I. Have always dirt on my eye lashes even after bathing what should I do. To remove it?

I. Have always dirt on my eye lashes even after bathing what should I do. To remove it?
1. Don't rub or scratch over the affected area vigorously as that would not only worsen the eye condition but also cause the eyelashes to fall out.-- 2. Do pay attention to eyelid hygiene. It would be a good idea to clean the eyelids with a baby shampoo. Applying warm compresses will help in unclogging the oil glands. Take a clean cloth and dip it in warm water. Close your eyes and wipe the lid margins and eyelashes with this cloth. This will help in removing the secretions and debris from the eyelashes and eyelids. 3. Since scalp dandruff could also cause itchy eyebrows and eyelashes, it would be best to seek medical help for treating seborrheic dermatitis. As far as the eye allergy treatment is concerned, use of homoeopathic anti-inflammatory drops (euphrasia eye drops (sbl)) might prove beneficial.--- 4. If the use of any cosmetic product is causing your eyelashes to itch, then discontinue using it immediately. Women suffering with this problem must use non allergic homoeopathic cosmetic products only. Buy eyeliners or makeup products that wash off easily. You must always remove eye makeup at night and clean the makeup brushes so that bacteria are not trapped in them. 5. If you have been diagnosed with dry eyes, then the treatment would involve instilling eye drops or artificial tears (homoeopathic cinelube eyedrops (hapdco)). If you are suffering from severe dryness, your eyes might become photosensitive, so make sure that you wear sunglasses when you step outdoors. This will prevent your eyes from getting dry due to exposure to sun or wind.-- 6. Blink and take breaks when you are working on a computer. Cold compresses will also have a soothing effect on dry and red itchy eyes.- since our eyes are very delicate, one must try not to make any delays in seeking medical help. Itchy eyelids or eyelashes could be a symptom of an eye infection, so do consult an eye specialist if your eyelash follicles itch every now and then.

Hello lybrate-user. Your concern is chiefly a cosmetic concern. There are a few cosmetic treatment options available for sunken or deep eyes. Whether you require these procedures or not should be left at the discretion of the treating eye specialist. Let me enumerate the treatment options in brief: (1) botulinum toxin injection: they would help in changing the contour and configuration for a temporary time period. (2) fillers: similar to botulinum toxin injections, these have effects for temporary time periods. (3) plastic surgery around the eye: this would involve using graft material taken either from own body or using an artificial material to transplant.

Get your refraction done and wear spectacles Eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. These are few things you can take care of. Otherwise as such no options available which can increase your eyesight. You can also go for contact lens or refractive surgeries.

Night blindness is due to a disorder of the cells in the retina that are responsible for vision in dim light. It has many causes, including: • Short-sightedness • Glaucoma medications that work by constricting the pupil • Cataracts • Retinitis pigmentosa • Vitamin A deficiency How is night blindness treated? Treatment for night blindness will depend upon its cause. Treatment may be as simple as a new prescription for your glasses or switching glaucoma medications, or it may require surgery in cases of cataracts Dietary Management For Night Blindness Vitamins A, C and E are potent antioxidants which slow down age related macular degeneration and help maintain healthy tissues and cells in the eyes. Vitamins C and E may also inhibit the development or progression of cataracts. Lutein and zeaxanthin are two antioxidants called carotenoids, which help in neutralizing free radicals and maintaining eye health. Sources of Vitamin A: Yellow-orange fruits and vegetables such as carrots, mango, papaya, pumpkin, dark green leafy vegetables, broccoli, eggs, milk and milk products. Vitamin A can be stored in your body, so you can opt for your favorite seasonal foods! Sources of Vitamin C: Citrus fruits such as oranges, tangerines and grapefruit, peppers, tomatoes, kiwis, gooseberries, strawberries and Brussels sprouts. Sources of Vitamin E: Nuts like almonds, cashews, hazelnuts, fortified oils, seeds, eggs, milk and dairy. Sources of Lutein: Green leafy vegetables such as spinach, kale, broccoli and chard, yellow peppers, mango and bilberries. Sources of Zeaxanthin: Oranges, tangerines, eggs, spinach, dark green lettuce, corn, broccoli and orange sweet peppers. For maximizing the benefits of the above vegetables, it is best to have then lightly cooked rather than raw. Cooking or steaming breaks down the cells, making it simpler for the body to absorb these nutrients from the foods. Aim to eat at least 2 to 4 servings or more of these foods every day to ensure that you are getting enough of these 5 powerful nutrients.

Hello lybrate-user, from the symptoms described by you, it seems more likely to be a case of allergy. Usually, allergy in children persists and stays till a certain age after which it naturally reduces and eventually disappears. You might need to use these drops frequently but you should do so only after consulting your eye specialist each and every time. Also, try and maintain strict eye hygiene in your child. This involves not touching your eyes with hands, not rubbing the eyes with any type of cloth or handkerchief, etc. Also, it would be a good idea to wash the eyes with clean water and clean hands 3-4 times daily. Doing so will help in preventing recurrence of the allergy. Hope my suggestions helped you. Take care.

