Sweet smelling urine has various causes from just a lack or fluid intake, infections, metabolic diseases, presence of rare organic/ inorganic elements in urine etc. Rather than speculating reasons for it, it would be more appropriate to consult a physician get the examination and investigations done.

Hi, It would have been beneficial if you had told us since how long you are having this pain. I am assuming your stools are normal and regular. There are a few causes of right lower abdominal pain: 1) Chronic appendicitis / Grumbling appendicitis 2) pain due to hernia 3) muscle strain 4) Abscess in the lower abdomen or upper thigh area. Solution: please consult a surgeon for further assessment. You may need a CT as ultrasound sometimes is not the best investigation. Hope this message helps you. Thank you.

Know Everything About Overactive Bladder

Know Everything About Overactive Bladder

A problem pertaining to the storage function of the bladder that results in bouts of sudden, often uncontrollable urge to urinate is referred to as an overactive bladder. This condition which is marked by unconditioned or involuntary loss of urine can sometimes be quite difficult to stop. People who experience such a condition often feel humiliated and as such tend to limit their social and work life. Despite such, only a few are conscious that a brief evaluation can help them manage and overcome an overactive bladder.

Mechanism of Urination
During urination, the urine proceeds from the bladder and flows into the urethra which is located at the tip of the penis in men and above the vagina in women. As the bladder fills, the nerve signals in the brain prompts urination by coordinating the relaxation and contraction of the urinary sphincter muscles.

Causes and Symptoms of an Overactive Bladder
Primarily caused due to involuntary contraction of the bladder muscles and relaxation of sphincter muscles, several conditions can lead to overactive bladder.

Some of them are:

  1. Urinary tract infection
  2. Prostate disease
  3. Neurological disorders like stroke, Parkinson’s disease, spinal cord problems
  4. Medications that lead to increased production of urine
  5. Bladder abnormalities like tumours or stones
  6. Constipation
  7. Excessive consumption of water, caffeine or alcohol

Some of the common signs of an overactive bladder are:

  1. Bouts of sudden, uncontrollable urge to urinate
  2. Awakening at night frequently to urinate
  3. Urinating more than eight times a day

Problems

  1. Urinary frequency, urgency and incontinence can be detrimental to life. Emotional distress, interrupted sleep cycles and depression are some of the observed complications of this condition.
  2. Social life, work and personal life often suffer to a great degree with an overactive bladder.

Thus, if you experience or entertain suspicion of an overactive bladder, you should consult a urologist for evaluation and appropriate treatment.

My urine is pale yellow and it makes me pain
very hard while peeing. please help me out I am having very much pain.
It could be due to concentrated urine because of inadequate water intake. Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily). If symptoms still persist, get your urine examined for re/me and consult doctor.

Learn to let go of the inhibition. Make yourself a little receptive to certain normal things that is natural to all of us. Once you accept it willingly and become relaxed about the issue, your nervous system will start working in its own natural way.
