Hi sir. You missed Pre and post operative physiotherapy. For all surgery we need pre -operative and post operative physiotherapy which means before surgery we have to prepare and strengthen the muscles which would be split while surgery and post operatively we have to do some chest physio and isometric core strengthening exercise. Mr. Lybrate-user, it is difficult to say whether the being experienced by her is due to diabetes. One needs to look at various causes, plus location, intensity of pain, nature and what affect it has on her movement, grip and strength etc. High sugar can can cause various kinds of problems. But 200 mg after food is high but need not be the cause for that kind of a pain.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

Please explain in detail what do you mean by dicy, does it mean that you feel unstable while walking? do you also have pain in neck region with unsteadiness while walking or standing? I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any upper limb or leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias (electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs can you attach your mri so that I can see and advise you accordingly. Towel hamstring stretch lie on the back, supporting the thigh with the hand or with a towel wrapped around it. Slowly straighten the knee until a stretch is felt in the back of the thigh, trying to get the bottom of the foot to face the ceiling, one leg at a time. Hold the position initially for 10 seconds, and gradually work up to 20 to 30 seconds. Seated hamstring stretch while sitting at the edge of a chair, straighten one leg in front of the body with the heel on the floor. Then, sit up straight and try pushing the navel towards the thigh without leaning the trunk of the body forwards. Hold this stretch for 30 seconds repeat 3 times for each leg.
