My one and half year old daughter is medically situs inversion case. I want to know there will be all ok in future ? ...
There will not be any problem. However you send me her echo report and other reports/privately. Situs inversus (also called situs transversus or oppositus) is a congenital condition in which the major visceral organs are reversed or mirrored from their normal positions. The normal arrangement of internal organs is known as situs solitus while situs inversus is generally the mirror image of situs solitus. Although cardiac problems are more common than in the general population, most people with situs inversus have no medical symptoms or complications resulting from the condition, and until the advent of modern medicine it was usually undiagnosed.

Like showing playcards of glenn domen concept (downloadable from web), give blocks to play, drawing painting, singing, music, playing more n more with peer group, dancing, activity in splash pool might help. This can be solved at greater level with" pediatric developmental physician if you have any in your vicinity. Feel free to contact again.

The baby should be kept away from dogs. Dogs should always be in supervision. They may bite or pass infection or cause allergy. Prevention of rabies in dogs be done by vaccination.

4 Worst Foods Ever To Feed Your Baby! #ParentingBlunders

4 Worst Foods Ever To Feed Your Baby! #ParentingBlunders
4 worst foods to feed your baby

At the point when your child is around six months old, you can acquaint him with a variety of foods. Giving your child a solid, balanced diet will guarantee he has the vitamins and supplements he/she needs to develop.

Do not get into the easy trap of feeding junk to make the kids happy. Never give your child foods that are high in sugar or salt. These foods are low in vital supplements and it's easy for your child to feel full after eating them, leaving less space for healthy meals.
So which foods and drinks should you limit as your baby grows?

Below is the list of the worst foods to feed your child.

1. Crisps and Crackers: Crisps and crackers are typically high in salt. Babies require just a little measure of salt: under 1g (0.4g sodium) a day until they are 12 months old. Your child's kidneys can't adapt to more salt than this, so it’s best to avoid crisps and crackers.

2. Fizzy Drinks: These beverages come with zero health benefits, and their acidic nature can harm your infant's developing teeth. Also some fizzy beverages contain caffeine, which can make your child jittery and disturb his/her sleeping patterns, giving him/her a headache as a result.
All your infant needs to drink is milk. Likewise, sugary beverages are high in calories, and can make your child overweight in toddlerhood, if given to him/her regularly.

3. Fruit Juice: Fruit juice may sound like something very healthy. However, it's advised not to give your infant fruit juice for the same reason as you should avoid soft drinks and sodas. Fruit juices are high in natural sugars and are acidic, which means they can harm your infant's teeth.
Water and breastmilk are the most suitable beverages for your infant until he's one year old.
Milk contains essential minerals and vitamins, for example, calcium, vitamin B2, and vitamin B12, which are essential for your baby’s proper growth and development.

4. Sweets and Chocolates: High sugar foods such as desserts and chocolates means are best avoided. Sugar creates acid in your child’s mouth and attacks his enamel, causing cavities and consequently tooth decay.

However, if you want to give your child sweets, feed them to him/her during meal time. The amount of saliva in the mouths increases while eating a meals. Saliva, being a natural antiseptic, neutralises the effects of the enamel attacking acid produced by these sugary delights.

It's due to nld block, we used to say naasoor in local language. It's because a nasolacrimal duct might be blocked or narrow or underdeveloped. You can consult eye specialist to learn how to do nld massage. Antibiotics eye drops will help temporarily. If problem persist, nld probing or syringing would be the final treatment after 12 months of age. Best wishes.

My baby of 2 months is getting water 5 to 6 times in her left eye. Can I use ciplox eye drop for tat? Wats the reason...
It could be some infection or blockage of lacrimal duct. Put 2 drops of breast milk in each eye and carfully massage the medial side of eye downwards over the lateral side of nose. Do this twice daily and you can also use ciplox drops 3-4 times a day in both eyes.

My baby poop contains little gum. It's also green. Please tell me what is the reason?
Green poop is indicative of acidic stools, and can also mean infection. Some babies on formula feed can have this kind of poop. Please provide more info on what food/milk your baby is eating, or if there has been a recent change in eating habits.

breast milk is critical to their baby’s bone development, mothers should be sure to have enough calcium, or risk bone loss in her mouth, which can worsen periodontal diseases.

Audiogram. And several test are used to assess the cause and plan the treatment Several methods can be used to test hearing, depending on a child's age, development, and health status. Behavioral tests involve careful observation of a child's behavioral response to sounds like calibrated speech and pure tones. Pure tones are the distinct pitches (frequencies) of sounds. Sometimes other calibrated signals are used to obtain frequency information.

C.S.C, D.C.H, M.B.B.S
General Physician,
VITAMIN D DEFICIENCY -RICKETS

Rickets causes muscles and bones to become soft, which can cause permanent deformities in children. It is most common in children and infants who have a poor diet or who are housebound, but is nowadays relatively rare in developed countries. Breast-fed babies are at higher risk if they or their mothers do not take in enough sunlight, and baby formula is now designed to prevent this. Rickets is caused by a lack of vitamin D or of calcium. Vitamin D is required for calcium to be properly absorbed into bones to strengthen them. Adults rarely develop rickets because their bones are not growing and do not need much calcium. Vitamin D itself is obtained from many foods but the body can only use it if it has been converted into its active form via sunlight. In recent years there has been a slight increase in children with rickets possibly due to too many of them staying indoors.

Fever is a symptom not disease. Fever for more than week require proper examination and investigation. With wbc count, its differential count is equally important. Get his urine r/e too. It is nice that pediatrician is looking after your baby.

This is a common problen is newborns as there nasal passage is very narrow, its prone for blockage very easily. I would suggest you to use normal saline drops 2 drops each nostril 4-5 times a day to keep the nostrils clean and prevent blockage. No other medications required.
