Dear lybrate-user! the pimples or acne are common in adult age due to over secretion of glands. 1. Acne can be treated in homoeopathy without side effects 2. Avoid eating much of oily food 3. Do not take too much fatty food 4. Avoid eating any type of deep fried foods 5. Do not pinch or injure the pimples - it leaves the scars marks or dots - which may spoil our face beauty 6. Mr. Lybrate-user, if diabetes is not well controlled and going on for a number of years, then it does affect the nervous system causing sensory neuropathy, where patient may feel tingling, numbness, altered sensation and/or loss of sensation. Does he have any cut or ulcer on the sole? since when has he been having the injury or ulcer on the foot? how good is his blood glucose control? it is essential to have a fairly strict glucose control in such situation. He may need urgent care so please consult your local diabetologist urgently. Thanks.

Skin condition which is marked by red, itchy and scaly patches is known as Psoriasis. It is one of the most chronic and long lasting diseases relating to the skin.

The top five conditions that can damage the condition are listed below:

Infections: Psoriasis also gets worsened by common infections like an earache, bronchitis, throat infection, and such others. It is highly recommended for you to consult your doctor if you have anybody infections along with psoriasis. So the doctor will be able to tell you the risk of the infection and how to go about managing it.
Weather changes: Medical researchers have proved that psoriasis tends to grow in colder and drier conditions. It has reportedly been observed that people having psoriasis have smoother skin during summers than during winters.
Alcohol: There is a direct link between your drinking habits and your skin health. Drinking, in general, tends to cause harm to the overall body. Skin being no exception also gets affected adversely by alcohol consumption. If you have psoriasis, then you should immediately consult your dermatologist so that he/she can assign you a daily limit for your alcohol consumption in a manner that it does not worsen the condition of your skin.
Stress: Stress has been known generally to affect the skin in an adverse manner. Stress can cause your body to have a greater incidence of inflammation on your skin which further affects your skin disease. Your doctor can help you out with the ways to manage your stress so that it does not cause any further damage to your skin.
Cuts and bruises: If there are any kinds of breakouts or irregularities in your skin, then it would further worsen your psoriasis. Your cut skin may lead to a flare which is known as the Koebner phenomenon in medical terminology.

There is no problem in applying sunscreen in a very polluted area. Sunscreen saves you from harmful sun rays, and is necessary to be appkied in sun. If you have to go to a very polluted area, yoy should keep sunscreen and wet wipes handy so that you can clean your face with wet wipes and apply sun screen again. Wash your face thoroughly every night and apply a moisturiser as a saily regime.

As you sow, so shall you reap. Even if you eat proper food but calories are not burnt, you are bound to gain weight. So maintain negative caloric intake i. E. If you eat 2000 calories, burn at least 2200- 2500 calories. Do not starve. It will harm you. Yoga, walks, jogs, deep breathing will keep you active. Fibers and traditional snacks like roasted or sprouted grams or lentils will satisfy your itch to eat but won't add weight. If you do sincerely, you will be happier. For hair problem write history, shampoo/ soaps you use, any hereditary, exposure to pollution etc may be informed for specific response.

Hi, coconut oil use is just meant for grooming hair, other than that it does not have any use, if you stop using it there is no problem at all, infact since you have oily skin it is better to avoid using coconut oil, as it will add further to your oily skin.

Hair fall solution give me.
Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

Hello lybrate-user, the pigmentation you are suffering from is called melasma. Melasma is a kind of hyperpigmentation seen mostly in females of middle age and is dictated by hormones and sunlight. It treatment is challenging but with proper regimen good results can be achieved. Usually the treatment is divided into clinic based treatment and home based. At clinic, I suggest series of chemical peels like glycolic, jessner, tca with or without microdermabrasion. At home you can apply cream containing kojic acid, arbutin, etc and vitamin c serum for maintenance. Use high spf sunscreen on regular basis. Use glycolic acid based facewash. Hope this will take care of your issue. Let me know if you require any help from my side. Dr. Hardik pitroda.
