Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. I will rather ask you to go to a good general physician or an endocrinologist for a complete workup and appropriate treatment because it seems that your overall growth is less than expected values at this age. Bones and musculoskeletal system will itself grow once you have treatment for your primary condition. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

If you are having knee problem, get yourself checked by an orthopedic, if its early arthritic changes seen in your knee joint, then don't go for treadmill running, firstly you can take physiotherapy for your knee joint, do exercises given by the therapist to strengthen knee muscles, and take necessary precautions for further damage, secondly start with your weight loss goal, do exercises like brisk walk on a smooth surface, yoga and a proper balanced diet to loose weight.

I have got pain in my ankle and it produces crunching sound while walking What should I do?

DNHE, BPTh/BPT, weight management specialist
Physiotherapist, Kolkata
You keep your ankle supported in a crepe bandage, and use ice pack, 2-3 times a day. Without examining its difficult to exactly guide you, but if you had any injury to the ankle and there is a swelling which is not going away, then get a x-ray done.

Physical therapy can provide a number of benefits, from pain relief to improved physical strength and flexibility. Your doctor may recommend that you meet with a physical therapist to provide you with specific exercises designed for your needs. Range-of-motion and stretching exercises can help maintain flexibility in your joints and preserve good posture. Proper sleep and walking positions and abdominal and back exercises can help maintain your upright posture. Acupuncture Helps Relieve the Severe Pain of Ankylosing Spondylitis. The research on acupuncture for ankylosing spondylitis confirmed decrease in pain, increased range of movement on the spine, ESR levels were reduced by half, C-reactive protein reduced to 25% and even the HLA-B27 marker had been reduced.

I have pain in the leg so it can't remove anyone so pizza give me the suggestion.
Hello lybrate user, leg pain after running is common due to spasm in the leg muscles known as tibialis anterior which functions to pull the foot towards your body during walking, running. When a person runs or exerts an unaccustomed stress there occurs production of lactic acid in the muscle which is quite painful. Relief by: rest ice application stretching exercises will help a lot god bless you.
