Most of the injuries occurs in athletes/ sports person are related to the structures related to bones. Such as ligament, tendon, muscles etc. In your case it seems to be Tendo Achilles pain. Still location is not clear by you. May be coz you are volleyball players it occurs when there is improper imbalance between jumping and landing technique. In sports person most of the injuries arises due to overuse. For now I suggest you to go for few days of good physiotherapy session. It will surely help you. Having lower back pain when I get up from bed. It is severe in the morning while I get up but disappears gradually.
Apply hot fomentation twice daily. \navoid bending in front. \npostural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Shoulder pain can be a result of injury or disease of the shoulder joint. Injury can affect any of the ligaments, bursae, or tendons surrounding the shoulder joint. Injury can also affect the ligaments, cartilage, menisci and bones of the joint. Some minor shoulder pain can be treated at home. Icing the shoulder for 15 to 20 minutes, three or four times a day for two to three days can help reduce pain. Use an ice bag or wrap ice in a towel (putting ice directly on your skin can cause frostbite). Rest the shoulder and avoid any movements that might cause pain. Simple shoulder exercises can help to stretch and strengthen muscles and rotator cuff tendons. Consult a physiotherapist, who can show you how to do them properly. Best wishes.

Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regularly massage head and hair with coconut oil, almond oil (depending upon your scalp type) 1 to 3 times a week. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! medication: take homoeopathic medicines - schwabe's wiesbaden 200 & alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use schwabe's arnica shampoo and hair growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use bakson's arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Beside this, you can take one tablet of multivitamin folli hair once daily for 1 month.

There is pain in the backbone. And it is lot of pain. And it started before from 2 years. And we many doctors but there is no effect. And some type of oil was given. There was physiotherapy advise by the doctor. But there is no effect.

Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretching. Do the cat/cow stretch.

Hi, I am 40 years old & I have back mussle pain from last 3.5 months, I have done the x ray the result id straightened. What to do ?

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. If back muscles are in a spasm because of any reason then you can get straightening of lumbar lordosis in lower back region. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. As your age is 25 years, chances of recovery in all your problems are better. You can opt for homeopathic treatment in which all your problems can be covered simultaneouslly. As due to slipped disc you cannot exercise which may cause weight gain, again your pcod increases weeight and if weight control is not done then pcod doesnot get cured easily. Better to treat your back pain and pcod along with diet management and breathing exercise as of now and once better with pain you will be able to exercise also. Hello lybrate-user at first I have to know. How your pain has been arise. But at present time use ice compression for 3time in a day for10min. And avoid straines work./running/speedy work. Consult me after 15days.

My father was operated for Slip Disc on 13th July 2015. Even after operation (the next day) he reported similar pain what it was before surgery. Its been two weeks and there is no improvement. Today again he is crying out of pain. In between one day he was without painkiller and we thought he is looking good but again the next day pain came back. He is 65 yrs now. We are clueless what to be done now?

Hi you can consult physiotherapist and change sleeping position and avoid sleeping position which gives pain. As recently you have gone through surgery consult doctor and see when you can start rehabilitation exercise to strengthen back and core muscles.

Antibiotics are not painkillers please do not take any medications without consulting your physician. Antibiotics will not help in your condition unless it is some kind of infection.

You are too young. These symptoms should not be ignored. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.

For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and Eat nutritious food and have adequate fluid intake and take physical rest and for farts -- Avoid spicy food in your diet and Also avoid peanuts and potatoes in your diet
