Since April, I was under ayurvedic treatment for fissures but had to discontinue due to acidity. I was under impression that ayurveda is safe. Acidity stopped within a week after discontinuing ayurveda. I have relaxed sphincter tone, anal swelling on one side, it shrinks after taking Chirulvilvadi kashaya but acidity stopped from continuing. Mild occasionally rectal pain is there.

lybrate-user, for anal fissures and fistula the most important thing more than a medicine is the food. You should completely avoid spicy, hot and sour food. Ad curry leaves, fibre food to your diet. 1 glass of water + half glass of milk + 3 small onions - boil it and and then grind it in mixi and have it on empty stomach. Elephant yam is good for fissures. You can do sitz bath. Sit in luke warm water mixed with little salt for half hour take more fruits and fruit juices. Chiruvilwadi kashayam is very good for fissures. Check your diet and take kashayam regularly.

1. Agar sabhi test normal hai toh hume in baaton ka khayal rakhna padega: - adrenal gland ka tumor jo kidneys ke upar hote hai. ultrasound kiya ja sakta hai - dimag se hone wali bimari: diabetes insipidus. (endocrinologist ka opinion lena padega) - thyroid, calcium ki jhanch jaroori hai.

Urinary Tract Infection - Causes And Symptoms

MCH-Urology, M.S. (General Surgery) , MBBS

Urinary Tract Infection - Causes And Symptoms

Infection caused in the kidneys, bladder, urethra or the ureters is known as urinary tract infection. According to doctors, women are generally more at risk of suffering from this condition than men.

Some of the causes which contribute to the development of this infection are:

  1. Invasion of bacteria: Like any other infection, one of the causes of urinary tract infection is the invasion of the bacteria Escherichia coli in the bladder. This type of bacteria is most commonly found in the gastrointestinal tract and is most often held responsible for urinary tract infection.
  2. Spreading of the bacteria from anus to urethra: The spread of the gastrointestinal bacteria from the anus to the urethra leads to the infection of the urethra thereby causing urinary tract infection.

Some of the symptoms of urinary tract infection are:

  1. A nagging urge to urinate: One of the most predominant symptoms of urinary tract infection is a persistent, nagging urge to urinate. You would know your urinary tract is infected when you feel the urgency to urinate extremely frequently.
  2. There is a burning sensation when you urinate: The symptoms of urinary infection are extremely visible and are felt intensely by the one suffering from it. If you feel a burning sensation while urinating, chances are extremely high that you are suffering from urinary tract infection.
  3. Red colored urine: Sometimes your urine may contain perceptible amount of blood in them. In most cases, presence of blood in urine is a definite sign of urinary tract infection.
  4. Foul smelled urine: An internal infection in the urinary tract manifests itself in different ways. One of the chief symptoms of this infection is discharging foul smelling urine.
  5. Pain in the pelvic area: Women who suffer from urinary tract infection experience excruciating pain near the pelvic area, sometimes extending to the pubic bone.

What are the symptoms of severe hydronephrosis? And when should I consult the doctor. When I do intermittent catheterization I don't find any sediments am I safe?

What are the symptoms of severe hydronephrosis? And when should I consult the doctor. When I do intermittent catheter...
The main symptom is pain, either in the side and back (known as flank pain), abdomen or groin. Other symptoms can include pain during urination, other problems with urination (increased urge or frequency, incomplete urination, incontinence), nausea and fever. The most common cause for this blockage is a kidney stone, but scarring and blood clots can also cause acute unilateral obstructive uropathy. A blocked ureter can cause urine to go back up into the kidney, which causes swelling. This backflow of urine is known as vesicoureteral reflux (VUR) You have to meet a urologist as early as you can.
