I used to love my sleep, till 3 year before. I am 58 years old male. Since 3 yrs, I have started taking stresnil and other sleeping pills to have a sleep during night. I am not at all comfortable with intake/support of sleeping pills, as this has further worsened my asthmatic problems. I am badly stressed/ worrisome person due to my family affairs and it seems a distant dream to resolve my on going stressed conditions due to erratic behavior of my wife and son.

You are treating sleep symptomatically. You have not treated the cause of the sleep disturbance. Medicines as well as psychotherapy, depending upon your preference can be used to treat the cause. Medicines, if you wish, can be given as it is cheaper and less time consuming than psychotherapy. the medicines I am referring to are not addictive contrary to the sleep medicines you are reporting. As is obvious, a detailed evaluation will be needed before these measures are undertaken. Take care!

1.Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit like orange grape, lemon, tomato,cucumber, raddish, vinegar, pickle etc 2..Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3.Eat food slowly, don’t rush, take smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat.limit fluid intake during meal 4.Drink plenty of water(8-10 glass daily). Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having, 6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days 8.Consult me for further advice

To reduce fat from thighs and fat, you have to work on your whole body. There is no thing called spot reduction. Start doing some cardiovascular activity everyday like walking, jogging, cycling, stair climbing etc. Do squats, lunges to tone things, crunches for belly. Suryanamskar will help tone whole body.

Few diet tips - Not to eat fried food items and Can eat All green vegetables, moong, chana,Dal, rice etc And to apply ghee over chappati and don't apply oil over chappati And to drink milk mixed with turmeric powder twice a day And If possible eat eggs on alternate days And If possible in breakfast eat atleast one bajra ka rotla And Eat seasonal fruit and I will suggest you to take injection vitcofol 2 cc intramuscularly every alternate days for five pricks over the buttocks through a health professional.

If you have fat around the belly and thighs, then you should get a thyroid test done to rule out any health concerns. If your periods are irregular, that can cause belly fat too. Treat the period irregulatity first and then go for fat reduction. If you do not have any of the above problems then follow the following recommendations. Belly fat is one of the toughest things to reduce. So the first step is to be patient and persistent in your efforts 1. Exercise - this is the most important part of fat reduction. With out exercise none of the weight loss tips will work. So be sincere and regular with the exercises. You can do yoga or cycling or skipping, these will work specifically on the target areas - belly and thighs 2. Jeera/cumin water - my patients have given me excellent feedback for this tip. Boil 2 tsp of cumin in half liter of water for ten minutes, filter and drink this water when it is luke warm. You need not have it in one shit. Have one cup every now and then. Do this daily for best results 3. Massage with warm sesame oil followed by warm water bath - this will help loosen up the fat moecules.

Follow these simple steps to ensure a good sleep every night and stay away from sleep disorders and other health problems associated with unhealthy sleep habits: 1) maintain a regular sleep routine - try to get at least 6 to 7 hours of uninteruppted sleep at night time Go to bed at the same time. Wake up at the same time. Ideally, your schedule will remain the same (+/- 20 minutes) every Night of the week. A good sleep hygiene routine promotes healthy sleep and daytime alertness. 2) avoid sleeping during the daytime. It can disturb the normal pattern. 3) avoid caffeine, nicotine, and alcohol near bedtime. While alcohol may speed the onset of sleep, it creates problems in he second half of sleep. 4) exercise can promote good sleep. Exercise should be taken in the morning or late afternoon. Yoga, can be done before bed to help. 5) have a quiet, comfortable bedroom. Set your bedroom thermostat at a comfortable temperature. Generally, a little cooler is better than a little warmer. Turn off the tv and other extraneous noise that may disrupt sleep. Background 'white noise' like a fan is ok. If your pets awaken you, keep them outside the bedroom. Your bedroom should be dark. Turn off bright lights. Have a comfortable mattress. 6) avoid heavy meals close to bedtime. 7) ensure adequate exposure to natural light. 8) avoid emotionally upsetting conversations and activities before trying to go to sleep. Do not think of, or bring your problems to bed. 9) stop using all your digital devices and stop looking at digital screens be it mobile phones or televisions at least 1 hour before the time you plan to sleep. Instead try reading a fiction book near bedtime so it makes you help relaxed and de-stressed. Sleep well live healthy and live longer. If you have tried all these and still have problems, please consult me for prescription medication.

If the cause of back pain persists, you should not restart. Causes could be muscular fatigue, spondylitis, trauma, disc problem etc. Pl rule these out by visiting ortho specialist. If no problem, pl apply muscle relaxants and orally take herbs n minerals to strengthen Asthi and Maansa Dhatu i.e. none and muscle. Pl consult privately for medicine part.

Hello Lybrate user, in order to lose weight you will need to cut down some calories. Include protein at each meal as it support to weight loss. Eat a lot of fruits and veggies because they are high in fiber and other essential nutrients, control hunger with water it also helps in weight loss. Also add some physical activity for 30-45 minutes in a day.

Hello, Sudden weight gain could be because of various reasons Age is the most of the prime reasons. With growing age body isn't able to burn calories the way it use to. If the your diet is or use to be same remember calorie requirements changes with the change in metabolism. Stress is an other contributing factor to weight gain. Deficiencies of certain vital nutrients can also be one of the primary reasons. Faulty eating habits do have am impact. Access the above factors which might help you to a relevant interpretation.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

There is no medicine which will erase the scars completely they will fade away with time initially they are darker but slowly they will lighten up only apply coconut oil on them no fairness creams or any medicine will work on them.
