•Take 1 tablespoon of milk powder and mix it with one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of lemon juice and half tablespoon of almond oil. Mix all the items well, make it a paste and apply it on your face and neck daily and wash after an hour. It will give you a perfect glowing skin. •Turmeric is good ingredient for skin. Make a facepack with mixture of turmeric and milk. Apply this and wash off after an hour with cold water for glowing skin. Lemon juice and glycerin work nicely for dry skin whereas fuller’s earth and turmeric are used for oily skin. •Take one tomato, grate it well and mix it with 3-4 drops of lime juice. Apply it on your face wait for 15 minutes and then rinse it off. Repeat it daily and feel the change on your face. •Soak 4-5 almonds in milk overnight. In the morning make a paste of them and apply it on your face and rinse it off after an hour or two. You will definitely feel the glow on your face in less then 15 days. (you can add honey, oats and yogurt for quicker results) •Prepare a fine paste of ripe papaya, oatmeal powder, milk cream and honey. Cover your face with this paste for 15 minutes. Wash it off with water.

I have Pimples. I want to get rid of without any medication. Some tips to reduce pimples and black spots.
Pimple never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e on scars. You may have heard that applying vitamin e to a scar will help it heal faster. But according to a study, applying the nutrient directly onto a scar can actually hinder its healing, if you want medicine than, I will prescibe, like daily apply night microbenz cream daytime use ahaglo facewash.

Hello dear Lybrate user. It seems U are handling the Acne vulgaris lesions following which post inflammatory hyperpigmentation had occurred. 1st of all avoid handling of acne lesions. Use a depigmenting agent containing Kojic acid and a good sunscreen containing aqueous gel base formulation and a facewash containing Glycolic and Salisalic acid. Later on if on medication it is not improving much one can go for Trichloacetic acid, Glycolic, Lactic acid peel. Consult me online via chat, audio for full prescription.

Hi. Let me you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent which is called 'Hairloss' rather and leads to bald areas of smooth and shiny surface. In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up which subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or hairloss- hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormaonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger any other underlying diseases, etc. Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs, pulses, legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnut and almonds), iron-rich food like green vegetables, also take flaxseeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smooking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200/ twice a day for 1 month and revert me back. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). (N.B.: With the help of homoeopathic medicines, we can only prevent further progress of the hairloss, means it will get arrests in the present condition in case of progressive baldness). Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

http://www.nucleushomeopathy.com/Vitiligo.aspx

Doctor of Homeopathic Medicine (H.M.D.)
Homeopath, Belgaum

Vitiligo is a continual and long term skin problem that produces white depigmentation patches that develop and enlarge only in certain sections of the skin. These white patches appear because the patient has very little or no skin cells - called melanocytes - which are the cells in charge of producing the skin pigmentation, called melanin, which gives the color of the skin and protects it from the sun´s UV rays.

It is impossible to predict how much of the skin can be affected. In the majority of cases, the affected areas remain affected for the rest of the person's life.

"The appearance on otherwise normal skin of nonpigmented white patches of varied sizes often symmetrically distributed and usually bordered by hyper pigmented areas; hair in the affected areas is usually white. Epidermal melanocytes are completely lost in depigmented areas by an autoimmune process."

Causes of Vitiligo
Surprisingly, the causes of vitiligo are yet to be precisely established, but most of the research so far points to the following: Autoimmune disorder - the patient's immune system becomes overactive, and destroys the melanocytes
Genetic oxidative stress imbalance
A stressful event
Harm to the skin due to a critical sunburn or cut
Exposure to certain chemicals
Vitiligo is not transmittable; people cannot catch it from each other.
Vitiligo
Depigmentation of sections of skin and hair in 48-year-old man Less than 1% of the population is affected by the appearance of Vitiligo in their skin, meaning, it is not too common. It has no age, sex or ethnic discrimination, but studies have concluded that a larger percentage of the cases has been detected starting the age of 20.

Vitiligo signs and symptoms varies considerably from person-to-person. It is by far more perceptible in people with dark or tanned skinned. Some people may only acquire a handful of white dots which develops no further, while others develop larger white patches that join together affecting larger areas of the skin.

Types of Vitiligo
vitiligo in basically of two types which are called:
Non segmental
Segmental vitiligo.