BHMS

Hi sir in my right side eye is to more red by the dust energy pls tell me perfect solutions.
Hello, Bloodshot eyes appear red because the vessels at the surface of the white portion of the eye (sclera) become swollen. Vessels may swell due to: Eye dryness Too much sun exposure Dust or other particles in the eye Allergies Infection Injury Eye infections or inflammation can cause redness as well as possible itching, discharge, pain, or vision problems. Other causes of eye redness include Colds or allergies, Acute glaucoma, Corneal scratches: Injuries caused by sand, dust, or overuse of contact lenses. Sometimes, a bright red spot, called a subconjunctival hemorrhage, will appear on the white of the eye. This often happens after straining or coughing, which causes a broken blood vessel on the surface of the eye. Most often, there is no pain and your vision is normal. It is almost never a serious problem. Because the blood leaks into the conjunctiva, which is clear, you cannot wipe or rinse the blood away. Like a bruise, the red spot will go away within a week or two. Management: - Try to rest your eyes if redness is due to fatigue or eye strain. No other treatment is needed. - Wash your hands, hold clean water in your hand, keep your eyes closer to the water and wash the eyes by blinking the eyelids frequently in the held water in hand. Repeat it for 3-4times again. - Avoid watching T.V., working on computer or mobile, reading. - In case there is itching, use a clean napkin or a tissue to wipe the tears and cleaning the eyelids gently. Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe’s Belladonna 30 and Euphrasia 30 - both thrice daily for 4 days. Use Euphrasia Eye drops twice daily. Revert back thereafter.

  3. You recover quickly: Usually it takes around a week to t10 days for conjunctivitis to completely heal. Hi pavithra if your belly is lowering your self-confidence and giving you sleepless nights, here are the tips to give you flatter and fitter tummy. 1. Add fiber to your diet constipation distends your belly, add veggies and fruits to your daily diet to relieve you of constipation, reduce intakes of refined cereals like maida, noodles, pasta and whole grains instead add dalia and oats. This would relieve you of constipation and bloat to give you a flat tummy. 2. Decrease sodium intake sodium retains water in the body and hence your belly swells up, reduce intake of junk food as it contains a lot of sodium. Stop adding extra salt to dishes, also packaged and processed food contains a lot of salts so better avoid it. 3. Increase potassium foods rich in potassium help you get rid of balancing sodium, fruits are very good source of potassium, adding them to their daily diet not only provides this nutrient but also increase the fiber content of your daily intake 4. Avoid sugar alcohols we do not completely digest these low-calorie sweeteners usually found in flavoured low-calorie drinks, diabetic and sugar-free foods. Bacteria in a large intestine ferment during gas and distension so check food labels and avoid sorbitol, xylitol and lacitol. 5. Increase liquids drinking plenty of liquids helps flush out toxins from the body. Keep yourself hydrated with at least 8 glasses of water, also include lassi, coconut, water, lemon water in your daily routine. Make sure to include homemade soups only, as packaged soups are not that nutritious and contain added sodium in them. 6. Carbonated beverages and alcohol these give you extended bellies and your dream of flat tummy falls flat. Alcohol gives you empty calories with zero nutrition. 7. Probiotic curds include low fat curd in your diet regime as it contains live bacteria which tame bloating by increasing intestinal motility. 8. Method of cooking no doubt salads and sprouts are good for our health but if experience distension with them then saute, blanch or steam them also fried foods are best to be avoided not only because of their high-calorie content but also because frying leads to changes in oil composition which may result in bloating. 9. Avoid chewing gums and candies while chewing them air enters our digestive system, giving us feeling of bloating, also candies are zero in nutrition but contain loads of calories. Also, eat slowly as gulping down increases air passage to the digestive system 10. Individual tolerances some individuals are more intolerant to certain foods like radish, capsicum, tea, cauliflower etc, so with your own personal experience omit them from your diet.

Hello. There is no medication or food for improving eye sight or to get rid of glasses. Get your vision tested and wear glasses. If not interested in glasses then you can try a. Contact lens b. Lasik laser as your age is now 27 years so your number will not increase now whether you wear glasses or not as number becomes stable at age of 18-20 yrs. Having said that I advise you to eat balanced diet including green vegetables and seasonal fruits for keeping eyes and body healthy. Lasik is a very easy and painless procedure. If you want to get rid of glasses then go for lasik after age of 18 yrs.

Constant work on pc or laptop can cause this. You should take rest from work every 15-20 min for about 20 sec and look at some distant object about 20 feet away. This will help in relaxing your eyes. You can use some lubricant eye drops eg lubrex eye drops 1 drop every 2 hourly.
