Hello, It seems as if you are having Osteoporosis with arthritic changes in joints. You will have to continue with rigorous exercises to strengthen muscles around knee, keep your calcium and vitamin d levels normal. Also your haemoglobin is low so take green vegetables and a haematinic on advise of a physician to increase your Hb levels.

I am suffering from neck cervical pain Please mention some useful guidelines for me.

Follow advises given below 1.Avoid using computers continuously, take rest for 5 min after working for half an hour 2. In pain free interval do neck exercise (kindly learn exercise by registered Trainer) 3. you can use thin pillow while sleeping so that normal posture of neck can be maintained 4.Maintain proper posture of body while watching TV/ studying Get cervical X ray AP and lateral done and review with reports Consult Physician/me for Further Management

Advice. Regular stretching of shoulder muscles. Warm up and cool down is a must. Hot fomentation. Self massage the back of neck. Use cervical pillow.

Dear its due to postural problem .. try the tips they will help u:: Dear, follow the tips they will help you ::: 1.Warm mustard oil or sesame oil (1 teaspoon) with 3-4 cloves of crushed garlic and 1 tsp of ajwain (carom) seeds until it roasts to a reddish brown colour. Ensure that it does not get burned. Massage this oil on your affected areas. After that do hot fomentation with salt potli (bag). 2.Take 8 to 10 glasses of water daily. 3.Increase the consumption of vitamin C in diet. 4.Take fresh Ginger into pieces, place in the cup of water and boil it for 30 minutes in low flame. Cool for 30 minutes after boiling. Consume this solution with Honey. 5.While sleeping, lie straight on your back or with bent knees supported by a pillow. 6.Taking hot and cold compresses on an alternate basis can be quite helpful in relieving pain. 7. Sit and stand in straight posture. While driving take a break after 1 hr for 10 min and walk for a mile and do stretching and deep breathing. 8. Do yoga and pranayam daily specially shalabhasana, bhujangasana, natrajasana, mandukasana and suryanamaskar daily 10 min each pose. Revert back for further management.
