Hi lybrate-user, I would suggest you to go for knee strengthening exercises as it will reduce your pain. In the meantime please go for proper investigation like xray to check if there is any arthritis or not. Also would suggest you to take proper diet which should include calcium. If required, take calcium tablets also.

Hello lybrate user, - better to go with ayurveda treatment for her - application of mahanarayana taila with eucalyptus oil daily twice and giving hot fomentation for 15 min will relieve the pain and also strengthen her joints - also donno whether she can walk. Or not, better to do some moving exercises for her joints daily for 15 min thank you.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Nothing much to worry. You have not mentioned her age and does she have pain in other joints or body parts. And since how long she is feeling that pain. Sometimes the simple cause could be the footwear we are using. Ask her to start wearing Dr. Comfort sole chappals which we can easily buy from the market. Even at home she should wear this. STop wearing flat chappals. And secondly she can start doing footsoak in lukewarm water with a bit of rock salt before going to bed. It will overall relax her nerves and she will feel better.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari syrup and capsule twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

Hello- pain during menses is due to obstruction of mestrual blood flow or due to the deficiency of blood. It is associated with hormonal disturbances in the body. As you are facing unwanted hairs and weight gain also, it may be probable that you might be suffering from pcos. Start ayurvedic medications for that.

Dear Lybrateuser, - Avoid too much neck movement - apply pain relief gel three times a day - take pain relief tablet two to three times a day - sleep on a firm pillow which gives proper support to your neck & shoulders while sleeping - consult a physiotherapist for neck exercises, if pain is more traction is required - get an x- ray cervical spine done to rule out any bony problem.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

Hi. Backpain is a common problem. It is mainly due to bad posture and activities like bad reading position, bad chairs n bad bed etc. Stand n walk upright without stooping. Sit in a proper chair. Take 5-10 min breaks every 2 hrs. Sleep on a flat bed. Do exercise daily. While sleeping keep a rolled towel under your knees. Back pain gets relieved by lifestyle modifications. Do back strengthening exercises. Thank you.

Hi your grand father is 95 at this age I don't advise for surgery go through conventional treatment. It's take long periods of recovery almost 3 month or more.

Hello lybrate-user, Thank you for contacting me. Due to weather changes coldness is common. If you are repeatedly getting cold, than it can be a matter of weak immunity. Do some simple exercise like walking, yoga, practice some asans. Stretching exercise may relieve joint pain. Hope you get some relief.

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck back knee & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. For emergency treatment contact your nearest hospital or family doctor. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Why not discuss with me in a video conference? 1) Do massage with warm sesame oil or suitable oil for 15 min., afterwards take hot fomentation for 10 min. 2) Start natural calcium supplement. 3) Do regular stretching exercise 4) In yoga DO BHUJANGASAN, HALASAN & SURYANAMASKAR. LIFE-STYLE CORRECTION 1) Correct your sitting posture. 2) Take small pillow or back rest for lower back. 3) Foot should rest to floor easily. 4) Take small break after 1 hr & walk few steps. 5) Do neck & upper back extension, give feedback after 4 days.