No Segmental Vitiligo
It is the most common type of vitiligo and occurs in up to 90% of the people who have this disorder.
In non-segmental vitiligo, the patches often become visible equally on both sides of the body, with some kind of symmetry. These unusual symmetrical patches most commonly appear on skin that is exposed daily to the sun, such as the face, neck, and hands, but it also appears on these other areas:
backs of the hands
arms
eyes
knees
elbows
feet
mouth
Non-segmental vitiligo has sub-categories:
Generalized Vitiligo:
The most familiar pattern, it has no specific area or size when the white patches start occurring

Acrofacial Vitiligo:
This type of vitiligo is considered only when the appearance is mostly on the fingers or toes

Mucosal Vitiligo:
The appearance of the depigmentation generally around the mucous membranes and lips

U
niversal Vitiligo:
It is very rare since depigmentation has to cover most of the body

Focal Vitiligo:
one or a few scattered white patches in a small certain areas. It is often noticeable in young children Segmental Vitiligo Segmental Vitiligo has a different form of appearance. This condition spreads more rapidly, but is considered more constant and stable than non segmental. It is definitively much less common, and it affects only about 10% of people with this condition. But unpredictably, segmental vitiligo is more noticeable in the early ages affecting about 30% of the children that have been diagnosed with vitiligo.

It is non-symmetrical and usually tends to affect dorsal roots of the spine. It is more stable, less erratic, and responds well to topical treatments. What Are The Signs and Symptoms of Vitiligo?

A symptom is felt by the patient, such as a headache dizziness or pain, and described to other people, including doctors and nurses. A sign can be spotted by everybody, including the patient, such as lighter patches of skin, a rash, or loss of hair.

The only sign of Vitiligo is the appearance of flat white spots or patches on the skin. Most of the times, the first white spot that becomes noticeable is usually on an area of the body that is exposed continuously to the sun.

At first, the vitiligo starts as a simple spot, a little paler than the rest of the skin. But gradually, as time passes, this spot will become much paler until reaching the white color.

The shape of these patches are completely irregular, and at times the edges can become a little inflamed with a slight red tone, and may sometimes result in itchiness. Other than the negative appearance and some itchiness of Vitiligo, it does not cause any discomfort, irritation, soreness or dryness in the skin.

Vitiligo is photosensitive; the patient should avoid prolonged skin exposure to direct sunlight.

To predict whether Vitiligo will spread, and by how much is particularly difficult. The spreading of the white patches to some might occur considerably in a matter of weeks, and to others it can rest without growing for months or even years.

If the first symptoms of the white patches are symetrical (non segmental vitiligo,) in other words, in the same areas of both parts of the body, the development is much slower than if the patches are in only one area of the body (segmental vitiligo). What are the treatment options for vitiligo?

There are a number of remedies that can be performed in order to decrease the visibility of Vitiligo on the affected areas of the skin.
Homeopathic Management:
As a rule, homoeopathy never looks at Vitiligo as a local disease. Vitiligo has been considered as a local expression of a system disturbance. As per the classical homoeopathy, we believe in constitutional prescribing. This calls for individual case study in every case of Vitiligo. There is no single specific remedy for all the cases of Vitiligo. The exact treatment is determined only on in-depth evaluation of individual case.

Constitutional approach:
What we understand by the Constitutional Approach in homeopathy is nothing but analysis and evaluation of various factors affecting the human constitution to determine the disease diagnosis and the exact treatment in turn. Every case of Vitiligo calls for study of the patient’s constitution which includes various aspects of his physical aspects as well as the in-depth study of the mental sphere, such as emotions, psychosocial background, behavior and personality pattern, etc. The homeopathic remedy selected in every case after such a detail study is called the constitutional medicine, which when administered in the correct dose brings about harmony at the constitutional level, stimulating the normal pigmentation and hence induces normal skin coloration. It will be of interest to note that the homeopathy medicines are essentially oral and not in the form of creams, lotions or any local application on the skin.
Diet & Regimen:
There are a few instructions for patients regarding their diet in vitiligo especially with mention of what they should avoid during the treatment of vitiligo. Following are some of our observations based on our clinical experience of treating a large number of patients (clinical observations):

Foods that are excessively sour should be avoided. The ascorbic acid in sour foods tends to reduce melanin pigmentation. So the patients should restrict their intake of citrus foods. Non vegetarian foods are also to be avoided as they act as a foreign body to pigment cells. Flavoured drinks are to be avoided. Artificial colours used in various food preparations should also be avoided.

Usually small amounts of milk, for example in tea or coffee, do not cause any problems. Dairy products such as butter, cheese and yoghurt are also well tolerated. If milk is excluded, it should be replaced with low lactose milk or with Soya milk. This should be discussed with a dietician to ensure that the nutritional balance is maintained

Hello, there are different types of laser therapies (like nd-yag, quantum ipl, etc.) for hair removal treatment which are available in the market. So, you can visit any of the dermatologist or the clinic/ hospitals which specialises in these treatments. Get it done from a renowned and an expert hands only. Frequent number of sittings are required for hair removal (single sitting is not sufficient) which is recommended as per the type of machine they do have and the indian and the type of hair & skin you have. The reslts vary from person to person and it makes the hair more thinner, finer like a vellus hair which is not much visible or noticable and the more importantly they become bleachable! rate depends upon the size of the area to be treated, the no. Of sittings required and the machine which would be used for this purpose. (e. G: may start from rs. 500-700 per sitting for upper lips area and so on).

