Can you kindly tell me where exactly were you bitten by your brother? and maybe you can send a clinical picture of that area? you have actually mentioned inability in lifting things, is that due to pain or weakness of muscles. See what we have to rule out is whether there is any nerve injury of any kinds which usually does not happen in bites etc? I might have to see a neurological (motor and sensory) examination of your involved limb preferably done by a good physical therapist so that I can understand the situation. Also tell me whether any tests have been done to establish a diagnosis. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

It should be excessive exertion to the joint and muscle. You should reduce the practice time for sometime and do the knee, hip and ankle strengthening exercises. And take calcium tablet for 1 to 2 month.

Have you ever felt pain in your great toe or may be ankle/foot/knee/heel/wrist/elbow which was intially in one joint and over the time involved other joints too. Then you might be having increased uric acid levels. Diet is important in such patients. Consume food less in purine content like cornflakes, white bread, pasta, flour, milk and its products, eggs, lettuce, tomatoes, green veggies and fruit juices. Strict no to all high purine foods like meats, seafood, beas, peas, lentils, spinach, cauliflower, mushrooms, beer and other alcoholic beverages.

It may be hernia. If your testes is swollen or there is a lump then please don't ignore it, get urself examined by an urologist as soon as possible.

Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area.

Hi , first and foremost eat nutritious and balanced diet, remember you need proteins, calcium and adequate fat for good musculoskeletal health along with easy to follow and functional exs programme. Swimming is an ideal exercise for u, but if you don't have access I would suggest walking to begin with in d morning sun, hydrate yourself well, good posture and following back ergonomics.

First of all you should take rest for 1-2 days so that your body can fight with underlying infection with its full immunity and start the below medication:- take gelesemium 200, twice daily. Take eupatrium perf 200, 5 drops thrice daily. Take antifebrinum 3x, 2 tabs, thrice daily. Take alfavena malt, 1 tsf, thrice daily. Drink lots of water and take light homemade food like dalia and khichdi, avoid oily, spicy, fried, junk and cold drinks. In case of high uncontrollable fever, don't panic you should do cold sponging to lower down the temperature. If fever does not goes then go for a set of blood tests. Revert me with feedback. Take care of your health. Good day.

- there overactivoty of calf muscles and could be low sodium potassium level. - do stretching of calf muscles and knee exrcises with hot water fermentation. - for stretching and exercises u can search in utube( isometrics of knee , calf stretching) - u can also take homeo or aurvedic to releif pain along physiotherapy

Myt be DOMS the reason. You should apply hot pack and do some stretching of tendon Achilles muscles before running. What you have to do for stretching is stand on your toes -try to hold fr 10 secs, repeat 10 times. All I wannna say. Involve warm-up activities prior running.

Hi lybrate-user. I advise you to quit smoking at the earliest as it is seriously bad for your overall health. There is no answer to why everyone smokes inspite of it being injurious and rather than focussing on others, you should care for yourself. Smoking precipitates not only back pain but affects the whole body. Back pain is a broad condition and can be due to plenty of factors like occupational and postural stressors, muscle weakness and imbalances, nutritional deficiencies, certain bone related diseases, lack of exercises and/or due to combination of these factors. I opine you to get yourself checked by an orthopedic doctor or physiotherapist to first detect the cause of back pain and then take appropriate measures to curb the same. Also note that proper rest, good nutrition and positive mental attitude generally has a positive effect on all sorts of back pain.

This is common in females particularly who have weak abdominal muscles, excess weight. Try deep breathing exercises and usg massages.

My heel is paining very badly because of spur grow what should I do now can not stand half an hour.
Calcaneal spur is very common heel pain complain that I am observing in my daily practice. And do understand how stabbing pain is. Please follow some precautions and treatment plan to get rid of it. If possible please visit any nearby physio and start taking our physio modalities like ust, laser and faradism which has very good results in such pain. In the meantime please follow the precautions and care at home to decrease pain level. 1) give rest to your foot. 2) avoid bare foot walking. 3) avoid heel walking which normally people do when get up early in morning. 4) wear proper arch support shoes which should have heel cups or cushion to the heel in order to reduce direct pressure. 5) avoid prolong standing. 6) avoid standing while putting direct pressure on foot like one leg standing, jumping etc. 7) take healthy diet to keep you fit. 8) drink plenty of water in a day. Care at home: one of the best result in calcaneal spur is because of contrast bath and ultrasonic therapy. At home you can take hot and cold fermentation apply ice for 3 min and then hot for 2 min. There is very good result of both applications together. After 3 days of taking contrast therapy you can make the ice and hot ratio as 1: 1 mean one min cold and then one min hot. Start with hot pack and ends with cold. Take it for 15-18 min thrice a day for early recovery. Please make sure it should not be too hot or too cold. 2) slightly massage using your 2 fingers over the painful area. 3) exercises like toe dorsi/plantar flexion, calf stretching, place a rubber ball under your foot and roll that slightly which strengthen your plantar fasica. If pain is very severe then wear plantar fascia strap/band while walking. For any doubts please contact. Regards.

This is a general strain due to excessive walking or standing and for this you can follow these measures: one keep a pillow right under the knee while sleeping, next is you can keep ice in the painful area for about 5--10 minutes. One time you can do hot water fermentation that would help to reduce the muscle strain.
