HI Lybrate USER…here I mention few simple things which gives you good result in a short period…. 1) avoid coffee and tea. 2) try to sleep prior to 10.30 pm…3) avoid oily, spicy, salty, junk, fast, fermented and stale foods…4) take ½ tsf of fine powder of nutmeg and ½ tsf of fine powder of Indian gooseberry and pinch of black salt, add 4 tsf of milk in it and make fine paste, apply it on pimples and black spots and leave it for 10-15 minutes after that wash face with lukewarm water…. Do this two times in a day…5) take 30 ml of AUDUMBARAVLEHA and 2-2 tablets of MADHUMALINI VASANT and SWASKUTHAR RASA after meals…do all these things for 15 days. Consult to me for further suggestions…THANKS.

Sir, My age is 37 years, I am suffering from anal fissure, I am on treatment from last fifteen day's but still I feel pain while passing stool, I am drinking a lot of water and taking fibrous food.

Dear lybrate user, you should take the following medications as directed:- 1) 5 drops of homoeopathic sulphur 200 once in a week. 2) 5 drops of homoeopathic aesculus hip 30 at early morning daily before brushing teeth 3) 5 drops of homoeopathic podophyllum 30 before going to bath daily. 4) 5 drops of homoeopathic hamamelis 30, just one hour before dinner daily.

I will suggest you to apply aloevera gel twice a day for six months over the lips and follow up on completion.

Dr Anvika here the Dermatologist practicing in Delhi and today we are going to talk about the most commonly done cosmetic procedures across the globe that is Laser hair reduction, very first I am going to demonstrate the steps and secondly I am going to answer all the frequently asked questions about the same. So today we have a beautiful lady with us who wants to get rid of the unwanted upper lips hair, very first we are going to mark the region where she wants to get rid of it. So here I mark the region, secondly we shave the hair on the concern region, I am just opening the new blade for her. So we shave the region. Third step we take the eye protection for the patient. Now we use the US FDA approved lasers and we set up the laser setting according to the patient skin colour, hair colour and the hair type. Now finally we setup the energy parameters of the laser according to the patients skin colour, hair colour and the hair thickness. Now I set up the energy setups and now I will start with the laser shots. We will start for the laser shots now, so where I place my laser and I start giving the shots. So as you can see, as soon as we finish the procedure there is mild redness and swelling which goes off in 2 to 10 minutes and the patient is ready to go back home. So how does Laser hair reduction work? We all know that black colour absorbs light. Similarly the black colour of the hair absorbs the laser light gets heated up and gets kill. This is how laser hair reduction work. Now, how many sessions are required? Everybody requires around 8 sessions done its 4-6 weeks interval to get the desired results. And how much time does each section take? That depends upon the area, suppose if you are getting the upper lips done, it hardly takes 5 minutes, under arms 5 minutes, the full arms might take half an hour, full body takes around 2 to 3 hours per session. Is it really safe? Well Laser hair reduction is an extremely safe procedure provided, done using only US FDA approved lasers and not by using the Chinese and the Korean lasers and provide it done under a doctor’s supervision, who has a complete knowledge of the lasers. Sun screen does not show improvement, it will only save you from further sun tan. It is pigmentation, you will need to de tan the area. You may use yogurt to do so. Apply and let dry for 15 minutes everyday. Continue using sunscreen. Try to cover the pigmented area outdoors. Take vitamin c rich foods. It will take some time to improve the condition. Go for laser treatment for faster results.

Creams work only for superficial pigmentation not for scars. You can start initially on milder depigmentation creams which contain kojic acid, arbutin, niacinamide like Melaglow at night and use sunscreen three times a day. And depending on type of skin whether oily or dry you can choose a face wash. It need examination and personalized plan. You can consult in private with photographs.

For fair & glowing skin : • Applying a mixture of cucumber and papaya with one teaspoon of each and with three teaspoon of oatmeal apply it for 5 to 10 minutes then rinse off with water twice a week. • Apply one teaspoon Besan with one teaspoon of curd and a pinch of haldi ( turmeric) mix it with water then apply for 15 minutes then rinse off it with water Once a week. . • Apply one teaspoon orange juice or take a piece of orange open it then apply that area for 5 minutes then rinse off it once a week. • Eat More fruits daily. • Mash half banana mix it with 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and half teaspoon of sandalwood powder mix it well and make smooth paste apply it for 10 minutes then rinse off with water. • Save yourself from sunlight by covering your face with cloth or by using sunscreen lotion .
