Hello sir, I'm getting pain on my right hand arm from around an year. Whenever I apply any pressure or do some quick work from that hand, my arm gets stiff and it starts paining immediately. Every time now and then it happens whenever I take my right hand back side or so.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

*sit straight so that back bone gets proper support. A dining chair is better than a laid back sofa. *you can use mustard oil for massage which is good in winter season for relieving pain. Eucalyptus oil is also good *soft bed will not give proper support to your back bone. Hard bed with thin mattress and thin pillow is better. *get yourself tested whether you have spondylitis problem. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this without adverse effects. Take calc fluor 200--once daily in the morning.

1. Take one tablet of crocin pain relief sos after food upto a maximum of 3 tablets daily 2. Apply volini gel twice daily 3. Give warm compress locally 4. Take rest if you have recurrent attack of neck pain a) take x ray/mri cervical spine to exclude spondylitis and consult orthopedic specialist b) sometimes it could be due to bad sitting posture while reading or working on computer. Adopt proper sitting posture, put neck rest, use soft pillow while sleeping c) do physio therapy and neck exercise after consulting physiotherapist.

Back pain that is associated with day time sedentary jobs like computer professional s are associated with paraspinal muscle spasms. The best way to tackle this sort of pain is to do well spaced stretching exercises of the back, back extension exercises, using hot water bags to provide relief and avoiding stooping posture while sitting. Posture also plays a very important part in back pain, always maintain a straight posture while sitting. While getting up from the bed try to first go on your left or right side of the body and get up side ways. Avoid cruntches or sit-ups: they may increase the pressure on your back and may predispose to slip disc. Always maintain a healthy lifestyle in terms of regular brisk walking, meditation, eating healthy. P. S: try to avoid pain killers (analgesics) as much as possible as many are associated with side effects that you may not be aware of. Stay healthy. Stay happy god bless you.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Dear Lybrate User Walking is best exercise for backache. Do back stretching exercise Stretching should be gentle, so stop any stretching exercise that causes pain. Sleeping on your back is best. Spending a few nights on the floor with a pillow underneath your feet can really help your back, even if it might be a little trickier to stay sound asleep. If you’re a side sleeper, putting a pillow between your knees can help by allowing your muscles to relax more. Most people have experienced back pain after sleeping. If you have back pain that continues throughout the day, the cause may be a structural issue with your spine and should be evaluated by a doctor or physiotherapist. However, if you have back pain only after sleeping that is relieved after you get out of bed, you probably have problems with your bed or your sleeping posture. Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. -for occasional back pain after sleeping, apply heat to your back to relax your muscles before you go to bed and when you get up in the morning. Do not leave a heating pad on all night since skin burns can occur.

I am 39 y old suffering from spondylosis for the last 4 yrs. Severe at first ie 2011 year. Mild now if with hard controlled of lifting heavy weight. But could not fully recover. What should I do to recover fully back? life is so hard with this.

Spondylosis is best managed by physiotherapy and no role of drugs is there. Exercises, tractions, collar or belt support as the case may be and some relaxing gels and painkillers are the best things a surgeon can give. Main role is of physio n support only. Vaidyas are blessed with the advantage of suggesting some herbal applications and oral med those not only relax muscles but also strengthen them and help maintaining proper gap in ivd spaces. But again support of area and physiotherapy can't be dispensed away. No pain killers in ayurveda. Long duration in both pathies are reqd but ayurveda will not have bad effects. Choice is yours.

Sleep on hard bed ,sitting on chair properly correct it. Take keva orthocare capsule 1 30 minuties before lunch end 1cspsule before dinner. Massaje Ķeva anti pain oil 0n painful area. Aerobic excersices yoga will help you (Tadasan will help learn from guru than doit. )
