For leg pain, please follow the below advise: keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

I m sure your having th pitta prakarti. So avoid spicy, hot stuff, take pitta shamak ayurvedic medicines like daadimaadi avleh. N triphala churna at nite with honey or gud.

I see that you had to go through difficult times during your boarding school days. Since you were ill treated by your friends you probably have lost faith in people. It has affected your self esteem as well. You are probably feeling worthless. Hence you do not find any joy in life and feel lonely and sad. I also sense that you are ashmed of yourself. I feel very sorry to see what all this has done to you. But please remember, that you are unique. Whatever has happened in your boarding school, it's over now. If it was your mistake, please understand that we all are human beings and we all make mistakes. So forgive yourself and try not to repeat the mistake. If it was not your mistake and if still you were defamed, then have faith in yourself and don't allow others' negativity affect your soul. Because, you know your own self but others may not be able to recognise your true personality. Tell yourself that you do not need anyone's certificate. If you think that you need to improve upon certain personal skills, try to learn some new life skills. Try to be true to your own self and to others. Try to make new friends, understand the goodness in each person you meet, compliment people if you like something about them, keep company of people with positive attitude. If possible seek support from your family - talk to them. Once you gain back your self confidence, and once you start making friends, you will start laughing and start enjoying life again. Take care.

Morning stiffness in back & other joints is quite a common condition. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises contact me again if need be. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take consult a physician for your gi & heart problem.

Aapka uric acid bada hua hai, start Tab Furic 40 mgs once a day and see a dietician for uric acid free diet. Also get your Vitamin D levels, RA factor and Anti CCP test(blood tests).Start Tab Mecobal 1500 ug once a day for 1 month for low vitamin B12 levels.

Hello, you can take homoeopathic medicines1. Calc fluor 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week. 2. Rhus tox 30 (4 drops in little water) thrice a day for a week and update. *use a small pillow. *take rest or move about once in 1-2 hours in case of working in a constant position. *maintain a good posture while reading or working with computers. *take a high fibre content diet like vegetables, fruits, etc. *don't lift heavy weight. *don't put hands under the head while sleeping.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. I will have 2 recommendations for you: 1) please get a regular opinion of a diabetologist because one reading does not mean that you are cured of blood sugar problems. 2) as far as your leg pain goes, it can be due to multiple reasons but I can advise you in a better manner if I can see some of your blood test reports like cbc, esr, cro, serum potassium and serum vitamin d levels. Also please tell me whether there is any swelling, or any other s/s of inflammation like redness, local warmth etc? over the involved leg? also if possible please send me a clinical picture of involved leg pointing towards site of pain so that I can see and understand. Till that time you can actually start with ice packs, limb elevation at home and a short course of anti inflammatory medication do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

At 63 years Mild pain in Knee is still a good going. But now you should avoid bending knees, avoid cross-legged sitting, avoid squatting (use western toilet). Eat healthy food, do walking on soft surface for 15-20 minutes. Do Static Quadriceps exercises (from physiotherapist) Avoid gaining weight.

Give yourself about 2 to 3 weeks to make some lifestyle changes: get more sleep, trim your social calendar, eat more wholesome foods, drink more fluids, take a multivitamin, and cut back on caffeine. If you're still feeling the symptoms of tiredness after those changes, then you need professional help. Here are some tips for how to handle your back pain: -stop normal physical activity for the first few days. This will help relieve your symptoms and reduce any swelling in the area of the pain. -apply heat or ice to the painful area. One good method is to use ice for the first 48 to 72 hours, and then use heat. Take pain relievers medicine. --while sleeping, try lying in a curled-up, fetal position with a pillow between your legs. If you usually sleep on your back, place a pillow or rolled towel under your knees to relieve pressure. -find a mattress with back support. A good mattress should provide support for the natural curves and alignment of the spine. Medium-firm mattresses usually provide more back pain relief than firm mattresses. -do not perform activities that involve heavy lifting or twisting of your back for the first 6 weeks after the pain begins. -avoid bending forward and sitting in a place for long time -stretching and strengthening exercises are important. But, starting these exercises too soon after an injury can make your pain worse. -some physiotherapy treatment like ift current can give you some relief.

Hi Doctor, I am 24 years old. My right leg got sudden pain 4 months back, I consulted doctor done MRI scan also, result was meniscus injury and knee dislocation. I am taking treatment from 4 months. Now suddenly my left leg is paining, I can not even walk properly. I tested blood, report came with R A and ASLO positive. Now I am feeling pain ankles and hands and also stiffness in muscles. dear friend, this disease in ayurveda is called Aamvat. for this you need to start few things. take light easily digestible food and Luke warm water to drink. try to avoid curd, urad dal ,etc. take tab Aam vatari ras 2 tab twice daily with Luke warm water. hot fomentation with warm sand in a cloth on affected area is also helpful. tell more about your medicine to guide further.

Neck exercises. Neck stretching. Postural correction. Shoulder shrugs. Take frequent breaks at work. Core strenthening exercises. Use cervical pillow. Use back support. Self massage the back of neck.

One month ago I had an injury in the thumb of right leg. While playing the thumb got bent in upward direction almost 90 degree. After that there was serious pain for almost 4 days. It was difficult to walk. But now the pain has disappeared but when something struck my thumb or the thumb collides with something, pain occurs and lasts for 8 to 10 seconds. DEAR Lybrate USER. You have to follow some basic things so that you get better results in a short period of time. …. 1) take solid diet two times in a day and liquid diet two times in a day …2) drink only 100-150 ml of lukewarm water during meals …. 3) don’t drink water before meal for one hour and one hour after meal…4) avoid oily, spicy, junk, fermented and stale foods…. 5) avoid late night sleeping habits …6) avoid coffee and tea…. A) take 30ml of BHRUNGARAJASAVAM and 30 ml of water and 10 gm of jiggery after meals. B) take 2 tablets of vaatgajankush rasa early in the morning on empty stomach with 1 tsf of honey…. C) apply equal quantity mixture of fresh lemon juice and garlic juice on the roots of hairs…. Leave it for 30-45 minutes…. After that wash hairs with ROOTZ SHAMPOO (rajah ayurveda) three times in a week…… do all things for 30 days. These things are much more effective. Consult to me for further suggestion. THANKS.
