Dear lybrate-user, benign hypertrophy of prostate is a non-cancerous enlargement of the prostate gland. In this clinical condition multiple nodules are formed inside the prostrate gland. These nodules often compress the urethra resulting in the narrowing of the lumen of urethra & producing a resistance to the urine flow. Resistance to urine flow requires the bladder to work harder during voiding, possibly leading to progressive enlargement, instability, or weakness of the urinary bladder the patient must follow the given medication as directed:- 1) 5 drops of homoeopathic causticum 30 at early morning daily before brushing teeth 2) 5 drops of homoeopathic conium mac 30 before going to bath daily. 3) 5 drops of homoeopathic baryta carb 30 just one hour before dinner daily. 4) homoeopathic mother tincture sabal serrulata q, 30 drops, twice daily, after meals, in a cup of water. Along with the aforesaid medication few changes in the lifestyle of the patient are also necessary. Lifestyle alterations to address the symptoms include decreasing fluid intake before bedtime, moderating the consumption of alcohol and caffeine-containing products, and following a timed voiding schedule. Also it would be better if the patient could void the urine in sitting position.

Every morning I find it difficult to urinate even if I urinate I immediately have slight cramps in the lower abdomen but if I drink lots of water I feel better. Just wanted to know about the problem.

Every morning I find it difficult to urinate even if I urinate I immediately have slight cramps in the lower abdomen ...
Mostly it will be urinary bladder infection. Use tab: cefixime plus ofloxocine morning and night. Syr:citralka 10 ml with 100 ml water morning and night. If not subsided consult a urologist.

Dear , This a common aftermath of surgery for prolapsed thrombosed piles. Some discharge is routine and so is pain. That will go away in due course of time. So is the case with healing. Raw area will not heal in weeks time, probably it will take 4-6 weeks depending upon the size of raw area if open surgery is done. If the discharge is foul smeling then probably you need to change antibiotics. On the whole you have nothing to worry about. Dr. Kiran Mehta.

Hello doctor .if creatinine level rises to 1.8 what does it signs and how to reduce creatinine and uric acid in blood.
I recommend the following 1. Find out how much of protein you are losing in the urine. Protein in urine rises the creatinine. tablets like ace/arb can reduce protein in urine 2. Avoid red meat 3. Avoid weight lifting exercises 4. Tab nephrosave twice daily has given good results in my patients 5. Most importantly make sure bp is within 130/70 at all times

Output of urine decreases in summer that is normal But yellowish urine calls that your body requires more water liquids. So increase your liquids and water consumption.
