I AM 48 YEARS OLD MAN. MY URIC ACID IS ON HIGHER SIDE. RECENT REPORT SHOWS URIC ACID OF 7.88 mg/dl. VITAMIN D, 25 HYDROXY (TOTAL) IS 27.1 ng/dl. My uric acid is high and vitamin D3 is on lower side. The first thing you should do is to eat foods that are high in fiber, This is because fiber rich foods absorb uric acid from the blood. Your kidneys then 'throw' out the excess uric acid. Try to eat Oatmeal, Spinach, cauliflowers and Isabgol in milk if possible.  Please use olive oil to cook your food. Kindly avoid vegetable oils because they become unhealthy when heated twice. This leads to rancid fat in the body. These destroy vitamin E, that in turn controls uric acid levels. Olive oil also curbs uric acid by itself.  Vitamin C chewable tablets taken 500 mg daily lower uric acid levels within 4 to 8 weeks.  Try to stop intake of sweets, cakes and pastries. Saturated fats are bad for you.  Many fruits have got potent anti-oxidant properties, like celery seeds, grapes and tomatoes, and these prevent harmful toxins from attacking your organs - releasing uric acid.

Relax concentrate on your studies take break every 40/45 mts for 5 mts during break take a glass of water, take few deep breaths and walk for 2 mts you will feel fresh and will be able to concentrate on study without headache if still take paracetamol tab 500 mg three times a day for 2 days and then 1 tab as and when required.

Hi, Please follow these tips: - Avoid all whites like rice, sugar, maida,etc. - Eat in small quantities 4-5 servings per day. - Walk daily for 1 hour. - Avoid intake of oil fried food and sweets. - Take medicines prescribed by the doctor regularly. - Visit your doctor regularly for follow up check-ups. - Get your sugar levels checked once in a month and try to keep it under control. - Get rid of mental tensions and worries. - Be active always and avoid sedentary life style. - Perform yoga and meditation to keep your mind calm. - Consume lot of fiber in your diet which lowers your cholesterol levels .

Hi Sir I am 25 years old male I was feeling easily tired and dizziness and numbness in my feet, I went for medical examination the reports revealed I was suffering with thyroid Total T3= 1.68 total t4= 7.50 Tsh=6.09 I was suggest to take thyrox 25 mg I ha ve taken the medicine since last two month and after test my tsh was 27.05 I was suggested to take thyronorm 75 still after a month I don't see any improvement my depression levels are becoming worse getting easily angry feeling tired and drowsy kindly help me. You should repeat the test after atleast 8 hours of proper fasting if you have taken the thyronorm 75 for a month. Take breakfast at least 30 min after medicine so that it can act well. Also get haemoglobin and blood pressure checked once as that can also be the reason for tiredness.

To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1. Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2. Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a. Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B. Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C. If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D. Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E. Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F. You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G. You can apply these home remedies: • Take 1/2 piece of ginger, crush it and squze its juice and mix it with one teaspoon of honey and take 1/2 spoon of this mixture 2 times in a day. • Take 4 - 5 tulsi leaves and 1/2 piece of ginger and 1 glass of water mix both of them in water and boil it till half glass of water remain in the container then drink it by add 1/2 teaspoon of sugar. • Avoid cold water, ice creams, and pickle. • Take strepsils or sualiin (hamdard pharma) 1 tablet 3 times per day or slowly suck a piece of mulethi. • Doing gargles with lukewarm water it will reduce your pain.

It is true that people get habituated to smoking in teen age or adolescent life due to peer pressure or media temptations. Please remember that smoking is toxic to your body, mind and well-being. The earlier you can stop this habit, the healthier it can be for you. The lower taste and sinful habit of smoking can be stopped by replacing it with the higher taste. Simply read nice books which give you a higher meaning to life than chemicals in smoking. In place of smoking, spend your time by doing yoga and chant the names of god who you have faith in. It has been scientifically proved that by doing yoga and chanting, the habit of smoking can be stopped. Please get checked from dentist first to rule out cause of pain. Get the cavities treated first. Decaying can be prevented by good oral hygiene. Brush regularly. Use mouthwash and floss. Gargle with warm water after every meal. Avoid junk food and sticky food. Avoid airated drinks and visit your dentist evry six months.

Kind of pain you are describing is usually seen in rotator cuff tear or tendinopathy. Take rest for few days. Apply ice pack 5 times daily for 10 minutes every time. You will need some medicines initially and exercises later on.

Include lots of green leafy vegetables and sweet juicy fruits. Dairy products such as milk and fresh yogurt will also help. Fresh coconut is also considered excellent "hair food" -- sprinkle grated coconut over salads, diced fresh fruit, or rice. 1. Green Leafy Vegetables: Regular intake of Green leafy Vegetables - Spinach, Lettuce, Leafy Greens, Turnip Greens, Broccoli, Beans and Green Peppers are rich in nutrients that help and promote Hair growth. 2. Other Vegetables and Fruits: Two fresh fruits per day :- cut and eat with fruit skin, no juice. 3. Sprouts: Green gram dhal Sprout. There are so many sprouts like Mung Beans, Green gram dhal, Peas It is also very easy to prepare! Soak Green gram dhal in an air tight Box . Then in the afternoon strain the water and close the box, put the box in a dark place. In the Morning the sprouts will be ready for you to Eat.
