Sir, Regarding: Diet I am a non- vegetarian. I like taking non- veg. Food always. Ever since my childhood till my marriage at 30 I was taking non-veg. Food only. But, after attaining the age of 35, I was advised by my family physician that I should take vegetarian food only, and non-veg. Food can be taken once a week. Though I am now 59 years old, I am not able to get accustomed to veg. Food. I am not against veg. Food. By taking non-veg. Food I feel happy and my brain also works fast, whereas by taking veg. Food I feel of not consuming it, and my brain also works slow. The food intake of veg. Food will be half of non-veg. That I take. Please advice how I should get used of taking veg. Food. Feroz.

Sir My Mother taking Tamsulin 0.4 Mg tab 2008 year to till now Continue .Dr have suggested that she is taking this medicine for Life Time. She also taking other medicine like Nitrobact 100 tab some time, some of time cranpac D tab, Some time other urinary medicine. If you proper diet restriction nothing will happen to you. Body pain is there due to inactivity or due to less iron or vitamin in the diet. To prevent body pain or to prevent tiredness you need to consume good protein and iron diet in your body which will help you to break the fatigue and body pain. You have to reduce the weight by walking minimum 3-4 kms per day. Slowly reduce the weight and slowly avoid adding salt in the diet which will help you to prevent water retention in the body. Excess salt in general leads to water retention in the body.

Hye, thanks for the query. Water intake depends on many factors like activity level, season, food intake, disease condition if any etc. Best way to ensure good intake of water is to sip on water through the day. You can be assured that you are taking enough water when the urine you pass is colourless (unless you are taking any medication or had fruits like beetroot). Also do not wait to be dehydrated and severely thirsty to have water. Ideally at least try to have at 2-3 liters of water per day (as long as you don't have any medical condition that needs restriction).

You should start taking frequent meals specially those rich in fats butter. Dry fruits like almond cashew. Fruits like banana diet shud also include rice. Patato and sm aayurvedic medicines also help in deposition of fats in body.

Follow these best methods to easily gain weight and get a healthy body - * to gain weight, first take a diet rich with proteins and fats. You should take high calories food that increase your muscle mass and induce growth in bones. Follow the diet chart in your daily life to fastly gain weight * in morning, take a glass of milk added with 2 teaspoons of bournvita or complan powder with breakfast. * after 2 hours of breakfast, take 2 bananas or a bowl of boiled soyabeans. To increase your hunger & proper digestion of food - take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after lunch * in lunch time, take 1 bowl of curd or 100 gm of cheese, a bowl of vegetable, with chapattis. You can take 2 bowl of careals (moong/chana daal) on the place of curd or cheese. * in evening, take 1 glass of milk (300 ml) with 10-12 pieces of dry fruits or 3-4 pieces of dates (khajoor). * in night, take a bowl of careals (daal, a bowl of salad with chapattis. 3. In morning, get up early and take awalk for 10-15 minutes and exercise light weight exercises for at least 30 minutes at home or gym. Exercise is very important so that muscles gain mass from the heathy diet. 4. For proper weight, proper sleep is very important. So you should sleep for 6-8 hours daily. 5. Avoid smoking & alcohol drinkg completely.

You need counselling by dietitian so that specific changes will be incorporated in your schedule. Some tips for you- Start eating small frequent energy dense meals instead of 3 large meal. Small meals are easy to digest and keep digestive system running. You can eat small portion of any thing in difference of 2-3 hours like 1 small stuffed paranthas with curd\ whole eggs\spoon full of desi ghee in dal or with roti, paneer, nuts, sprouts, pulses, chicken etc have shakes of fruits with added nuts drink atleast 8-10 glasses of water.
