Dear . As per most guidelines a fasting blood sugar of less than 140mg/dl is desired. However I would not panic on one reading above 140. What is your latest hba1c levels? is the ankle pain less than 4 weeks? in that case the ankle pain can be due to any of the three conditions- trauma -infectious arthritis or gout.

I have problem with my right hand (especially shoulder). Whenever I am working out with my shoulder it takes jerk after 2-3 reps and it is always swollen. I also done X Ray for the same and completed the medicine course too but I still cannot get any satisfactory results. I have this problem from 4-5 months. Currently I also stop my workout. As you have mentioned that you have an allergy, these conditions are related with high esr. But there are many conditions like asthma and inflammation which are also associated with high esr, so you must go for a thorough check up from your doctor.

I am 50 years , having muscle cramps under the breast , also in the back of shoulders as well at times it felt sides of waist walls. What would be reason ? I also have pain on back of neck where spinal cord originate. Can you please help ?

Hot fomentation x twice daily. Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Core strengthening exercises. Take frequent breaks at work use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

Yesterday I went to gym and doing exercise for back. There was one exercise with knees bent hips out and as I pulled the wait a deep pain occurred in my buttock and upper thigh. I am taking rest since then and applying warm water and ice at regular intervals but still the pain in my buttock is very high. Start with Physiotherapy treatment. Learn spinal exercises. START EXERCISES WHEN YOUR PAIN REDUCE. Wear lumber spine belt. Apply volini cream before sleeping. Don't lift heavy things. Don't do forward bending. Take calcium, vitamin D 3 and methylcobalmine supplement. Get your x ray done.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ā€“ Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart..

Hello, first of all you should know what is backache and by which factors it caused and aggravated. The usual cause of low back pain is the sedentary lifestyle that we lead these days. There is hardly any movemely walking, running and cycling like activities are also not a part of our daily routine. To add to it, our diet consists more and more of junk food. Fresh fruits, vegetables and high fibre foods are consumed less and less. These daily practices lead to obesity. The increased body weight puts lot of pressure on the spine which has to bear all the extra unwanted weight. The back muscles which are already weak due to lack of exercise and wrong posture are unable to cope with this increased load. This causes pain in the back muscles. Management for Back Pain:-Along with medicines for relieving pain, one needs to identify the cause and correct it. This may require some medicines or some correction in your posture or reducing weight or improving your lifestyle. At the same time, there is a need to work on the local muscle strengthening. Back muscles need to be strengthened so that they can bear the weight of the upper body. For this exercises of the back muscles are very helpful. Regular walking is also very helpful as it is a wholesome exercise of the body, improves blood circulation and helps lose weight. JOINT & BACK PAIN 1) Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) Start natural calcium supplement. 3) Do regular stretching exercise 4) In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR. LIFE-STYLE CORRECTION 1) Correct your sitting posture. 2) Take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) Foot should rest to floor easily. 4) Take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) Do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.

If your mother has clots in leg, she needs to be on blood thinning drugs (anti coagulants), if clots are extensive and migrated to bigger vessels, then patient needs admission to hospital.

Hello, I am 37 years old female. Suffering with neck pain which is continuing to full back pain and feel some pain in the brain nerves I suppose. Feeling uncomfortable and pain is increasing when I go for sleep. Should I use my pillow or not while sleeping? Or what is the reason for this pain. Dear Ms. Lybrate-user, your problem seems vague and needs an assessment. The pain may be because of posture and your lifestyle. You can go for an x-ray and rule out any problems related to the vertebrae. If you have headache as well and is persistent then you must also go for an mri. Visit a nearest physiotherapy clinic and get yourself assessed.

I am having leg pain over 1 week. Which is the best medicine for muscle pain?
Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise.

You should take acupressure therapy and take biochemic mag phos 200x +calc flour 200x, 4 tab each thrice a day with warm water and take it 5 days

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

U need a thorough check up. Need to rule out smoking related lung injuries. Are you on any medication for cholesterol etc.
