Hi. From past nearly 6months I'm not getting proper sleep at night. From past 3 months it got worse I'm not at all getting sleep till 5 r 6 in morning. I hardly having 4 - 5 hrs sleep in a day. When I consulted physician he suggested me zolasma 5mg to have it at 10pm for 14days which will reset my sleep cycle. But when I'm having that tablet I'm sleeping for 14 - 16hrs a day which is making me feel numb whole day. Can someone tell me whether this things causes any affect for my health? And what should I do to get back to normal sleep cycle?

Hi, sleep is very important in a day's cycle. Lack of proper sleep will effect our daily activities and make your feel tired or drowsy. As you have told the tab is making you sleep more, stop it as for now. Start your day afresh early morning at 6 am. Go for a walk. Do exercise and meditation. Don't think of your sleep problem. Continue with your days work. Don't get stressed much. Have dinner early. Do meditation and try to sleep. Even if you can't don't feel stressed, be positive. Again start your day at 6am. If you try this in a few days your sleep cycle ll come back. If it doesn't work den go for consultation n medication. All the best.

Dear lybrate user, you need to take homoeopathic carbo veg 200, 5 drops, thrice daily, in empty stomach. You can also try homoeopathic liver tonic liv-t (sbl company). You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day 2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals . 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits 6) avoid coffee and tea. A) take 30ml of triphala juice and 10 ml of honey early in the morning on empty stomach and at night before sleep. B) take 30 ml of DAAAIMAVLEHA after meals along with 30 ml of water. At present there is no documented evidence as to any medicine or food that can cure alheimers. Medicines are available which decrease the progression of the disease. Certain promising trials are going on which suggest that some foods might be beneficial in" preventing" alzheimer's.

Dear friend, as you urself is saying that you r physically fit but you r feeling sleeplessness and tiredness, means you need mental calmness. Mental peace is achieved by yoga & ayurveda. Do deep breathing practice naadi shuddhi regularly do bhramri pranayam there r very effective ayurvedic medicines available in the market for boosting brain functioning and calmness and moreover, these ayurvedic medicines don't have any side effect at all. For your age tremor could be because of essential tremor 1.The cause of essential tremor is unknown. in some cases it is hereditary and runs in families.some 2.it is exaggerated due to stress/anxiety/panic/nervousness/Physical exhaustion/low blood sugar/ smoking,alcohol abuse,excess tea, coffee/ inadequate sleep 3. There is no definite treatment, unless it is very severe 4.Avoid stress/anxiety/nervousness/ panic etc 5. avoid excess tea/Coffee/ smoking/alcohol 6.take good nourishing diet 7.Have adequate sleep. 8. Do a thyroid function test to exclude thyroid problem 9.Consult neurologist for further advice
