Hi Piyush, Gentle massage over the affected part with lukewarm herbal Pain relieving oil for 20 minutes followed by hot fomentation. it will relax the muscles and the veins of ur affected part improving the blood supply to the organ and giving strength to it. Please avoid over-use of the part affected i.e. lifting weight - pushing or pulling heavy objects. Give proper rest to the part - let it heal with the time. This will greatly help. Although some herbal medicines might also help you but after proper history taking. For that u may consult me privately over Lyberate. Please update with ur valuable feedback after 15 days.

Contrast bath---It is a form of treatment where a limb or the entire body is immersed in warm water followed by the immediate immersion of the limb or body in ice water. This procedure is repeated several times, alternating hot and cold. Note that the treatment should always end in the ice water, as heat will induce the body's inflammatory response, while cold helps to decrease inflammation. Gentle Stretching of Hand Muscles. Ball exercises. Wrist Exerciser.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Is it many fingers or one finger. It can be trigger finger. Put your hand in warm water and do finger movts.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and For loosemotions drink ors solution and to stop the frequency of motions take capsule roko and Avoid spicy food in your diet and eat only curd rice or khichdi and if necessary we should take prescribed antibiotics

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana -- lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day. Avoid junk food. Spicy food. Fermented food. Tea. Alcohol. Avoid alcohol consumption. Do pranayama early morning.

Dear sir, I reside in electronic city, bangalore. My mother is 69 years old and has complains of acidity. She also complains thrubbing pain in her knees in the night. I would request a guidance for her treatment.

She would probably have osteoarthritis of knees at her age, the question is how severe. We need x rays of both knees ap and lateral views for the same. Also get vitamin d levels and uric acid levels. Painkiller wise we can' t give her anything strong because of her acidity, we can however give her some medications to improve the lubrication of the joint or some injections into the joint for the same. The above however are only effective if her arthritis is mild to moderate, if it is severe she will need a knee replacement.

Hi I can understand your problem 1) avoid activities that make your symptoms worse 2) apply ice packs 3) start physiotherapy treatment as electrotherapy will reduce pain inflammation 4) exercise and manual therapy will help in pain free movement. Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. This pain in rib cage can be a reflection of your bronchitis condition. Your shoulder pain can be due to degeneration setting in joint. You can start with: 1) physical therapy for shoulder in presence of a good physiotherapist initially 2) you can take short course of anti-inflammatory medications as per your suitability 3) ice packs for 4-5 days ( 10-15 min every 2-3 hours) if it does not help, then please let me know and we might get some x rays done for you. Hello Dr, I am 22 year old male. I do swimming, jogging regularly. Apparently I've stopped all of my physical activities for the past 1 month because I've started getting lower back stiffness, to get rid of that, I need to break knuckles at that part regardless of anything like TIME, place etc. By doing this regularly I've started getting Lower back pain for the past few weeks. My mom is a known patient of osteoporosis, so urging myself I went to take DEXA for determining my bone mineral density, result was AP SPINE L1-L4 MEAN DENSITY OF 0.946gm/cm² corresponding to a t score of - 2.3.Dual femur mean density of 0.916gm/cm²,corresponding to a t score of - 1.3.I Consulted some physicians here, they are carelessly saying that I'm perfectly fine by considering my age, mean while other one is saying that I've not attained my peak bone density growth. I'm a medical student, having few knowledge I don't know what to believe and what not to believe. I'll be so thankful if someone tell me what exactly is happening in my body. And my body fat percentage is 37%that means I need to put myself in obese category, but my hip size is jus 34 inch and I've never felt I'm over weighted person. Please help me doctors.

Hi arun! I could see a healthy champ that you exercise regularly. Your age and healthy lifestyle won't let you down. No worries please. You just think about the activities that you have done before the exact pain started like heavy weight lift, jump from height, sudden fall. If your back pain is the same or severing from the time it started you may be repeatedly injuring the spot which is the source of pain. Please note the time you get severe pain in a day, how it gets reduced with position and time, what movements are possible and not possible in your back because pain, check for change in sleeping surface (like change in bed), sleeping position, amount of workload or work time you spend in a day. After noting all these aspects consult a qualified physiotherapist he/she may help in finding the cause and treatment.

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movement. We remain seated most of the time and stand for very short periods of time. Unfortunately walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. Most importantly if you are overweight then losing weight is an important part of the whole treatment plan .Long term use of painkillers for low back pain is harmful Treatment for back pain:- Homeopathic medicines are very helpful. They not only treat the acute stages but are also used for the treatment of chronic back pain.Selection of the exact remedy depends upon the individual symptoms of the person.So share the complete symptom picture for the proper treament. In the mean time take Arnica 200, 3 drops in the morning and Rhus tox. 200, 3 drops at night for 7 days.Take care.
