His front tooth chipped off after couple of weeks his gums area right above the tooth had a small round boil it kept increasing my dentist gave stolin ND gave him antibiotics. After a while d pus drained out ND swelling stopped. It keeps coming now and then. He said baby is too young for a root canal. Hello, Oral submucosal fibrosis is a progressive disease and no single treatment is absolute. It requires a multimodal approach. First stopping tobacco intake. Steroid injection, PRP or PRF injections combined with Laser give good results. The results of laser need to be maintained with good physiotherapy like mouth gag at night. For advanced stages there are surgical options too. Consult a oral surgeon.

Calcium is one of your best friends when it comes to preventing tooth decay. This is especially true for growing children and those with dental issues. Dairy products ? be it milk, cheese, or yogurt ? are all good sources of calcium. The best part is, even skimmed milk or low-fat yogurt are as effective.

Other sources include almonds, broccoli, canned fish with bones, Brazil nuts, bok choy, and dried beans.

Fiber in Fruits and Veggies.

Dear lybrate-user, you need to visit your local dentist and he will be in a better position to evaluate your gingival and dental status and would be best to suggest you a proper gingival treatment. Till then brush regularly at night before going to bed and also do not forget to use a good mouthwash regularly. Good Luck.
