Kindly consult a dentist in person for further suggestion. We need more investigations to decide upon treatment. You may need artificial enamel filling or root canal treatment. Advance procedures are done with lasers too. You may consult me in person too. Dental tips: - visit a dentist every six months. Gargle your mouth thoroughly after every meal. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

I am a 20 year old male. I am going through dental sensitivity, PERIODONTAL bone disease was found in X ray.
Most probably it may be due to deposits on teeth. I would advice you to go for regular cleaning of teeth as periodontal bone loss is easy and cheap to prevent as compared to curative treatment. You are young and need to take care of your teeth for them to serve you longer.

I am 34 yrs old. I have problem of bad breath. I dont have any dental issue. What could be the reason?

I am 34 yrs old. I have problem of bad breath. I dont have any dental issue. What could be the reason?
Bad breath can be reduced or prevented if you: practice good oral hygiene. Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque. Don't forget to brush the tongue, too. Replace your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months or after an illness. Use floss or an interdental cleaner to remove food particles and plaque between teeth once a day. See your dentist regularly -- at least twice a year. He or she will conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and will be able to detect and treat periodontal disease, dry mouth, or other problems that may be the cause of bad mouth odor. Drink lots of water. This will keep your mouth moist. Chewing gum (preferably sugarless) stimulates the production of saliva, which helps wash away food particles and bacteria.

I am 32 years old lady. I have a cavity in my wisdom tooth. Can this be filled instead of removing as two of my hind teeth had been already removed and I have heard that removing of teeth makes eye sight weak. My eyes are already weak. So what shall I do?

MDS
Dentist, Kota
There is no relation between extraction of tooth and eye sight. Cavity in the wisdom tooth can be filled if the tooth is in self cleansing area. But if filling of the tooth wont help you much then extraction is the solution.

My teeth are becoming yellowish though I brush twice daily. What should I do to stop this yellowing?

DHMS (Diploma in Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery)

My teeth are becoming yellowish though I brush twice daily. What should I do to stop this yellowing?
There are many causes of yellow or discolored teeth. A few of the most common: 1.Drinks: Coffee and red wine cause major damage to teeth.. But other drinks with high acidity, such as soda, juices and even sports drinks can cause staining on the teeth. Even white wine is not far behind in staining our teeth yellow, because its tannins and acidic nature wear away at the tooth enamel. These Acidic drinks lowers the Ph of teeth below 6 thus causing corrosive wear and tear of teeths. 2.Certain Foods: Colored candies, popsicles and other bright foods can cause staining over time. Think of it this way – if your tongue turns a bright shade of blue, chances are your teeth are getting some of that discoloration, too. Even healthy foods such as berries (blueberries, cranberries, raspberries) can stain teeth. Ketchup, curry and other sauces can cause staining problems over time, too. 3,Natural Aging Process: Quite simply, teeth yellow over time. It’s a natural part of the aging process that the white protective coatings wear down over time. So the longer you have your teeth, the more likely they are to become yellow or discolored. 4.Most of us are guilty of at least some of the above (and none of us can stop time). But the good news is that even if red wine is one of your vices and your teeth look yellower lately, there are things you can do to bring back the white. 5.How to make Teeth white (a)Avoid Certain Foods/Drinks When Possible: We’re not asking you to give up your morning coffee, just to reduce the intake of the above foods as much as possible. Sometimes simply being aware can help us make better choices. (b)Drink Water: After you’ve consumed a tooth-staining food or drink try to immediately follow it with a glass of water. Swirling water around your mouth can drastically help clear away the acids or staining. This simple step is free and easy, and can drastically help reduce tooth discoloration. (c)Proper Dental Hygiene: Proper brushing, flossing and regular dental checkups help keep teeth healthy for a lifetime. Develop these habits early and you’re less likely to have dental problems down the line. (d)Teeth Whitening: The good news is that there are many options available to whiten teeth. Some can be done at home while others can take help of Homoeopathic medicines. Homoeopathic medicine HEKLA LAVA TOOTH POWDER ( WHEEZAL) Scrub teeth daily night RINSEOUT ( SBL) Gargles 20 drops in 20 ml luke warm water.Gargles 3 times daily while holding water for 20 seconds in mouth esp.after meals.

Sir, I am 54 and strong. However, my teeth are becoming very sensitive to cold-drinks and weak to bite hard stuff like bones, etc. Kindly advice.

BDS
Dentist, Vadodara
As per your complain it likes to be generalized attrition shayd apke sare dat uppar se ghis gae lagte hain due to aging or habit of bruxism and tobacco products chewing. The other reason is effect due to severe heavy hard brushing causing wearing of teeth leads to sensitivity use Colgate sensitive pro relief and ch-x mouthwash for 1 month if it still persist then go for full mouth rehabilitation in which doctor does rct in all your hypersensitive teeth followed by capping.

Earache is the referred pain can be coz of tooth infection. Maximum time posterior most tooth is involved. Other reason is jaw joint problem in which jaw muscle get tense and cause pain around the ear. My advise is to consult a dentist for proper diagnosis. Other reasons can be -wisdom tooth problem. -deep cavity in last tooth. Senquel -ad mouthwash and colgate pro relief toothpaste he has to use toothpaste and mouthwash is not the solution.
