Get your refraction done and wear spectacles Eat green veggies. Carrots. Strain less your eyes. Relax your eyes in between work. Blink regularily if working for long time on computer. Lower the brightness of your screen. Work under adequately illuminated conditions. If needed wear corrective spectacles. These r few things you can take care of. Otherwise as such no options available which wd increases your eyesight.

Hi doctor my brother is 31 year old married for 4.5 years. From last one day he is behaving very strange and not sleeping well. He has also developed such conditions previously .so diagnosed by some neurologist and this is the 4th time when the same situation arises. Same happened in 2003,2007,2010,2014 and now .all the time we have consulted with some good neurologist but this is happening repeatedly. Now he is in delhi so I need permanent solution for this problem. H e is very good at study was topper at school and clear jee get 2000 rank all India. Studied well in engineering and got placed in good PSU company and he also has a daughter of 3 years and good wife and a life without any tension or problems. Dear lybrate-user, Your brother may suffering from a Bipolar disorder or Recurrent major depressive disorder. These disorders affect anyone. It keeps coming back repeatedly, every 3 - 4 years in your brother's condition. Though it is self limiting, it is better to prevent these episodes with a mood stabiliser all through. Bipolar Disorder is like fits, epilepsy. It comes and goes. Still we need to give tablets every day. Unlike fits, bipolar disorder is a chemical illness, comes and goes slowly and the person loses only social consciousness. Most antiepilepsy drugs are used as mood stabilisers. Instead of the neurologist, take the help of a psychiatrist to prevent next episode when he is normal itself. Bipolar disorder can occur without any obvious or with very minor external problem because it is the brain chemical imbalance that causes it. It needs to be treated chemically.

Hi. Let me tell you about hairfall. In layman's language, hairfall can be divided into 2 types - temporary hairfall and permanent (which is called as 'Hairloss' rather). In temporary hairfall, hair grows back again from the same hair root, but in case of permanent hairloss, may be because of formation of DHT (Di- Hydro -Testosterone) around hair root it gets choked up, subsequently affects the blood supply to the hair and thus hair root is lost forever. (There are different pattern and types of hairloss, because of different reasons like Alopecia Areata, Telogen Effluvium, Scarring Alopecia, Traction Alopecia, etc.) Causes of hairloss: Many factors are responsible formation of this DHT or male/ female pattern baldness - hereditary, post-illness/ ailment, post-delivery, post- chemotherapy, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, insufficient sleep, sudden loss of weight, stress/ tensions/ excessive anger, use of bore water, any other underlying diseases, etc. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

This is not the artificial world, it is the real world. And welcome to it. It may have nothing to do with your age but has a lot to do with the modern times. Everyone is out to see what they can get for themselves, and is very self-centered. Actually, that is not a problem because I am sure you do the same without realizing. It is bad when self-centered become selfish, and people do not just look for themselves, they ignore other people in the process, even if they are in need or in pain. We are all attention-seeking animals: you want attention, you go get it. Seriously, you have got to fend for yourself and take what you need and ask for what you want. If not, you will just get sidelined. One thing that can happen with age is that you can become lackadaisical and take things for granted. Then that is your fault. You must work to get attention and affection. Build strong bonds with the certain people you like and invest into those relationships to give you dividends at times like these. People have become time-serving leeches and don? t have time to spare for anything else unless it interests them, personally. It would be lovely to have us return to those good old days but the times are a changing and we have to learn to live with it. So there is no coming out of it per se but you want something go get it, period. Rough and tough world but we created it and we have to live in it.

Take Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg after food as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days 3. Lot of fluids to be taken 4. Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal Dalia, chapatti etc. 4. Avoid wearing synthetic and tight cloths. Hello, Medication will not help at this age, you should try Exercise like stretching Swimming regularly Yoga like Tadasan and Sarvang asana. Play Basket ball regularly. Take proper balanced nutritios and protein rich diet. *Mix two tablespoons of ashwagandha powder in a glass of warm cow’s milk. 1. Add sugar or jaggery according to your taste and mix well. 2. Use histacalamine on your spots two times a day regularly. One is at morning and another at bedtime. Drink ginger juice in cold water in empty stomach regularly. Don't give food gap more than 2hrs.

Hi. For skin allergy arriving, take Apis Mel. 200/ one dose once a week and Urtica Urens 200/ one dose daily for a month. Along with these homoeopathic medications, follow the management part as well: - Avoid direct contact with the detergent soap or powder - Keep your hands moisturised always, use aloe vera cream - Also apply sunscreen with SPF- 30 liberally means apply a thick layer of the sunscreen 20-30 minutes before going out in the sunlight on the exposed areas and repeat it's application again after 3-4hrs. - Don't use any harsh hand soap, use hand soap with aloe vera in it. - Apply mixture of glycerine mixed with sugar every night. - Keep yourself hydrated always, drink at least 12-15 glasses of water daily (and in case there is excessice exposure to sunlight, increase the intake). - Take food rich in Vitamin A, C, E and protein.
