Dear user, take swd and inferential therapy to reduce your shoulder pain. Sometimes medicines alone will not help. Apply heat fermentation with any pain relief ointment at home once a day.

My mom had a back pain 2 days ago, We have consulted a local doctor n after giving injection he asked to take an x-ray. In d x-ray report 1. Anterior and lateral periodical osteophytes are seen. 2 reduced L5-S1 DISC space is seen. Is der any serious issue Pls advice should we consult a orthopedic.

There is not a serious issue. Osteophytes r not serious problem. For reduced disc space you should take care of some precautions like avoid forward bending, prolong standing, squatting. And do regular exercise for back strengthening. For acute pain you should apply ice pack locally twice a day for 15 min and some pain relieving gel after ice pack.

Hi doctor. When I was 6 months old I had polio however with the required care given I did not paralyzed me totally. But there is a weird thing my left leg is thinner and my right hand is thinner. Can you suggest me if there is any operation or any physiotherapy which I could use to strengthen these?

Hello lybrate-user, fortunately you are with positive mind, definitely you should do exercises on order to prevent further dystrophy (wasting of muscles) and to build up strength, endurance and overall functional independence. Best advice for you is hire a physiotherapist who can treat you at your home after a proper assessment. For your left leg depending upon the evaluation and current status of your condition, you may need to do quadriceps strengthening, hamstrings strengthening, gastroc-soleus strengthening, adductor & abductor strengthening, tfl and gluteus medius maximus strengthen, gemellus superior/inferior strengthening. For right hand do elbow flexor and extensor strengthening, wrist flexor extensor strengthening, finger strengthening. Hope it helps. Take care.

First of all you should follow some basic thing 1. Avoid=hot and cold at time 2. Less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3. Do not drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4. Avoid late night sleep 5. Panchamrut parpati 1 tab before lunch and dinner 6. Audumbaravleha 2 tsp before lunch and dinner.

It may be viral fever. Take rest. Paracetamol 250mg 1 tab sos for pain & fever. Consult a physician as well.

Do have regular stretches for joints for 15 min of regular timing have calcium rich natural food source for pain have hot and cold fomentation for 15 min duration each for 10 days.

Ur knee pain could be due to low Vitamin D or elevated uric acid levels. So get these levels tested in ur blood on fasting basis and start knee quadriceps strengthening exercises which you can learn from a physiotherapist. U will need to show your blood test results to an orthopedic surgeon for further course of management.

Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Approximately 2-4 times a month I experience a jerk in my lower back and the pain from it lasts in a day or two or sometimes in an hour. This can happen any time but usually happens when I play cricket. It pains a lot when I try to bend a little. Please suggest me something.

Hi I can understand your problem. # relax & stay positive. # take hot and cold fomentation. # learn posture care exercise. # use lumbar support. # take break every 20 minutes. # do strengthening exercise of back and core muscles not all back pains are same. Do share investigation reports if you have any.

I got this 2 fractures 1 month Back when I fell down, it was paining still, got plaster on second day of fracture, how many days it will pain? Will the pain remain forever. In future? I'm worried please reply.

Hello.... You can try physiotherapy. Most cases do recover very good with physiotherapy. You can also avoid surgery. Just meet a physio nearby,follow all the instructions. You will have to continue therapy for a few days.

High triglycerides and cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Change life style .do meditation,yoga, Go walk daily, do any one physically activity daily i.e.play any game., Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress,take plenty of water in day time. And 1 glass of water before bed at night. use flax oil, omega-3 fatty meal or cap., take .green veg., whole grain. Garlic,. Cod liver oil. Take anti cholesterol medicines . Cap. Ecosprin gold-10 at night daily.

Hi, Take tab. Shallaki 400 mg 1-2 tabs 3 times a day depending on the severity of the pain. Take Balarista 2tsf 3 times a day, mixed with equal quantity of water and Maharasnadi Khadha 2 tsf 3 times a day, mixed with equal quantity of water. Apply Rumalaya liniment to the affected joints and massage in circular motion for 10-15 mins and then take hot water fomentation. Avoid potatoes, sweet potatoes, sweet pumpkin, peas, channa, recently harvested rice, jackfruit, etc. Which aggrevate the pain. You can even undergo physio- therapy for 10-15 days.
