Dear lybrate-user, First take treatment for coughing and sneezing, second, stress incontinence should also be evaluated. Check for urinary infection especially if you had menopause. As well get a Ultrasound pelvis or gyne opinion.

I am 28 years. I have chronic cough. The cough eases when I use expectorants but breathlessness persists. I can't even walk faster or ride ladders.

DAA, DNB
Pulmonologist, Bangalore
Hi. I understand your concerns. You might be having asthma. Asthma is chronic and a common problem causing symptoms. You will need to undergo a detailed examination and investigations like chest x ray to look for infection. If it's normal then you will need to undergo pulmonary function test which is needed for diagnosis and also to assess severity of asthma based on which treatemnt can be started. Consult a pulmonologist for the same.

I am suffering from tb. How does it transmit ?whether it transmit to my husband by intercourse?

PDDM, MHA, MBBS
General Physician, Nashik
When people with TB in their lungs or throat cough, laugh, sneeze, sing, or even talk, the germs that cause TB may be spread into the air. If another person breathes in these germs there is a chance that they will become infected.

MD Paediatrics, MBBS
Pediatrician, Hyderabad
As a parent of asthmatic child there are few precautions to be followed apart from giving medications. Avoid child getting exposed to very cold air/breeze, avoid dust (roads, construction areas, while cleaning home) avoid wollen clothes or hairy cloths or beddings, avoid artificial colours, flavours. Be extra cautious in winter and rainy seasons. Always keep inhalers and medications related to asthma even if you are travelling.

I get sneezing everyday in the morning. I have tonsils too. Which type of diet I should take to prevent my tonsils.

MS - ENT
Ear-Nose-Throat (ENT) Specialist, Rajkot
I think you may have allergic rhinitis, most probably dust allergy. Try to avoid dust. Dust particles mostly present in our bed sheet. Wash it in warm water at every 1 week and dry it in sun light for whole day. Try to use plastic cover for pillow. You will feel great relief. To prevent tonsils problem, avoid freez cold things. Take more fruits and vegetables. If you have still some query, feel free to ask me.

I'm having cough from last two days so I want to know how can I use honey to get relief from it?

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
Drinking tea or warm lemon water mixed with honey is a time-honored way to soothe a sore throat. But honey alone may be an effective cough suppressant, too. In one study, children age 2 and older with upper respiratory tract infections were given up to 2 teaspoons (10 milliliters) of honey at bedtime.

I have cough since last 2 weeks I check up for doctor but nothings happen please help me.

MBBS
General Physician,
You may have allergic bronchitis which may be due to viral also. Do warm saline gargle regularly regularly. Have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin c thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection. You may have a tab of cetrezine as and when required. It will be alright.
