These medicines should continue. You can go for higher study. Your teachers and friend must be aware of your disease. If three years passed without problem then under guidance the drug can be stopped.

Neurologist,
Hello,

Hello lybrate-user, Thank you for your question. Right side sensory symptoms could be due to stroke (vascular), migraines, multiple sclerosis or somatization (due to stress). If you are relatively healthy and 22 years old then stroke is less likely. If your symptoms are present all the time then I would get MRI brain to rule out any structural cause such as tumor or infection causing the symptoms. MRI brain will also help to rule out stroke, and multiple sclerosis. If you are having headaches during the numbness then it is likely migraine with aura. Please feel free to ask any questions. Take care.

My father is aged 55 yrs. He suffered from a mild stroke and his right side of the hand and leg is not functioning. Can be recover. Wat sud we do I mean follow the treatment to bring him back to normal. How much time will it take to recover. Is there any danger to his lyf in future.

MBBS, MCH Neurosurgery
Neurosurgeon, Hisar
Recovery after stroke occurs gradually .He should consult the neurologist and take the medicines regularly and do aggressive physiotherapy by good physiotherapist. Generally recovery takes a long time and sometimes it is incomplete. If there is recurrence then there is danger to life. I wish him good health and recovery.

Dear sir I am 23 I had seizure last week twice in a day then I started taking allopathy medicine can I shift completely to ayurveda totally so tat I can come out allopathy because allopathy medicine is giving me very much side effects.

MD - Internal Medicine
General Physician, Khammam
Hello do not stop your seizure medications for yourself as it can provoke a seizure. Newer antiseizure medications have least side effects except for drowsiness. I suggest you to continue allopathic medications. Consult your doctor and discuss about the side effects if required they may change the drug. Take care.

Migraine headaches are intense or severe and often have accompanying symptoms in addition to head pain. Symptoms associated with a migraine headache include: nausea pain behind one eye or ear pain in the temples seeing spots or flashing lights sensitivity to light and/or sound temporary vision loss vomiting Migraine headaches are typically divided into two categories: migraine with aura and migraine without aura. An “aura” refers to sensations a person experiences before he or she gets a migraine. The sensations typically occur anywhere from 10 to 30 minutes before attack.
