Whenever I eat egg my stomach starts painting a lot. Why is it so? Before when I used to eat egg it wasn't happening though. It has started frm 3 to 4 months.

Hi sir/ madam, I am suffering from heavy headache. I got accident 8 years back now I am OK but sometimes headache Please tell me solution.

1. Take one tablet of crocin advance as and when required after food up to a maximum of 3 tablets daily, 2. Drink plenty of water 3. Take adequate rest 4. Have adequate sound sleep in the night for 7-8 hours if you have recurrent attack of headache1. It could be a tension headache due to anxiety/stress, depression inadequate sleep, low bp/high bp, migraine, prolonged use of cell phone/computer, chronic anaemia, refractive error, chronic sinusitis, organic brain lesion 2. Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, have adequate sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily in the night 3. Go for regular exercise 4. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5. Check for refractive error, sinusitis hemoglobin, bp 6. Avoid prolonged use of cell phone/computer 7. Consult neurologist to rule out other causes of headache, if required take a ct scan of head to exclude any brain lesion 8. If it is migraine you have to take migraine prophylactic drug after consulting neurologist.

Cut down flu risk through regular exercise

Cold and flu are common problems which spans across all seasons and affects all age groups, kids and elders alike. However a flu or a viral infection leaves you very weak and vulnerable. A good routine of exercise is the easiest way to keep such infections at bay.

Regular exercise plays an important role in building your immunity against a flu infection. If you exercise for a minimum of 2.5 hours every week, your chances of contracting a flu infection are drastically reduced by almost 10 percent. However it is important that you exercise moderately and on a regular basis to protect your body against the flu.

An effective exercise schedule would involve 150 minutes of moderate exercise such as brisk walking, gardening etc every week. This can also be substituted by 75 minutes/week of vigorous exercise which includes running, playing a sport, aerobics etc. And 2 days for muscle strengthening exercises. Incorporate any one of these regimes in your daily schedule and follow them without fail, as they are the most fool-proof method to prepare your body for the fight against the flu virus.

Sometimes when I take a sudden deep breath my left side of the chest near the cardiac region starts paining. I don't know why but the pain is very sharp and persist for few secs to minutes.

Hi there. Mostly according to your symptoms it looks like muscular pain. But chest pain which increases on taking deep breath or on coughing and sneezing warrants a chest x ray as symptoms suggest pleuritic chest pain (pain due to lung conditions) to rule out any lung conditions. But it is certainly not due to heart problem. Please upload your xray if needed and may be I cud help you with that. If severe please see a physician. Take care.

Your problem of early discharge is known as premature ejaculation. Premature ejaculation is the most common sexual problem experienced by man. There are certain techniques, which can help you to stay longer. Kegel exercise is one of the very popular and effective techniques to control premature ejaculation. These are the exercises of pubococcygeus muscles (pc) muscles. A man can do these exercises anytime and anywhere and no one will even know about it. To identify the muscles of your pelvic floor stop your flow of urine next time you go to urinal. Contract the muscles tightly holding for 10 seconds i. E. Stop urinating in between. Do this thrice a day repeating 10 times. The pc muscles control the urine and semen and firmness of your organ during erection, so keeping them strong will increase ejaculatory control. Even while masturbating or doing intercourse you can practice stop and start i. E. Rub for few thrust then stop for a minute and start rubbing again. Just relax on this; it should go away with some time. I have successfully treated patient with pe in the past and hence I know what you are suffering from. There are many causes of this problem, it could be due to many reasons such as hyperthyroidism, it could be due to increased sensitivity of the skin around the sexual organ, excess masturbation habits, but the most common cause is psychological such as low self esteem, anxiety, depression and biological factors. People who have pe often complaint of erectile dysfunction too. The patients whom I have treated in the past with the same disorder have shown remarkable improvement within few days.

I had to get up 4 times in night for urination. It appears that there is little difficulty in urinating. Probably urination tract has shrunk.

There is nothing like shrinkig of urinary tract. You may have a enlarged prostate or some infection in the urine. Get an ultrasound of the abdomen and urine examination.

Dear, it's always good to consume cooked egg instead of raw. Your body denatures the protein anyway, so cooking is good. It allows you to absorb more protein, and there's less risk of salmonella.

It's called as hyperhydroses and is usually due to hyper stimulation of para sympathetic nervous system and apart from taking symptomatic treatment take tablet folvite 5mg once a day and tablet vitamind (60000iu) once a week for six months.

Sir, avoid tv viewing in late nights, mobile games. Go for walking, do yoga, meditation daily. Read some good books before sleeping. Eat good supper.

My sleep is reduced I am not able to sleep at night means I feel sleepy approx 1.30 at nite between that I study in that period and wake up at 8 in d morning dur which I am unable to complete 7 8 hours of sleep.

Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer. If you have tried all these and still have problems, please consult me for prescription medication.

Dear lybrateuser, -Some studies have shown that red wine may be beneficial in preventing heart disease due to the presence of antioxidents in it if taken in recommended quantity but it is not mandatory to start drinking for the not so proven benefits if you don't do so, mostly the drinks only add empty calories to your diet -an overall healthy lifestyle is more important in preventing chronic diseases & other ailments, if one consumes a well balanced diet, does regular exercises, keeps stress to a minimum, has a restful sleep for 7-8 hrs in the night then he has a greater chance of preventing diseases & leading a healthy life, consuming alcohol in any form will not make much of a difference.
