Redness can be commonly due to allergy or infection, you need to visit nearby eye surgeon to check that. Also get your glass power checked.

Hi.
You can get your eyes tested from an Opthalmologist (eye specialist) only who can examine your eye from inside and will make a proper diagnosis.
Include the following for getting better vision:
Vitamins A, C, E, and minerals like copper and zinc are essential to eyesight. Get the antioxidants from dark leafy greens, egg yolks, yellow peppers, pumpkin, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Include garlic and onions. Blueberries, grapes as they have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties that can help improve your vision. DHA is a fatty acid found in coldwater fish like wild salmon, sardines and mackerel.
Exercises for eyes:
Warm your eyes. Rub your palms together to create heat, and then place them against your eyes for five seconds. Repeat this three times.
Roll your eyes. Start by looking up and then slowly circle 10 times clockwise and 10 times counterclockwise.
Focus. Hold a pen at arm's length, focus your eyes on it, and slowly bring the pen closer until it's about 6 inches away from your nose. Then slowly move it back, keeping your eyes focused on the pen, 10 times in all.
Massage your temples. Using your thumb knuckles, massage your temples in small circles, 20 times in one direction and 20 in the other. Repeat the same actions above the mid-point
of the eyebrows at the forehead, then below the eyes on both sides of the bridge of the nose.
Take a mini-nap. Put your head back, close your eyes, and relax for 3 minutes.
Insufficient sleep may weaken your vision, so shoot for 8 hours of sound sleep a night.
Rest your eyes 10 minutes for every 50 minutes spent reading or in front of the computer. If your eyes feel overly tired, lie down and place cooling cucumber slices over your eyelids.
Medication:
Take homoeopathic medicine which will help you in preventing rather reducing the power of your eyes. Take Physostigma 6/ thrice daily for 1 month. Thereafter, revert back for further guidance.

Dear red eye has many causes. You have to see if it is associated with blurring of vision, pain, discharge and other complaints. But commonly its allergic or infective in origin ie allergic or infective conjunctivitis. Which has simple treatment protocol. But still its wise to see an ophthalmologist for a thorough slit lamp examination to rule out other differentials for red eye.

Since you are pregnant you should consult your gynaec and hav the foetus checked thoroughly.
Again as you said you might be suffering from anxieties. Do meditation before bedtime or go for aum chants.
And try to resolve the stress creating circumstances if possible.
If needed you can consult me privately.

Amblyopia or Lazy eye occurs because the quality of image in one eye was not good during the phase of visual development in the first 10 years of life. Treatment hence is possible in first 10 years of life and in some cases upto 18-20 years.
Hence in terms of visual gain, nothing much may be possible.
Since you have high computer usage follow instructions to prevent computer vision syndrome, 20-20-20 rule and palming.
Also, some of the eye disease run in the family. Will strongly recommend a routine eye evaluation for all children in your family to detect and timely treat refractive error or squint if present.

I think you are having stye .
Styes are infection of Moll & zeis gland present in every body eye lids ,basically infected by staphylococci.styes are very painful swelling near the root of eye lashes, you need oral antibiotics&anti inflammatory tablet as well as antibiotic ointment to apply locally.Hot fomentation helps to some extent in styes.
