• For Leg Pain, please follow the below advise • Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment where a limb or the entire body is immersed in warm water followed by the immediate immersion of the limb or body in ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation. • : Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying • Quadriceps strengthening exercises- • Quad Clenches: Lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, Hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. • Short Arcs: Lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. • Straight Leg Raise: Lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain and inflammation 4) exercise and manual therapy will help in pain free movement. Prescriptions- in morning you will do stretching your leg muscles calf muscles, shoulder muscles and stretch your neck muscles. In your office you will also do stretching of your calf muscles and neck muscles. For knee pain you will put towel roll under your knee and push it (towel roll). Put hot water bottle over the affected area of neck, shoulder, and knee. X-ray knee area and cervical.

i am 46 old married female. weight 61 kgs, height 5.5 ft pls give me precautionary measure to avoid too much of knee pain and low back pain, as of now pain is very mild... because , my mother has these sort of pain since many years and she is 66 now. i am afraid might be as an heridity it comes to me also. And i am taking thyronorm 25 mg regularly since 8 years for hypothyriod. . I do not go for a regular morning walk because of some unavoidable situations at home but i never use vehicle for daily routine distances... and no maid at home i do all my household work. expecting a suggestive remedy from you. thanks.

If your menstrual cycle is delayed, definitely do get a urine for pregnancy test done. If you do not want to become pregnant do use contraceptives. The safe period is usually the first week of your cycle Nd the last but if the cycle is irregular, it is not necessarily safe so should not be used as contraception.

You may have a bad back because of your pregnancy and bad posture. I suggest you undergo some physiotherapy and back strengthening exercises. Also you could apply a hot water bag fomentation to relieve the pain.

My right neck shoulder and hand pains a lot. Doc said trapezius is in spasm. I use laptop a lot and smartphone too. I have long hair so I normally tie a jooda. Sometimes there is numbness in hand n fingers and sometimes there is pricking pain. I. M taking zerodol & multivitamins. But its not helping much.

Dear it's all because of the work strain that you are getting the problem. It may be associated with cervical spondylitis also as you say you have numbness in your hands and fingers. You need to do some exercises for your neck and keep ice pack on the trapezius. Wishing you good health.

Ganglion, if painful can be surgically removed. But you have to remember that they can recur in about 10 - 15 % people. There is no role for aspiration since the recurrence rate is even higher. Sometimes it does disappear on its own.

You are not getting enough thyronorm and that is why your tsh is elevated. Please increase your thyronorm dose to 75 microgram. Also take it first thing in am and do not eat for 1/2 hour after taking the medicine. Have your tsh checked in 6 weeks. This should take care of most of your symptoms. Let us see how you do on this.

Doing yoga esp bhujangasana regularly at lest for 5 mints will help you to reduce the pain, Along with bhujangasana, if you do ardha shalabhasana with each leg for 5 mints & shalabhasana for 5 minits. breathlessness will be not there. Along with yogaasan stat using homeopathy medicine to prevent the backache in future.

Warm up your body before running. 4> Massage your shin muscles for 10-20 minutes. You can massage with ice. 5> Strengthen your lower legs. Ask your physiotherapist to teach you "Prevention For Runners Program" 6> Finally, have patience. Sometimes sore shins just happen and unless the pain is severe or sharp, you can train through it. Stay tough! NOTE: If your shin pain is severe, sharp, or lasts longer than a month, you should get it checked. You could have compartment syndrome." mednames="">That is termed as Shin Splints. It usually affect new runners or those who donot run consistently. It is caused by too much stress to the shin muscles. There are several reasons why you may be getting shin splints so one of these treatment options may not work for you. My recommendation is to experiment with all of these suggestions and if you can, implement them all. 1> Don't tie your shoes too tight. Doing so will restrict your shin muscles movement. 2> Avoid "three too's" - too much, too soon, too fast. Sudden increase in volume or intensity can over stress your shins making more susceptible to sore shins. 3> Warm up your body before running. 4> Massage your shin muscles for 10-20 minutes.
