Follow these best tips to get relief from stomach pain - *take 10 gms powder of carom seeds (ajwain, 10 gm powder of cumin (jeera), 10 gm of rock salt. Mix them well and take 1/2 teaspoon (3-5 gm) of mixture daily after meal. *take 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (kali mirch), 1/ 2 tea spoon of jeera (cumin), 2-3 slice of ginger. Boil it in one glass of water for 2-3 minutes. Hye. Thanks for the query. There's no asthma diet that will eliminate your symptoms. But your food choices may make your asthma worse or increase your risk of developing asthma. Here's what you can do. Take in vitamin d. People with more severe asthma may have low vitamin d levels and replenishing vitamin d may improve asthma. Fish, pure ghee, milk, pulses and eggs all contain vitamin d. Even spending a few minutes outdoors in the sun can increase vitamin d levels. Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables. They're a good source of antioxidants that may help control lung swelling and irritation (inflammation). Antioxidants can be taken in the form of capsules as well. Avoid packeted, processed, proprietary foods and any foods with preservatives. Avoid outside junk and go for more organic produce. Avoid excessive caffeine, sugar, and salt. Avoid allergy-triggering foods. In general, allergic food reactions are personal. You will have to find which foods trigger a wheezing reaction. Eat to maintain a healthy weight. Being overweight can worsen asthma. Even losing a little weight can improve your symptoms. Learn how to eat right to maintain a healthy weight over the long term.

Greetings, Mr. lybrate-user. Going by the climatic conditions of Hyderabad, I think the fungal infections is in your groin region due to sweating. Please keep the affected area clean and dry. Rinse your clothes with any antiseptic liquid. Avoid Oily, Spicy food and Non-veg. Thank You!

Dear Preethi, probably you are facing problem of menorrhagia, usually it can be a sign of developing uterine tumors, please undergo USG of lower abdomen and for now use a medicine Arnica 6 thrice a day for 3 days and consult back for proper Homeopathic treatment .

DIET TO LOSE WEIGHT

Wouldn't it be a dream if you could enjoy your favourite food and lose weight? Losing weight and to follow particular diet can be hard, but it is possible if you have healthy diet plan. Many of you have heard that the best way to lose weight to join a gym and workout for hours. However, being a nutritionist I would say diet plays 80% role and exercise plays 20% role. The body of each person is different and so the different calorie requirements. Make sure you provide enough calorie to your body through 3 major meals (breakfast, lunch & dinner), include food rich in carbohydrates, protein, fiber and low in fat and a healthy snacks at least twice a day. Here is a general guideline, how you can make your own healthy menu.

EARLY MORNING:

Start your day with these metabolic booster supplements and keep your body fresh and energetic throughout the day. This can be achieved through having a tsp of overnight soaked methi seeds, cinnamon powder, wheat grass powder or a glass of thin buttermilk with mint leaves.

BREAKFAST:

Breakfast is the first meal taken after rising in the morning to regain metabolic activity of our body. It is rightly said that breakfast is to break the overnight fast. It is very important that you should take breakfast every morning which comprises of all types nutrients from various food groups.

Poha, upma, pancakes, muesli, egg whites and brown/multigrain bread toast are few good options to provide enough calorie and nutrients to your body.

MID-DAY:

Fill yourself with guilt free food and keep your energy level high. To keep your body energy level high take light food at 2 – 3 hours gap after breakfast. At this time you can have a cup of green tea, handful of nuts or a fruit.

SNACKS TIME:

A snack is a portion of food often smaller than a regular meal, it should be rich in anti-oxidants. Also natural food at this time will help you to satisfy your need of something crispy & crunchy. Have a cup of green tea or normal tea / coffee along with khakhra, peanuts, kurmura, biscuits of ragi/oats/multigrain flour and a roasted chana.

LUNCH & DINNER:

Lunch is a mid-day meal where in dinner is the last & important meal of the day. It should be divided into 4 courses.

First course is soup or salad which will help stomach a quick rest to our hunger. Second is the carbohydrate source – include roti made up of jowar /ragi /bajra /oats /flaxseed powder /soya. Third course is vegetable a good source of micro nutrients (vitamin & mineral), have different colours of vegetables every day to enjoy the goodness of nutrients and the fourth and most important course is protein add curd, sprouts, pulses, dal helps to rejuvenate your skin, hair and muscles.

I am 29 year old male. From past one year now I have this gas problem. It is very in comfortable. My neck pain is also associated with it. And I think it happens because of constipation. But it is not the reason. Because sometimes I feel good and there is no problem of constipation. But when this gas problem comes it brings constipation and neck pain with it. "No problem" days are rare. And also I burp when this happens. It also makes me feel a bit dizzy. Sometimes when I lay flat on bed it does gives some relief. But overall it is not getting cure. Greeting lybrate-user, first of let me reassure that this is a totally treatable and also a very common problem among pregnant women. Now that you asked about safety, I would assume you are not a known hypertensive or a diabetic or an asthmatic. Answer to the problem is 1- you may reduce the symptoms by altering your lifestyle and food habits a): drink less water during eating b) many small meals and not one or two heavy meals c) not to lie down immediately after a meal, d) left lateral position while lying down. 2- if you have already done that and still have no relief then you could consider a few medications such as simethicone (acixx 5 ml) or gelusil chewable tablets which are safe during pregnancy. It all depends on the vocal cords anatomical position and I will suggest you to rehearse your music as per your normal voice and do normal gargling and avoid any unnecessary food items and don't strain your self much and it can also be possible that after slow rehearsal you can get the pitch you want but it would take extra time.

Please do treadmill for at least 45-60 minutes daily. Keep moving as much as you can whenever you can. Keep meal portions small especially if they’re cooked. Limit your food intake which SHOULD be and ONLY be 4 times a day. Avoid sedentary life/night watching/junk foods. Also take Natrum phos 6x - twice daily 4 tabs for gas.
