Hello, Headache could be because of fever. Take Schwabe’s Alpha-CF and Biocombination-11, both after every 2 hourly for 4 days. Management: -Sponging or bathing with tepid water. The use of a fan or air conditioning may somewhat reduce the temperature and increase comfort. If the temperature reaches the extremely high level of hyperpyrexia, aggressive cooling is required. -Take rest and drink plenty of fluids. -Take light, bland, properly cooked home-made healthy food only.

I have a hair fall problem from 2 years. On may, 21, 2013 I had used a hair cream berina starightner cream on scalp also. I dnnt know its use. That was my childhood mistake and till today I cry for that I concern. Many aryvedic or medical doctor they give me medicine or tablets. That have no effect. Please help me which really stop my hair fall.

Hi. It's normal to lose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg, eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, vitamin b12, iron, zinc and omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin), different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. Walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you fit and young! Medication: Take homoeopathic medicines - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica hair conditioner as well after every head wash.

Adding more iron to your diet doesn?t mean you have to feast on liver day in, day out, but when you?re craving something sweet, remember that dried fruits (like raisins) and cherry juice are packed with iron. Eggs; dates; raisins; dark green, leafy vegetables such as kale; and whole-grain cereals are all high in iron. Vitamin C improves the absorption of iron, so fruits such as oranges, strawberries and lemons should be on your grocery list of foods that prevent hair loss.

Past 3-4 years my hair strands have become thinner and now I am having excessive hairfall. I did undergo treatment for almost a year from Dr. Batras but it did not help. Can you suggest a way out?

Since how long you have taken treatment in Batra. for how many years you have taken medication. did they advice you to check your thyroid levels and serum ferritin. Generally hair cycle will be minimum 3 yrs to 7 yrs. if hair falls and volume reduces month by month then you need get evaluated with your diet, hormone etc. medication will be given based on above evaluation only. Normally you should see improvement at least minimum of 1 yrs itself.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Your problem could be due to infection of the tissues - do hot fomentation of the affected area twice a day - take a pain relief tablet after meals to reduce pain, max three per day - consult a doctor as you may require a course of antibiotics.

Go for brisk walk 45 minute daily. Take 3 cup green tea daily (jasmine flavour). Have diet rich in fruits vegetable salads & multigrain aata roti avoid rice, deserts, and fried stuffed. Drink 2-3 liters water in a day.

When positive thinking penetrates your mind it helps you attain your goal instead of putting spokes in the wheel of success. 2. When tempted to indulge, go brush your teeth When your mind is about to give in to temptation, go brush your teeth. It works wonders and your craving would have passed. 3. Sip soup for super slimming Make yourself soup of mixed veggies, greens or lentil. Soup is naturally filling and nourishing, eat it before mealtimes to decrease your overall calorie intake. 4. Never finish the leftovers Don’t treat each meal, as it is your last supper. Refrigerate or distribute leftovers. Ask naturally slim people what they eat and you will get a consistent answer. They eat when they are hungry and stop when they have had enough. 5. Fuel right If you want a sense of well-being and energy, fuel your body right so it performs well. 1.You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2.You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3.Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4.Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5.Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6.Take light dinner. 7.Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time. 8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner.Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Avoid late night. 10..Don’t sleep in day time 11.Don’t take sleeping pill 12. If no relief consult doctor

Lybrate-user, first thing is blood sugar must be in excellent control with fasting around 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg and hba1c% <7. Plus get the wound completely drained and cleaned, properly dressed. There is a need for proper antibiotic treatment for a week or more. Then the wound will heal. Thanks.

Conceiving at the age of 43 will be little bit difficult even though it is not impossible. First have a check up with your doctor ,do basic tests and general health assessment. If everything is ok give a short trial of treatment for three to six months bearing in mind the increased chromosomal problems in conceiving at old age.

You can take(If No drug allergy) : 1. Tablet Crocin (Paracetamol 500 mg) one tablet after food when required for headache after food for 2-3 days (maximum 2 tablets with gap of 12 hour can be taken in a day) I am giving you some tips for sound sleep and early awaking in morning follow advises given below: 1. Strict to sleep time schedule 2. Do regular physical activity 3. Regular meditation/ yoga, i can give you address of rajyoga meditation center near your house (this is free of cost) One thing i want to tell you that if you can relax your mind by Rajyoga meditation than you can reduce your sleep upto 5-6 hour and you will feel fresh and active 4. Avoid tea coffee after 7 pm 5. You can wash your face and feet at bedtime 6. Avoid daytime sleep 7. You can use alarm and gradually reduce your waking time by 15 minutes Consult me if symptom persist

Almost all height increasing medicines are useless. mostly height depends upon genetic predisposition and lifestyle including physical activity, fulfillment of dietary requirements, environmental conditions and frequency of illness I.e. general health condition. If you are observing poor attainment of height with respect to your age and other responsible factors, first of all there is need to find out the cause of poor growth, then correction of the underlying cause to attain correct height.

Dear Lybrate User, *Banana is the best source of energy. *Add two tsp of ghee to glass of milk and consume daily. *Avoid more spicy, salt, dry, maida related, junk foods. *Avoid stress. *Do exercise regularly *Do not skip meals. *Good calm sleep also helps to gain weight. *Use curd, butter in a meal, *Consume dry fruits.

I have serious allergy problem near vaginal area mostly after period or razor apply hair growth on vagina. Den skin on that area looks like burn n black.

Please specify whether it is pigmentation, itching, dark spot, raised, inflamed, redness, or skin shedding or you have noticed recently the dark skin? one of the most common causes of pigmentation or dark patches on the skin around the buttocks and inner thighs is chafing. The constant friction of the skin can cause the skin to darken. People who are overweight, especially around the thighs and buttocks, often face this problem. Sudden weight gain can also lead to stretch marks that occur due to a breakdown of the skin layers. Stretch marks can lead to purplish discoloration in certain areas of the skin. Another possible cause of dark patches may be intake of birth control pills. Skin pigmentation is a common side effect of these pills. Dark areas may sometimes develop due to a skin condition known as acanthosis nigricans. Here pigmented areas occur especially in the skin folds. Women with polycystic ovary syndrome may also be prone to developing pigmented patches on the body. To prevent further pigmentation, wear loose clothes that do not irritate the skin. You may also apply talcum powder on the affected skin after a shower to prevent chafing. Keep your skin healthy by regulating your diet. Avoid consuming lots of oily foods and incorporate more fresh fruits and vegetables in your diet. Drinking a sufficient quantity of water is also a good way to flush out toxins and keep the skin hydrated and healthy. Just apply lemon drops mixed with olive oil with a cotton swab on the marks. Apply the above mixture on the dark area around the vagina too. Leave it for 2-5 hours and wash off with running water and glycerin soap. Apply a homeopathic lotion containing berberis aquifolium and aloe vera extract. Apply on the marks on buttocks and also on and inside the vaginal cavity.
