Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do Knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

lybrate-user it seems from your description of symtomes and medicines she is taking, she is suffering from Rheumatoid arthritis, R A disease is autoimune disorder, sometime our body fails to recognise its own protein. It start producing antibody resulting in immune complex production which destroythe own joints .here the normal defence mechanism is hampered. Only Homeopathy can cause immunomodulation. Are u diabetic? If yes your sugar needs to be controlled first. For the shoulder ull need steroid injections in the joints if ur sugar is normal. This will expediate the return of movements. U will also need physiotherapy along with some anti-inflammatory medicines.

Dear lybrate user de quervain's tendinosis may be caused by overuse. It also is associated with pregnancy and rheumatoid disease. It is most common in middle-aged women but men also suffer from it. go for Ayurveda's Panchkarma Therapy - We have many option for u - Greeva Basti (Specialized procedure for Neck pains), Localised Massgae with Herbal oils, Localised Medicated Steam, Pottali Massage. Continue these procedures for atleast 15 days. Regular oiling of the joint will improve the lubrication also. Hello. You know the reason of your problem. So have a habbit of unfixing your long sittings/standing. Do switch between your posture. Kindly opt for some spinal nd core muscle exercises :) proper diet + routine exercise is all you need! Regards!

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times.

During travelling you have to wear a contour lumbosacral belt. That will provide support to back & prevent your back from any jerk. Hot water formentation. Do back stretching exercises under physiotherapist advice.

Do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch.

Hello Dr, I am facing a set of problems off late though I am not sure if all of them are related. I am 30 year old software employee, married with a 5 year old kid. Back pain and weakness: Blame it on long distance daily to office or wrong postures while doing various things in a day. But end of the day I face lower back pain. Also, extremely tired at end of the day. Sometimes, I pass urine very frequently during the night. Say like 7-8 times with a gap of 5 mns between each time. Lack of concentration: I am unable to concentrate on any work at hand. Say, when if I start reading a book I immediately get distracted and leave the book in middle. This happens in any work I am doing. My mind is constantly changing gears on something else. This is leading to irritation and frequent mood swings which others around me do not understand. Sexual activity: I should admit, at a point of time I was porn addict. Off late I am not able to perform well during intercourse. The erection doesn't long enough. This is leading to embarrassing situations and also taking a toll on my confidence. God forbid, there has not been an adverse impact on my job/relationships thus far. But I am afraid, I am not feeling as confident as I always used to be. Please advice.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. - physiotherapy treatment like ift current can give you some relief. Knee pain is a common complaint that affects people of all ages. Knee pain may be the result of an injury or some other medical conditions including arthritis, patellar tendinitis, acl injury, knee bursitis, torn meniscus, gout and infections. Try some home remedies for your pain- - ice is useful for the control of pain and swelling. It can be applied to the knee for 15 to 20 minutes as often as every two to four hours. The swollen knee should be elevated above the level of the heart while icing. -activities that cause pain should be avoided temporarily. -if the knee is swollen or sore, the following positions and activities should be avoided until knee pain and swelling resolve: squatting kneeling twisting and pivoting jogging aerobics, dancing playing sport specific exercises will help you improve range of motion, strength, and endurance. It is especially important to focus on strengthening and stretching your quadriceps since these muscles are the main stabilizers of your kneecap. Core exercises may also be recommended to strengthen the muscles in your abdomen and lower back. Also maintaining a healthy body weight to avoid overstressing your knees are very important. -a full history of your problems (back and knee pain) should be taken and your movements assessed by a physiotherapist.
