Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front.

Dear anis, ointments or tablets will not reduce pain permanantly. I suggesr you to go for ultrasonic therapy to reduce pain faster. And do back strengthening excercises like lying flat on back. Raising leg 10 times sliding legs in straight position. You see the difference in a week.

Hi back pain is most commonly due to bad posture or an injury to the structures in the spine. Take bed rest for 2 to 3 days. Avoid two wheeler as it puts lot of strain on the spine. Take some physiotherapy help and learn about good posture and back strengthening exercises. It is better to see a spine specialist if pain persists.

Good evening sir Am 29 years old guy and unmarried, Am feeling pain at lower back. Its no much, but when I sit at least 30 min am feeling discomfort at my lower back, In bend over position also, the same discomfort raises. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain.

Serious back pain suggests that there's either intervertebral gap reduction or osteophytes or other reason resulting in compression somewhere. X-ray are needed of Lumbo-sacral spine. Till then keep muscles relaxed by hot water bath and muscle relaxant oils. Pain killers won't be the right choice regularly. Pl inform reports. Till then pl drink pure turmeric in milk twice a day. Nycanthes tree leaves (Harsingar) juice or decoction would be of much relief. After knowing the cause n history, I ll advise you proper treatment for 4 to eight weeks.

According to ayurveda you r suffering from sandhi vata. Here I can only advise u. Massage with mahanarayan tail on affected parts followed by light fomentation. Multivitamin and calcium supplements daily.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines 1.Rhus Tox 30 ( 4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week 2.Calci Aid ( Bakson) ( 2tabs) thrice a day for a week and revert. Keep a gap of 15 - 20 minutes in both the medicines.

Hi self-management may include using ice, stretching, wearing proper footwear and altering training (exercise) methods. Ice should be applied prior to and following activity for approximately 20 minutes. Try using a frozen bottle of water and gently rolling it under the arch and heel.

I am 59 years old. In hip joint blood clocked. I have taken medicine in 1988 for a six months. After that nearly 8 to 10 years I have no pain. Nowadays once/twice in a month pain is coming. I am not taking any medicians.

Do consult nearest orthopaedician asap may be with previous doctor who gave you treatment for same just take fresh x ray and rule our joint stability and any a vascular necrosis formation or any other pathological problem with blood tests by your orthopaedic surgeon

I am 53 years old. In my work i will be standing for long hours. I also drive Two wheeler for a long distances. Now my problem is I am having severe back ache and I visited few doctors and used the pain relievers and antibiotics but no relief. As per the doctors advise I am sleeping on the floor without pillow. So can you suggest me any medicines from your end for relief.

As your work involve two wheelar drive and standing long hours you should use lower lumber belt to give support while driving as your back gets jerks while driving so it will give support to your back secand you should to isometric exercises for your lowerback and some exercises to improve core muscle strength that will help you .