The Best Natural Oils For Your Hair.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is one of the most powerful oils in the world. Not only does coconut have that great “vacation-in-the-Caribbean” smell, it’s also great for your hair.
Coconut oil is high in vitamin E and other nutrients, and your hair can absorb them all. The result will be hair that is thicker, shiner, healthier and has stronger roots. It also contains lauric and capric acid, which have amazing antimicrobial powers – meaning it will make your hair and scalp healthier and prevent dandruff, itchy scalp and infections.

Argan Oil

Argan oil is the most expensive of the hair oils on this list, but ask anyone who uses it and you’ll hear that it’s worth every penny. It contains lots of vitamin E, Omega 3 and 9 fatty acids, and antioxidants, all of which do amazing things for damaged, dry, coarse or otherwise unmanageable hair.

Extra-Virgin Olive Oil

The same oil that you likely use for cooking and salad dressing can be used as a deep moisturizing treatment and to promote hair growth. Massaging your scalp with olive oil will promote scalp health and improve circulation, while fighting off bacteria and leaving you with softer smoother hair.
Olive oil also makes an excellent, all-natural alternative to shaving cream.

Pomegranate Seed Oil

For fine or thinning hair, Pomegranate seed oil can work miracles. It contains high amounts of punicic acid, which revitalizes your hair leaving it looking thick and shiny. It’s also a great protector against chemicals and other environmental damage. Pomegranate seed oil is very thick and somewhat expensive, you can mix it with extra-virgin olive oil to make it last longer and get the benefits of both.

Rosemary Essential Oil

Thinning hair tends to hold in more dirt and toxins; rosemary essential oil is great for cleansing and it also contains loads of vitamin B, iron and calcium. It has been used for thousands of years as a remedy for thinning and brittle hair, plus it has been scientifically proven to prevent premature graying.
Rosemary essential oil should be diluted with a carrier oil (such as extra virgin olive oil) before use.

Avocado Oil

Avocado oil , like avocados themselves, contains proteins, healthy fats, amino acids and vitamins A, D, E and B6. The proteins will help fill in damaged airs in your hair’s cuticles, repairing damage that’s already been done and preventing future breakage and frizz. Avocado oil is strong and thick, so it is most effective when used on medium to thick hair.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil isn’t actually an oil, it’s a liquefied wax that is extracted from a shrub native to the southwestern US. Jojoba oil is high in vitamins A, E and D and is great for all hair types. It can be found in several all-natural shampoos and hair products, but like oils, it’s most effective on its own. Jojoba oil helps damage to your hair and promotes new, healthy hair growth.

Hello sir my face problems is very big pimples so please sir how can do said I am which treatment.

BHMS
Homeopath,
Hello sir my face problems is very big pimples so please sir how can do said I am which treatment.
Dear lybrate user, pimples/ acne vulgaris is a chronic inflammatory skin disease which develops due to blocking of the hair follicles in skin. These blockages occur due to 4 abnormal processes: 1) excess sebum production due to androgens 2) excessive deposition of the protein keratin leading to comedone formation 3) infection of propionibacterium acnes (p. Acnes) bacteria on the hair follicles 4) local release of pro-inflammatory chemicals in the skin. Neither can you stop the overproduction of androgen or keratin protein nor can you stop the release of pro-inflammatory chemicals because all these processes takes place internally in your skin. However you can stop the accumulation of p. Acnes bacteria on your skin by preventing your skin from getting oily. Always keep a handkerchief with you wherever you go outside. You should wipe off the slightest amount of sweat from your face as soon as you perspire on entering your room from outside wash your face with an oil-free, non-moisturizing face wash. Take a low carbohydrate diet. Do some exercise daily. Drink a lots of water to avoid constipation. Avoid pricking the pimples or popping the sebum as it may lead to black pigmentation & permanent scar formation. You can also take homoeopathic calcarea phos 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach also you can apply homoeopathic mother tincture berberis aquifolium q on the dark spots on your skin which are produced after the resolution of the pimples.

Hi make a paste of neem leaves and apply on the targeted pimples. If you cannot get fresh neem leaves, try to get some dried bottled neem leaves, steep for 10 minutes in warm water and use as a paste. Apply pranacharya face glow on your face for 15 minutes then wash it with warm water.
