Almond milk is also a great way to put on some pounds. Boil milk with almonds, dried figs and dates. Strain the milk and consume it warm every single day for about a month. Do not throw away the boiled almonds, figs and dates. Munch on them to get all the nutrition.

Few diet tips - not to eat fried food items and can eat all green vegetables, moong, chana, dal, rice etc and to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati and to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day and if possible eat eggs on alternate days and if possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla and eat seasonal fruit.

It is a fungal infection which is causing itching. You need to apply anti fungal medicine and take an oral tablet as well. It is a very common problem, applying itch guard will also help. It will take a week to go. Do not wear synthetic undergarment. Wear cotton with comfort fit.

7 Ways to Get Rid of Mouth Sores

One of the irritating conditions that can affect the mouth of a person is sores, which can be quite painful. These sores can affect anyone of any age group or gender. Sores may make it difficult for a person to eat, speak or even swallow. Here are a few ways through which you can get rid of mouth sores quickly or at least alleviate the symptoms to lessen the pain:

1. Topical Products - There are various types of creams and lotions which are available in the market as over the counter drugs for treating or at least lessening the symptoms of mouth sores. Some of the common chemicals used to treat the sores are Fluocinonide, Benzocaine and Hydrogen peroxide.

2. Food and nutritional supplements - In many cases the sores are caused within the body due to deficiency of nutrients such as Zinc, Vitamin B12 or B6 and the doctor may prescribe special medications to supplement the need for those within the body.

3. Rinses - Certain special types of oral rinses are prescribed by the doctors when treating mouth sores. Most of the rinses prescribed by the doctors have a steroid, namely dexamethasone, which proves to be effective in the treatment of mouth sores.

4. Cauterizing or destroying sores - In certain cases where topical or oral treatments haven't worked it may be necessary to correct it by cauterizing or using a special device to burn and destroy the sore so that new tissues can grow in its place.

5. Oral medications - Certain oral medications may be prescribed for sores which are caused due to underlying physical conditions such as ulcers.

6. Avoiding spicy food - Spicy foods are also a leading cause for canker sores as it may cause chemical imbalances within the stomach as well as inside the mouth and hence should be avoided as much as possible.

7. Improving general oral hygiene - Regular brushing, flossing, and proper oral care will definitely reduce the chances of getting oral sores.

My wife is 26 years old. She is suffering from headache from last 7-8 years. A little pressure on mind or even concentration on her work lead to headache. First she start getting burps. After sometime she develops feeling of uneasiness. Then she get severe pain in one side on head, sometimes left, sometimes right. If she tries to get a little sleep, her headache becomes more severe. The only way to get relief is to have a painkiller and then sleep afterwards. These headaches occur almost once or twice every week. Please provide a good solution to get rid of the headache.

Dear Lybrateuser, - At your age if your BP, ECG & other parameters are normal then your problem could be due to acidity - avoid spicy, fried & junk food, also restrict tea & coffee intake to 1-2 cups per day, avoid alcohol & tobacco - do not skip meals, have meals on time, chew your food well, do not lye down for about an hour after meals, have dinner 2-3 hrs before bedtime - have 7-8 glasses of water per day for proper digestion - take syrup gelusil, 2 teaspoonful three times a day half an hour after meals - also do regular exercise including yoga & deep breathing for 5-10 min daily morning.

Follow few basic things so that you get better results in short period of time 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day. 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals 3) don’t drink water one hour before meals and one hour after meal 4) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, fermented and stale foods. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits . 6) do anuloma viloma pranayam regularly early in the morning. A) TAKE 30 ml of divya shawasari pravahi (PATANJALI AYURVEDA) along with 30 ml of lukewarm water after meals, early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 2 tablets of SWAS-KASA-CHINTAMANI RASA, early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. C) take 2-2 tablets of sutshekhar rasa and aarogyawardhini vati after meals. Do all these things for 30 days. This formulation of treatment is effective.

Hi. Hyperhidrosis is a condition characterized by abnormally increased sweating, in excess of that required for regulation of body temperature. It can be associated with a significant quality of life burden from a psychological, emotional, and social perspective. Hyperhidrosis can either be generalized, or localized to specific parts of the body. Hands, feet, armpits, and the groin area are among the most active regions of perspiration due to the high number of sweat glands in these areas. When excessive sweating is localized (e.g. Palms, soles, face, underarms, scalp) it is referred to as primary hyperhidrosis or focal hyperhidrosis. Excessive sweating involving the whole body is termed generalized hyperhidrosis or secondary hyperhidrosis. It is usually the result of some other, underlying condition. The cause of primary hyperhidrosis is unknown, although some physicians claim it is caused by overactivity of the sympathetic nervous system. Anxiety or excitement can exacerbate the condition for many sufferers. A common complaint of patients is they get nervous because they sweat, then sweat more because they are nervous. Other factors can play a role, including certain foods and drinks, nicotine, coffee-intake, caffeine, and smells. Overweight people sweat more profusely than normal-weight individuals because fat acts as an insulator that raises core temperature. Some things are in your control when it comes to sweating. Not all excessive sweating is weight-related. But even if your sweating has another cause, getting to a healthy weight is a good idea. Other causes are: A hot and humid environment and exercise are the most obvious causes of sweating. Additional factors that contribute to excessive sweating include alcohol, caffeine, medications and spicy foods. Conditions such as fever, menopause, overactive thyroid, low blood sugar and cancer can lead to excessive sweating. Emotional triggers such as stress, anxiety, anger, fear and embarrassment can contribute to this condition. Diets that include spicy food also might have lots of calories and fat, contributing to both extra pounds and excessive sweating. Being overweight often leads to low self-esteem and lack of confidence in social situations, which can lead to higher stress levels and more sweating. Losing weight can help correct the emotional affects and higher sweat levels. Don't assume your excessive sweating is attributable solely to excess weight. Sweating can be a sign of medical problem, so get yourself thoroughly examined by a doctor with required investigations to be done. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicine- Silicea 30 and Bacopa Monierri 1x - both thrice daily for 4 weeks.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.
