Consult a Oral and Maxillofacial surgeon. For dry mouth, consider chewing sugar-free gum or sucking on sugar-free candies to help stimulate salivary flow. There also are artificial saliva’s on the market that may help to induce salivation.

I want to know the best toothpaste for whitening of teeth n having germ free mouth?

I want to know the best toothpaste for whitening of teeth n having germ free mouth?
Snowdent (tooth paste)- for whitening teeth for germ free mouth you can use any toothpaste like colgate, pepsodent, dabur lal etc. But cleanliness of your teeth depends on proper brushing technique. Atleast brush your teeth vertically rather than horizontally and choose soft bristled brush always.

Sir my mouth smells bad sometimes due to excess of saliva sir pls recommend some thing so my mouth should not smell bad.
Although excessive saliva is not too common, there are a number of conditions that can cause it - some harmless, others more serious. It is possible that your saliva problems are just a result of the way you speak. Some people speak faster or slower than others, just as some people blink more often, breathe faster, or have a more rapid heartbeat. This may just be what's normal for you. Since it is negatively affecting your life, I suggest your problem can be ignored. However there are medical conditions that causes excessive salivation Physiological Pregnancy Local causes Oral inflammation- teething Infection –oral cavity infection, dental caries, tonsillitis, peritonsilar abscess Systemic Toxin exposure- pesticides, mercury, capsaicin, snake poisoning Medication –tranquilizers, anticonvulsants, anticholinesterases lithium Neuromuscular –cerebral palsy, Parkinson’s disease, motor neuron disease, bulbar/ pseudobulbar palsy, Stroke Infection- rabies Gastric- gastroesophageal reflux Injection Glycopyrrolate reduces secretions in the mouth, throat, airway, and stomach. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person. DENTAL TIPS: - Visit a dentist every six months for cleaning and a thorough dental check-up. Limit sugary food to avoid tooth decay. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush. Tooth brush to be changed every 2 months.

Bad breath can be reduced or prevented if you: practice good oral hygiene. Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque. Don't forget to brush the tongue, too. Replace your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months or after an illness. Use floss or an interdental cleaner to remove food particles and plaque between teeth once a day. See your dentist regularly -- at least twice a year. He or she will conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and will be able to detect and treat periodontal disease, dry mouth, or other problems that may be the cause of bad mouth odor. Drink lots of water. This will keep your mouth moist. Chewing gum (preferably sugarless) stimulates the production of saliva, which helps wash away food particles and bacteria.

If you chew a sugarless gum for 20 minutes after your meal, it will make the leftover food particles cling to it and will freshen your breath.
