Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily .Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. .Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily – lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana ? Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Id she has not had any injury to the knee then at this age it is most likely to be degenerative pathology. This needs to be confirmed with xrays. Blood investigation to rule out inflammatory arthritis may be required if there is family history of ra. The first line of management in degenerative knee pain is conservative with physiotherapy and pain control with over the counter simple analgesic.

U can use hot pack or heating paid that area some days do not use stress some times can filling pain in that area.

Knee replacement is beneficial for any patient: 1) who is having difficulty in ambulation and leading his/her normal life 2) analgesic requirement on a daily basis 3) high grade of arthritis and after other treatment options have been tried and failed. 4) obviously any deformity of knee is an indication for surgery. Hi apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.

I'm 62 years old leading a healthy life. Lately I am feeling stiffness in my back heels when I get up in the morning. After some time this stiffness goes automatically. What should I do to avoid this problem? Kindly guide me.

Drink plenty of water. Do some strenching exercises in the morning. Get your blood uric acid levels checked.

I stopped taking non-veg (egg, fish & chicken) 4 years before. Very often I am getting vitamin-d deficiency due to which I am getting joint pains. Is that the reason for this deficiency? Shall I start taking again.

Vitamin D deficiency is very common in people eating non-veg also! Most important factor which influences Vitamin D synthesis in our body is exposure to strong sunlight. Recent studies have showed that nearly 3/4th of Indian people are deficient in Vitamin D. There is no harm in maintaining a healthy vitamin D level through regular intake of D3 supplements. However Vitamin D should always be taken under supervision of a physician.

Kindly show me a photograph of the affected part. Rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful Do hot fomantation. Paracetamol 250mg od & sos x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab od x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again. Do not ignore. It could be beginning of a serious problem.

Keep your leg raised while sitting or lying quadriceps strengthening exercises- quad clenches: lie flat on your back or sit upright on a chair with leg kept horizontally on another surface. Now, tighten the muscle on the front of the thigh by pushing your knee down. You should feel your thigh muscles clench, hold for 3 secs. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Short arcs: lie flat on your back or sit upright with your leg placed horizontally on a flat surface like a chair or bed. Place a rolled up towel under the knee. Pull your toes towards you and clench you thigh muscles. Slowly lift your foot up off the bed until your knee is straight (keep your knee resting on the towel). Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower them on the chair. Repeat 10 times twice a day. Straight leg raise: lie flat on your back. One leg and knee will be straight and other leg should be bent. Pull your toes towards you and tighten/clench the muscle on the front of the thigh, locking your knee straight. Lift your foot up in the air, about 6 inches off the bed. Hold for 3 secs and slowly lower the leg. The knee must remain straight the whole time you are doing this exercise.

I lost my sensation of right leg after the accident. It has little bit improvements now. But not so much. Is there any possibility to improve sensation? Meanwhile I feel some sounds from knee when I make movements of my right leg. After the operation I can't run and take long time walk.

Take physiotherapy treatment. Muscle stimulator will help you in regaining strength in muscles. It takes some time to recover but you can do all you want after the treatment.

Mere bete ka minor hair crack hua tha right leg mein. 42 days plaster k baad 5 din pehle plaster hata diya gaya hai doctor ne kaha bone jut gaya hai. Lekin plaster hatne k baad wo chal nahi pa raha hai. Pls suggest kitna time lagega chalne mein.

I am 35 years old. During my age of 25, while playing in a water game, I met small accident. Due to that in my neck, the tissue in c7 bone is slightly diverged. Goodevening I have understood your problem. You must first of all try and avoid sitting for long hours. A good posture will help a lot to increase your spine stability which in turn will improve your sitting posture. I would like you to correct it by sitting straight not bending fowrad too much. Do take a feww breaks inbetween while your at your study time. Do a couple of stretches for your shoulder and your back. Your very young and you need to take immediate care as you reach your late 20s you should not have further complications. `
