This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. I would like to examine & investigate your Mom in detail. Rule out Hypertension, Diabetes or other metabolic disorder. Kindly consult a lady doctor for menstrual problem. Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac 100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. (You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Avoid direct flow of AC or Cooler. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. Avoid painful acts & activities. --. Exercises To Strengthen Your Back And Prevent Back Pain!

You probably spend a whole day working at your office when your back remains in the same position. Then when you come back from work, you complain about your back pain, put some medicine and hope it goes away the next day. However, in such cases there are chances that the pain might return after a few days. You may not be aware of the fact, but there are certain fairly simple exercises you can do to strengthen your back and prevent back pain. Here are some of them.

1.Opposite arm leg raises
Lie on your stomach with one arm in the air as your starting position. Then finish the exercise by slowly lifting your leg. Hold this position for two seconds and then repeat this for the other arm and leg as well.

2. Prone hold
Hold a posture where you are holding your entire body weight on just your toes and your elbows for as long as it is pain-free.

3. Supermans
Lie on your belly with your arms above your head. Slowly lift your arms and legs from this position as far as possible and then put it down again. Repeat this as many times as you can do it in a pain free way. Once again, it is imperative to not do this when it is painful as you may get injured.

4. Side holds
To do this, you have to be on your side putting your entire body weight on the side of your foot and your elbow. Hold it for as long as you can maintain the correct posture and it is pain free for you.

5. Resistance band rotation
Stand straight up or on your knees with your back straight up. Then using a resistance band rotate your body back and forth.

My mother was suffering from joint pain for quite long back. Now she is unable to stand up at her own. She can walk a little one stand up with the help. Please advice me proper solution so she can stand up without help.

We need to examine her and knees skiagram also.Be carefull and prevent bad fall as it can fracture extermities.Use walker for ambulartion till u see us. For knee pain at least start doing Quadriceps exercise and avoid squatting,kneeling,cross leg sitting. Dr Kamal Bachani.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily .Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. .Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Dear , you need to take calcium with vitamin D3 for sometimes. E. 3 months and concentrate on back strengthening exercises. Only when vitamin d deficiency is corrected then your back pain will go.

Ur knee pain could be due to low Vitamin D or elevated uric acid levels. So get these levels tested in ur blood on fasting basis and start knee quadriceps strengthening exercises which you can learn from a physiotherapist. U will need to show your blood test results to an orthopedic surgeon for further course of management.

Hello 1. Avoid sedentary life style and keep charging yourself by scheduled exercises. 2. While you are resting, keep pillow under your knees. 3. While side lying, keep pillow in between your knees. 4. Gentle morning walk for 15-20 min. 5. Increase calcium products in your daily routine. 6. Perform back care exercises regularly .

Hi Doctor, My wife have Back pain issue. Her Arthritis, Typhoid, Bone X-ray all test done and all are negative. She has thin body and 5'3" height. When she takes any medicine of calcium then his pain increased and excessive white discharge happens. She is really frustrated after taking so many medicine their is no significant change in pain. She had miscarriage in Mar 2014. Please help.
