Dear , describe your complains and also urine report. There are many reasons why you get recurrence or relapse of infection like wrong drugs, inadequate dose inadequate duration and wrong way of taking them, most important thing is to find out under lying cause which makes you susceptible. So far as I am conscern alcasol is not the treatment for infection and infection means you must have more then 5 pus cells in urine. If only alcasol gives you relief then you might not have infection after all. Dr. Kiran mehta.

Dear, to prevent yourself from urine infection or uti: * drink plenty of water in a day. Drink 8 to 9 glass of water. When you feel to urinate, go immediatly means avoid to wait for urinate. Because it causes increase in infection. * try to make proper hygiene to your genital area. Clean the area daily after urinate. * eat fruits like cucumber, watermelon, apple, banana daily.

Dear, prostatitis is difficult to cure infection that means it will take probably 4 to 8 weeks of antibiotic trearment to get rid of it. And do not worry both ofloxacin and levofloxacin are the same class of drugs with some differences but both of them would serve the same purpose and it should get better with another 2 weeks of antibiotics

stones treatment depends on the types and size of stone, most kidney stones won't require invasive procedures. You may be able to pass a small stone by: drinking water. Drinking as much as 2 to 3 quarts (1.9 to 2.8 liters) a day may help flush out your urinary system. Unless doctor tells you otherwise, drink enough fluid mostly water to produce clear or nearly clear urine. Passing a small stone can cause some discomfort. To relieve mild pain, according to your medical history I may prescribe pain relievers. I am a doctor and renal (kidney) registered dietitian who will also prescribe a customized diet plan and medications to help pass your kidney stone quickly and with less pain. Do reply back for medication prescriptions. Being also a general physician and registered dietitian, I prescribe both evidence based herbal as well as allopathic medicines complementing with dietary guidelines and home remedies carefully personalized for each individual patient.
