To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1.Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2.Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a.Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B.Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C.If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D.Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E.Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F.You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G.You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. Results take time to show. Just follow the regimen of weight gain religiously and you will soon start seeing the results.

I advice you include protein rich food in your diet and like soyabean, egg, milk and milk products combination of cereals and pulses, sattu with milk, sprouts and take heavy breakfast.

Yes, you need to increase the quantity of food you eat, but at the same time you have to make sure You are eating healthy. Eat five to six meals a day. Avoid skipping any meal. Increase your portion size. Choose foods that are higher in healthy calories. Do not skip any meal, especially breakfast. Whatever you eat at breakfast is better absorbed and utilized by your system. So don’t forget to take a handful of nuts everyday along with good quality protein, like toned milk and boiled eggs. Maintain a 2 hour window between each meal so that you can feel he hunger and eat better quantities. Avoid junk foods, they provide high calories but at the same time trans fats also. Diet to be included for weight gain: -­‐ Peanut butters and cheese makes a calorie-­‐dense yet nutritious spread for your sandwich -­‐ Milk (Add 2 tsp skimmed milk powder) -­‐ Egg whites or Banana -­‐ Soaked Almonds -­‐ Vegetable stuffed paratha -­‐ Groundnut chikki / Dry Fruit chikki -­‐ Roasted Soyabean / Almonds -­‐ Sprout salad -­‐ Chapati - Upma / Daliya khichdi / Poha -­‐ Veg (potato/ cauliflower/ cabbage/ ladyfinger / bottle gourd/ ridge gourd/ brinjal etc.) -­‐ Dal / legumes (soya bean / moth/ mung etc.) -­‐ Rice / biryani / pulav (veg / non veg) -­‐ Include food rich in carbohydrates and protein -­‐ Butter -­‐ Potatoes -­‐ Soya beans -­‐ Chicken We do special treatment using Homoeopathic and 100percent Organic Supplements which helps in weight gain and increase the appetite, which gives wonderfull results for the same. Sir for this in ayurveda a very well known medicine is available. Please apply maha narayan oil on both side. Twice daily. Try to protect knee from wet cool air. Also start some physical exercise to increase circulation. After 10 days tell the progress.

A good breakfast helps you loose weight, control blood sugars and fell fuller for longer. A whole wheat cereal with a fruit or omelete can be a good option. Drink 10-15 glasses of water.

Hello, follow the below to reduce the weight:- *take 1 glass of luke warm water with lemon juice and honey in the morning for 15 days in a month. *take 1 cup of green tea in the evening daily. * do surya namaskar, yoga asans like bhujangasana (cobra pose), sarvangasana (shoulder stand pose, vajrasana (diamond pose), pavanamuktasana (wind-relieving pose), matsyasana (fish pose) * avoid sweets, oily, spicy, junk food, chocolates. * drink plenty of water daily. *eat good quantity of green vegetables, salad and fruits.

Hi lybrate-user there most certainly is! you could try strength training at the gym to help you build more muscle. Hypertrophy in the muscle would give you a fuller look. You could also focus on including foods which are dense in both nutrients and calories (fresh fruit milkshakes for example). Hope this helps.

Pain may be muscular or joint pain, with local application it will subside. Commonly dandruff or any other infection and lack of hair nourishment are the main causes for hair fall. This requires both local application for dandruff or any other infection and local massage with oil to increase circulation and internal consumption of herbal preparations as nutrients for hair growth. In young age the results are more positive.

People using ghee are more prone to heaart attacks. You can use rice bran oil for deep frying. The best is if you use olive oil for cooking purpose. Pomace olive oil is not very expensive and is apt for cooking.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicine alfalfa tonic (sbl) (1tbs) twice a day for 15 days and revert. *avoid fried and spicy food *avoid stress and anger. *take a sound sleep. *take milk twice a day *include fruits, vegetables in your diet. *take small meals.

Hi lybrate-user, glad that you asked this question. Some times the metabolism in the system is very fast. So you don't gain weight easily. Eat frequently. Also take up weight training to build on your muscles. Include a lot of protein rich foods in your diet like fish, grilled chicken, eggs, sprouts, nuts and oilseeds, paneer post the workout. You are still 18 years, in a year or two with hormonal changes things should fall in place. All the bes.

Do exercise to get a healthy body.Use whole cream milk.Take 3-4pcs banana with other dense fruits.Take dense vegetables.Take whole wheat,whole grain.unrefined foods more.Eat more often.Add ghee,cream,cheese,butter, with food.Eat lots of protein to build muscle instead of just fat.Add more healthy fat in cooking.Take nuts and seeds extra.No water before and during meals.Drink water 3 lit/day.Take proper sleep.

Hye, It's fine to have juices after a strenuous activity or if energy levels are low. Although it's always better to have a whole fruit or vegetable on a daily basis because it retains most of the fiber.
