When even I getting fever or body pains usually I take some paracetamol and any pain killers by prescription. But from 2 years I have observed few changes. Paracetamol and anti biotic is not suitable for my body. When I use this content I getting burning sensation in skin. If I use continuous it's getting severe. 8 Foods You Should Never Keep in the Freezer

When it comes to storing foods, we all think that the cooler the temperature it is stored at, longer will be the shelf life. However, what most of us fail to realize is that not all foods need to be stored in a freezer. It can do more harm than good.  Read on to know more about foods that just should not be placed in the freezer.

  1. Potatoes: Given their high water content, storing in a freezer can make them fluffy, bloated and bland, especially if they are put in a freezer after baking. The texture of the potato in the dishes after freezing can also be change.
  2. Milk: While it is common to stash it away in the fridge, remember not to put it in the freezer. When you thaw it, the milk can separate into pieces (curdling) and not be useful to add in your cereal or for your tea. It is best kept outside in the regular cooling area.
  3. Eggs: While eggs can be stored in the fridge, there is no need to put the eggs with the shells in the freezer. The water inside can act up and cause the shell to break, leading to attack from bacteria. The eggs could also crack leaving a mess in the freezer. Remove eggs out of the shell, beat up nicely, and store in an airtight container if at all required (learn more about Having Eggs for Breakfast During SUMMERs).
  4. Milk products: Similar to milk, yoghurt, sour cream and cheese are also best left out of the freezer. The water content will expand and spoil them, leaving behind unhealthy and non-tasty yoghurt or cheese.
  5. Fried Foods: Be it French fries or mozzarella sticks, leaving them in the freezer can leave them soft and doughy. These are best left out of the freezer in order to retain their crunchy crispiness.
  6. Water-rich fruits and vegetables: While the fridge helps in keeping the vegetables and fruits fresh, the freezer does not. With water-rich food substances especially cucumber, lettuce and water melon, the water inside can form ice crystals. When removed from the freezer, during thawing, the water oozes out leaving a non-appealing pile of the fruit/vegetable.
  7. Re-using food items: Be it fruits or vegetables or meat, once thawed to normal temperature, it is best to avoid putting them back in the freezer. Once thawed, they draw a lot more bacteria and germs and are more harmful than the frozen foods. Remove only what is essential for use, thaw it and leave the rest to remain in the freezer.
  8. Salad greens: Frozen salad greens like spinach and lettuce can lose their crispiness, becoming limp and soft. To retain their freshness, stash them wrapped in a paper bag in the fridge.

My kid is 5 months old. Till now he has been given breast milk. We have started formula feed (nestle nan pro 1) one week back. From that time onwards my kid is passing urine in pale yellow and motion in dark green colour. Is this a serious issue?

Hello sir. I am 32 and un-married. I have been masturbating regularly since last 6/ 7 years. I can not stop masturbating. Sir. Recently .I was asked by my neighbour to Repair the waterpipe which is buried underground. I went and started to dig for buried pipe. As approaching the pvc pipe. The pipe is covered by clothes. To cut the clothes I asked scissors. And he take one scissors and gave it to me. I started to cut the clothes. Accidentally scissors injured my left thumb and 6 drops of blood came. And I asked ,where he brought the scissors and he said he took it ftom a tailor. But the Tailor is a HIV positive person. I'm caught with fear &anxiety about infection of HIV to me. Another situation also happened same neighbour took me to give electric connections to motor in his farm. I went there and started to make connections .then a person came to us and joined making connections along with me. And he twisted the copper leads of the wires and gave it to me. Then while plastering the twisted connections made by him one pair of wires connected are separated then I twisted them with my hand. Then the copper leads slightly penetrated into my fingers. The previous twisted person having hiv infection. Again I'm caught with the same fear. Again recently I was taking badam milk from a cool drink vendor who himself makes cooldrinks. While drinking it accidentally my tongue was bitten by me and it was bleed while drinking. And I'm getting thoughts if the vendor is having HIV . I also have the possibility to have the infection . I'm obsessed. I'm fully scared. Kindly help me whether I have probability to have infection if no why. If yes how to I diagnosed. kindly help me with my worry.

Dear lybrate user, I think, for reasons best known to you only, you are scared of getting infected with hiv. It appears to me that it is disturbing you a lot. I think, firstly, give your blood sample in the pathology lab and get yourself checked for hiv. If you are not infected, then you can be at peace. If you are infected with hiv, then you will need to consult a doctor, who will help you to manage your life. Secondly, please consult a counsellor, irrespective of the outcome of your blood test. There is something, which is bothering your mind, which you need to understand. The consellor will help you to do that. Take care.

Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer.

You are 26. First of all let me admit, it would be inappropriate to comment on your question with so less of a detail, but still. Having sexual desires for same sex is a preference. For a 26 year old boy to feel" as if like a female" is a gender identity problem. However the more important thing is feelings of hopelessness and helplessness make one have passive death wishes. You seem to have depression. It would be advisable that you share your problems with whom so over you trust and consult a psychiatrist urgently. Also. Diabetes diet for indians- should have the ratio of 60: 20: 20 for carbs, fats and proteins. Per day calorie intake should be between 1, 500-1, 800 calories with a proportion of 60: 20: 20 between carbohydrates, fats and proteins, respectively. He adds that a diabetes diet should" have at least two seasonal fruits and three vegetables in a diet plan. Though dry fruits may seem like a healthy snack, it is not a good option for diabetics, as the fructose can spike your sugar level. Go for fresh fruits rather than dry fruits for diabetes control (but there are some restrictions. We'll come to it). But you can still opt for nuts as a healthy snack. Mangoes, bananas, and grapes contain high sugar; therefore these fruits should be consumed lesser than the others. Small frequent meals: a large meal gives rise to higher blood sugar in one's body, therefore it is essential to take small frequent meals to prevent both higher and very low blood sugar values and keep them constant. Small in between snacks can be dhokla, fruit, high fibre cookies, butter milk, yogurt, upma/poha with vegetables etc. A person with diabetes should follow a diet which is low in carbohydrates, high in fibre and contains adequate amounts of proteins, vitamins and minerals; and avoid fatty foods and sweets. He/she should also take frequent small meals (5 meals pattern). What not to do: artificial sweeteners can be used in cakes and sweets for diabetic people (in moderation). Have lots of fluid. Limit intake of alcohol. Non - vegetarian in non-vegetarian diet, seafood and chicken can be taken rather than red meat as red meat contains higher amount of saturated fats. Also, patients with high cholesterol should avoid egg yolk and red meat. The diabetes diet for indians includes carbohydrates, proteins and fats. As always, a balanced and planned diet can build and improve personal health. A controlled diabetes diet may seem like a drag and bore, but a good cook can add life to a diet.
