Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Shoulder pain can be due to multiple reasons, so it can be due to an injury like a soft tissue one, bony injury, tendinitis, bursitis etc if there is no h/o any injury to the affected shoulder and there are no s/s of inflammation or infection like swelling, skin redness or local warmth etc, my advice to you initially will be: ice packs at home, restriction/modification of physical activity, local analgesic spray for application, gentle anti inflammatory medication which suits you and see how it goes for next 7-10 days. Normally most pains settle down with decrease in inflammation, in the event your pain persists or increases we will have to get some investigations done for further evaluation. I have been prescribed Maxgalin M 75 twice a day n Dulane 30 once for fibromyalgia. As well as nervijen plus injection once a month. It is since a year I am taking. Have I to take life long all these medicines. Is fibromyalgia related to thyroid as I am having thyroid also.

It is not related to thyroid. Atleast for 2 to 3 years you have to take if you are getting relief with medicines. Hope that by that time we might be able to solve your problem with proper medical insight for fibromyalgia.

Most leg pain results from wear and tear, overuse, or injuries in joints or bones or in muscles, ligaments, tendons or other soft tissues. Leg pain can also be caused by blood clots, varicose veins or poor circulation. To relieve mild pain: stay off your leg as much as possible apply an ice pack or bag of frozen peas to the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes three times a day elevate your leg whenever you sit or lie down please go to a physiotherapist if: you have pain during or after walking you have swelling in both legs your pain gets worse your symptoms don't improve after a few days of home treatment you have painful varicose veins if you feel the pain is from muscle cramp then you need to drink a lot of water because poor fluid intake (dehydration) may predispose to cramps also low blood levels of either calcium or magnesium directly cause cramps. Also check your vit d level.

Hot Fomentation. Gentle Shoulder Stretching. Core Strengthening Exercises. Gentle Neck Exercises. Avoid sleeping on affected side.. Warm up and cool down is a must.

I am 37 years man lecturing is my profession. I teach daily one to two hours. However, I have leg pain in both legs. It tends to me to sit always which I do not like. The pain is around lower part of the feet and also at calf muscles. The pain is more evident when I walk in bare footed. When I sit will keep my legs rested horizontally. The uric acid level in blood is normal. And some days when I woke up the foot is paining when I start to walk. The pain killers gives short time relief but the pain is impending for many years without any clear solution. So what could be reason for the pain and its solution please suggest.

Calf Stretches Standing calf stretch Stand away from a wall and.put your fight foot behind you and be sure your toes are facing forward. Lean forward at the ankle while bending the right knee and keeping your heel on the ground. Hold this for 30 to 60 seconds. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Downward dog yoga stretch Get down on all fours with your hands under your shoulders on the floor. Walk your hands forward slightly on the floor. Spread your fingers apart to allow for a broad base of support. Push your hips up toward the ceiling and tighten your abdominal muscles. Keep your heels on the ground and gently try and straighten your knees. Repeat 10 times a twice a day. Wall calf stretch Stand about two feet away from a wall. Place the ball of your right foot against the wall while your heel remains on the ground. Slowly and gently lean into the wall while keeping your knee straight. Hold this for 5 seconds. Repeat 10 times twice a day.

Elbow Pain Apply ice in the painful area which would definitely help to greater extent. And you can wear elbow brace which would help you to keep your elbow warm and will give you protection. In physiotherapy we can do UST and SWD are IRR.

Hello, please send me your all investigation report to rule out increased or decreased level of uric acid or anything else. This is may be due to overweight or deficiency of vitamin d3 and calcium or due to poor posture. Till then follow these advises:- 1. Take calcium supplements and sun bath daily to prevent further damage to your joints. 2. Avoid heavy lifting. 3. Avoid squatting and weight bearing activities. 4. Use western toilet. 5. Wear shock absorbing, good quality of shoes while walking. 6. Keep roll of a towel under your knees while sleeping. 7. Perform some gentle exercises and stretching of your all joints before getting out of your bed. 8. Walk straight with shoulder protracted. 9. Perform deep breathing exercises or yoga for proper functioning of lungs. I can explain you stiffness and pain reducing techniques, if interested. Wish you a happy and pain free life thanks.

Do regular yoga and exercise to strngthen your back muscles. Always maintain your posture. Sit erect. Do not sit for longer duuration at one place. Walking for 5 minutes, stretching a little every hour or two will help you a great deal. Avoid heavy weight lifting. You can also take calcium supplements for 3 months. Use ortho friendly mattress to sleep. Youe uncomfortable mattress may be causing pain to you so check that first.

Dengue has four different strains. So if you get infected by one strain type then the possibility is that you can get affected again by a different strain. However this time around the dengue outbreak is not as worse as compared to last year. Plain viral fever is on the rise and mimics symptoms of dengue. Get yourself tested properly to rule out all possibilities. Take plenty of fluids.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day..
