Your daughter seems overweight. Try to reduce her weight and the patches might decrease. Also since she has thyroid she should keep her weight in check.

The face is very dry whole day and pimple on the face. Tell the solution of this problem.

BAMS
Ayurveda, Ambala
The face is very dry whole day and pimple on the face. Tell the solution of this problem.
These are the methods to treat pimples fastly - • Do not take stress and do exercise daily such as running, jogging and long breathing exercises. • Do YOGASANA daily. Especially do SINHASANA & SARVANGASANA daily. • Use oil free face wash and drink 7 -8 glass of water daily. • Do not touch your pimple because your finger transfer bacteria to it and make it worse. If you touch it then clean your face with water. • Mix black pepper powder in some water to make paste & apply on the pimples three times a week. • Take cucumber and papaya pulp. Mix it well and add 1 tablespoon Turmeric. Make a paste and apply it on face and leave it for 15 minutes. • Steam your face to open the pores, which in turn clear the skin. Steam your face for a couple of minutes. • Take 2 teaspoon of RAKTASHODAK SYRUP of BAIDYANATH company once a day. Be healthy.

Pubic hairs can be removed by hair removal creams. But these creams tend to have little burning effect and special care should be taken so that they do not touch over the sensitive inner part of vagina which will be painfull. Trimmers are also available in market and are good alternative.

I am suffering from scabies. What should I eat? What should I avoid? Thanks for answering:)

BHMS
Homeopath, Faridabad
Hello. Scabies, known as the seven-year itch, is a contagious skin infestation by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei. The most common symptoms are severe itchiness and a pimple-like rash. Occasionally tiny burrows may be seen in the skin. When first infected, usually two to six weeks are required before symptoms occur. If a person develops a second infection later in life, symptoms may begin within a day. These symptoms can present across most of the body or just certain areas such as the wrists, between fingers, or along the waistline. The head may be affected, however this is typically only in young children, and not in older children or adults. The itch is often worse at night. Scratching may cause skin breakdown and an additional bacterial infection of the skin. The symptoms of scabies are due to an allergic reaction to the mites. Genral Management: • Maintain personal hygiene. • Change clothes, bed linens daily. • Regular daily bath. • Clothes & bed linens to be boiled in hot water, dried in sun & ironed. • Thorough scrubbing with soap & water. • Through drying of skin after bathing. • Treat all close contacts. There are numerous homoeopathic medicines available for Scabies, but for that need your detailed history as medicines are chosen on the basis of Individualisation.

Proper medications during the initial stage of chickenpox can prevent some marks. At this stage, your marks will fade on their own over a few months. Your dermatologist can hasten this with certain cosmetic procedures and medications.

Seeing a Sudden Rise in DANDRUFF? Here?s What You Need To Do!

Seeing a Sudden Rise in DANDRUFF? Here?s What You Need To Do!
5 simple ways to prevent dandruff in winter

Dandruff is becoming increasingly common. This scalp condition can exacerbate in winter since the humidity of the air around you decreases, which results in dry skin and an itchy scalp. But there are certain ways in which you can prevent the onset of dandruff during winters. Read on to find out.

1. Wash your hair with lukewarm water
You may find a shower with hot water a great way to start your day, but unfortunately, it has a negative effect on your scalp. Hot water baths are responsible for scalp irritation and effectively increase inflammation, which ultimately leads to the occurrence of dandruff. So, always opt for lukewarm water to wash your hair in order to maintain the natural moisture level of your scalp.

2. Give your scalp a coconut oil massage
Make it a habit to massage your scalp with 3-5 tablespoons of coconut oil before sleeping at night. Rinse away the oil the following morning using a gentle shampoo. Regularly following this remedy proves to be beneficial in keeping dandruff away from your scalp.

3. Watch your diet
You can ensure that your scalp remains healthy during winters by including moderate amounts of vitamin b, omega 3 fatty acids and zinc in your diet. To get these nutrients eat foods like walnuts, leafy vegetable, and eggs etc. These foods can help in keeping your scalp hydrated, thus preventing the occurrence of dandruff.

4. Stay away from hair styling products
Winter robs away the moisture from your scalp, which makes it highly vulnerable to damage on exposure to harsh chemicals. Most hair styling products (such as hair colours) contain strong chemicals, and if you use them frequently during the winters, you may end up having an itchy scalp resulting in dandruff later.

5. Use conditioners and shampoos containing tea tree oil
Hair care products like shampoos and conditioners made of tea tree oil help in restoring moisture to your scalp, which in turn stops dandruff from occurring. Alternatively, giving your scalp a tea tree oil massage two times every week works wonders for your hair and keeps dandruff at bay.

Leafy vegetables, such as Swiss chard, cabbage and watercress, contain a small amount of MSM. Raw vegetables contain a higher amount than cooked vegetables because heat causes some of the msm to volatilize. However, you still receive some when you eat cooked asparagus or beets. Those who like to eat alfalfa also receive MSM when ingesting its nutritious leaves.

I understand your problem. Follow these tips to reduce hair fall - 1. Use mild shampoo to wash hair (you can make your own shampoo using reetha and shikakai at home) 2. Stop using conditioners. Use natural conditioners like egg, yougurt and lemon. 3. Massage your scalp with a mix of oils like olive, coconut, sesame, castor oil at night. 4. Apply raw amla juice on hair thrice a week. 5. Rub your scalp with the juice of white onion. 6. Use a paste of bhringraj on hair. 7. You can use some good hair packs like - fenugreek and yogurt, egg and green tea. 8. You can rinse your hair with organic apple cider vinegar after washing your hair to maintain ph balance of your hair. 9. Hair health depends on the amount of protein in your diet. Foods like chicken, eggs, fish, nuts, dry fruits gives you the required nutrients to keep your skin and hair healthy. So consume plenty of them. Eat things rich in vitamin c like amla and oranges. 10. Drink lots of water to flush out toxins from the body.
