First of all you ll have to get an mri done to assess the level of compression on your spine. If needed you ll have to get your spine fixed by a neuro surgeon. Both the legs arw not working or its just one.

Hello Doctor, I am having extreme pain in the waist portion. However while bending its spreading till the knees. I find my waist very slightly bent also. Help me please.

Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

I am 25 years old from past five 7-8 months I am suffering from serious pain on my neck and back. Like if I will sit on chair my upper portion of back and neck starts paining and if I will drive bike same problem happens please suggest what should I do as I am too afraid and it pains too badly.

I have acute pain in my neck for last 3-4 days due to bad sleeping posture. Can I apply warm or cold water to the affected areas. What exercise should I do? Thanks. Sorry for my bad english.

Hot water fomentation is best. Neck exercises better get trained by a yoga guru or physiotherapist. Movements are stand/sit erect, bend the neck side ways all the ways to touch the shoulder first right then left come back to starting position. Repeat it for 12-15 times. Bend the head forwards and backwards to the extent possible 12-15 times. Rotate the head clock wise 12-15 times and anticlock wise 12-15 times. Stop it and you can repeat it after some time. You observe this while some body doing or check it up in youtube or wait for the yoga day on which day pobably they will show you in tv or net, for easy understanding.

I am 33 and my body has became very stiff due to no physical exercise. I have slip disk and neck ailments. Also mental tension getting worse. But need to come over this. What could be the starter guidelines for getting started with Yoga/Meditation.

The best way to get started is with pranayam. Do daily breathing exercises for half an hour and then start with suryanamaskar. Do atleast 21 cycles of suryanamskar. You will start seeing the results within 15 days.

Some random points on my body are paining. It's sometimes my wrist, my shoulder, my fingers, my leg, the area under my eye (the bone), upper arm. It's happening at random intervals. The pain doesn't stay for long. It's there for a couple of seconds or minutes. I'm honestly very scared. Any help?

I'm suffering with viral fever and infection on my knees and a major problem that is I have colour blindness and tuberculosis.

for viral infection you should do regular warm saline gargle. have homemade freshly prepared lemon juice which is rich in vitamin C thereby increasing your body autoimmune system which prevents infection. regarding TB consult a medical specialist for schedule of treatment and follow it. and colour blindness consult eye specialist.

I'm a 35 year single woman weighing 60 kgs and height 5 feet 4 inches. I've been pretty active, esp last year I trekked for about 10 days to high altitudes, while in the city took power yoga, zumba, and weight lifting classes. Ran twice a week. I've experienced sharp unbearable pain in my ankle. No fractures and sprains. Parents have flat foot, docs have been telling me it could be due to that. Can't stand for more than 2 hours and walk continuously for long. Pain killers have not helped much and I do not want any more pain killers. How to treat the pain and condition of flat foot? please suggest. I'm wearing silicon medial arches now.

Flat foot at times causes pain. But we must rule out other causes as well rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Physiotherapy usually helps any way take caldikind plus (mankind) 1tab odx10days paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days it may have to be further investigated make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. You must have x rays of your feet done.

I had a partial lateral menisectomy done in my right knee for posterior horn tear three months back. Is there any possible way to find out as to how much part of the lateral meniscus I have lost due to this menisectomy. My post operative MRI suggests lateral meniscus as appears to be normal.

After removal of meniscus it is most unlikely that it will grow again mri is the only solution to rule out the size of meniscus.

Hi I am suffering from extreme weakness my weight is too low I am 55 kg where my height is 5.7. I suffer from leg pains around joints and suffer from cold n cough really bad. I smoke as well.

My Arthritis test report shows ASO - 542 RA - 1.4 CRP - 2.1 Uric Acid - 2.6 What are the causes for increase of ASO level in the blood? How to reduce it?

ASO levels can be increased in anyone normally also. It has not much use in adults. May be of some use in children. I don't think with normal CRP you are likely to have any arthritis. Ignore ASO titres.

You need complete evaluation Tell me 1.Do you have eye pain/ strain 2. Any ENT problem like cough/ cold/ blocked nose? 3.Stress/ anxiety 4.Are you taking sleep properly? Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. Your knee pain could be due to certain reasons but common ones are chondromalacia, pain due to knee instability, inflammation etc. If there is no history of any injury, and no s/s of inflammation or infection, then I will like to advise you for conservative management initially in form of intensive physical therapy, anti inflammatory medications, calcium and vitamin supplementation, ice packs at home and see how it goes for around 2 weeks time. If your condition does not improve, then we will have to get certain tests done. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

U need proper ayurvedic treatment. Don't sit down with cross legs, use knee caps and avoid curd ,sour and other cold items, lemon n other citrus foods.
