I am a 45 year female and have cervical disc prolapse in c4-c5 and lumbar disc prolapse in l4-l5-si. I am also suffering from hypertension and sometimes hyperglycemia. What should I do to improve my condition. I am taking medication for bp. I also suffer from acid reflux and constipation.

Massage with your thumbs from the mid points of the shoulder blades on both sides towards the lower back of your head up to lower level of the ears. Use oil or water for massage. Rotate your head clockwise and anticlockwise, forward and down, left and right a few times. Do for 5 to 10 times morning and evening. Give pressure the dipping point on the portion between the thumb and the index finger on the back of the palm. Press and release for 15 times where the pain is more. This will solve the problem. Further do some wrist rotation exercise. Consult after 5 days. For further guidance and treatment.

Haver you tried streching your calf muscles, if not do that first. Give icing for your calf muscles and stretch well and followed by streching your quads muscle also. Never do any kind of exercise when your pain is more.

Dear well you need proper evaluation and imaging to confirm your diagnosis. Coccygodynia is very difficult to treat so if not relieved you can undergo eswt.

Neck, shoulders and ribs paining indicates some nerve compressed in cervical vertebrae most probably. Pl send X-ray Cervical spine report.

In such a young age backache is showing poor lifestyle, poor diet or may be due to injury. Try to rule out the cause. Panchkarma kati vasti is good option for good relif.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Use no pillow under the head. Kindly take BioD3 Max 1 tab dailyx10 Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x5days Do back(spine)/shoulder/knee exercises Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take Do not ignore it. It could be beginning of a serious problem. If no relief in 4_5 days,then contact me again.

Recurring chest pain . Sometimes left arms pain with shoulder and very rare jaw pain also . CT angio done found "long segment myocardial bridging in MID of LAD" after that echo and stress thallium nuclear test done which is normal No evidence of ischaemia at high level of exercise. Having cervical at at c4 c5 till c6 . But these pain worried too much.

Sir, you need conventional angiography as ct angio is not good choice for defenitive management. If it shows myocardial bridge and does not need angioplasty then rest assured; no need to worry. You have already done many unnecessary investigtions but forgotten for the basic coronary angiography. As of now ct angiogrphy is not replacement for conventional angiography. Your cardiologist might have suggested for the same. There is no evidence of ischemia at high level of exercise, so little reason to worry.

You should take Acupressure therapy and take Biochemic Nat sulph 200x + Nat mur 200x, 4 tab each thrice a day with warm water and take it 5 days than consult private online.

According your age x-ray and mri must according your problem to see your bone condition physiotherapy treatment must for and spine extension exercise avoid long sitting and toward bending best option to get rid of this pain.

I've joined gym after a long time. And soon after the first day of workout, i've got a muscle strain on my left arm. My right arm feels the normal pain like after every workout. But my left arm has worsen. I'm not able to stretch my arm full, because of the pain in the biceps area. What do I do?

This pain which you are feeling could be due to strain in your biceps because of exertion while gyming. You can start with ice packs at home, gentle anti inflammatory medications, activity restriction like avoid gym till your pain completely subsides, start gradually after pain relief with appropriate pre activity warm up and short increments in daily physical activity. Investigations advised - hb, tlc, dlc, esr, sugar f & pp, uric acid, vit d3 urine r/e x ray of the affected part. Anyway you may try- sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick mattress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomentation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Cyra-20mg 1 tab od x 5 days do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, inform me.

Advice. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Go to a physician and get yourself checked. Back pain after fall can be due to spondylolisthesis or even pivd. It can be muscle strain too.
